When pirate Candy Dandy opened up the treasure chest the treasure inside seemed to be glowing. Golden Doubloon stared in awe at the abundance of delicious treats and goodies. Slowly, worried any sudden movements would cause Blackbeard to reappear and steal their find, Golden Doubloon moved to the chest. Carefully she plucked a golden coin out of the masses, opened it up, and took a bite.

"MMM!" The filly cried with glee. "It's so delicious! Who knew you could EAT treasure!" She took another bite and through her mouthful she uttered, "It should be like this more often." Of course then their ship would be bare of treasure and their guts enormous.

She finished the treat and licked her lips, "This will last us a great long time. Pirate Candy Dandy, you are amazing!"

She plucked up a chocolate covered apple but before she could chow down a tiny colt who was watching the events unfold politely asked, "Excuse me, Pirates? C-Could we have some?"

Golden Doubloon froze and glanced at the mighty treasure chest full of edible gold. "Uh....y-you want our treasure?" But they did all the work to find it! It was theirs! But...it probably wasn't very nice to hog all the candy to themselves.

"Well, um, Candy Dandy? What do you think? You were the one who found the map and did all the digging. Thoughts?"

"Fat but happy! I'll take it any day!" Golden replied with a mouthful of sweets as she picked up another chocolate coin and bit into it. It had such an amazing flavor! Just the absolute greatest treat she ever had. And there was TONS of it! All for her and the crew!

With a mouth full of chocolate, she listened to Candy's thoughts on giving up some of their chocolate hoard. She really didn't want to share it but once again, it was the right thing to do. She might be a pirate but she couldn't be a greedy one! There were lots of fair and good pirates out there so that's what she wanted to be too.

"I like the sound of that Pirate Candy! We can't just give our treasure to anyone. They gotta prove they deserve it!" Golden Doubloon said in her best growly voice and scrunched up face to boot in hopes of matching Candy Dandy's fierce expression.

"ARRRRG! I'm ready Pirate Candy Dandy! Lets hear you scalawags! And you better be LOUD!" The flutter shouted as she flew up high to be seen by all the fillies and colts.

"One! Two! Three!!" Golden Doubloon shouted and the force of the loud pirate-y screaming chorus nearly blew her away. She quickly reset herself and did her best to hold back a fit of laughter at how silly they sounded. But the herd of kids definitely proved they deserved the candy! What a great crew they could make if they put their minds to it!

With a big grin on her face, Golden Doubloon helped Candy Dandy hand out the candy to all their new pirate inductees. By the end of it there was just enough to bring back to the crew and still be able to share a few pieces with her older pink friend.

"You know pirate Candy Dandy, this was an amazing adventure." Golden Doubloon told her buddy as she took a large bite out of a cookie. "We should do this every week! I bet that old pirate hid treasures like this allll over." She gestured out at the land with a bright gleam in her eye, "At least I hope so! Wouldn't that be amazing?"

Golden Doubloon's eyes sparkled like her namesake as she stared at the handkerchief full of sweets. "Thanks so much, Pirate Candy Dandy! My crew will love these sugary delights for sure! I'll have to hide a few for myself cause I know they'll eat all of it if I don't!" The filly laughed and cuddled the bag of special pirate bounty.

Reluctantly she set it aside to help her friend cover up the hole and pat down the sand. When it was all done she hovered back to admire their quick clean up.

"It was an amazing adventure! You're such a great pirate, Candy Dandy! An inspiration to us all!" Golden Doubloon giggled and happily lunged forward to give the pretty mare the tightest of hugs she could muster. "Thank you so so so much! I learned so much with your help! This was a really fun adventure! Full of danger and thrill around every turn!" Her eyes grew large as she clutched the mare and recalled all the events they went through to get to this point.

She finally released her to pick up the bundle of leftover candy. "Heh, even if we can't do it every week I really look forward to the next one. When we do this again I'll be the one bringing the map!"

She was already thinking up ideas of where a great treasure map could be hiding. Surely there was one out there that could lead to some of Candy Dandy's favorite things like this one led to Golden's.

"Before you leave, wanna go grab some ice cream? I've suddenly become very wealthy with golden doubloon's so it's my treat!" The little flutter had the biggest grin on her face as she held up a big shiny chocolate coin.
