“It wasn’t my fault,” she quietly protested to Nevada just before her twin waltzed off to wrap her arms around another trainee. Alaska narrowed her eyes, tempted to protectively follow her sister but decided against it. At least that other trainee was a semi-familiar face. She clicked her tongue and snapped her attention away from her sister and Ian.
With nothing else to do, she opted to slide into the empty seat next to Sin’s and ordered herself a Shirley Temple for starters. She would ease into the drinking, and even then she would have to pay careful attention so as not to get drunk. God, that’d be so embarrassing. Tattooed fingers swirled her straw a couple times before taking a sip. Unfortunately for Sin, she possessed sharp ears. “Excuse me?” she answered in an equally low mutter. “Did you just call my sister sexy?” As if she gave a damn about her own sex appeal. Make a move on her twin and prepare to face Alaska’s tough love. “You’ll have to go through me first.”
She sat up straighter and adjusted herself until her unusually high sense of poise and grace returned. Coolly, Alaska traced the edges of the tattoos on her neck. “Being sexy was never a priority to begin with anyways.”

He was leaning with his back against the bar counter with his elbows supporting him, observing the casino room. Sin lurthered further amused by Nevada's well timed wink before she returned to her own interaction. Waving his hand to the bartender, he discreetly ordered a drink on the rocks. When the drink arrived, he didn't hesitate to sip at it before turning his gaze to Alaska's angry one. He drank with the experience of an adult, not a child.
Tch. She had overheard his comment after all. He didn't deny her accusation. But he took it as a good sign that she wasn't coming at him with her weapon. She really was too overprotective of her twin who Sin could see was capable of taking care of herself. Despite his comment, "Don't worry. I don't have designs on your sister." He could say that with certainty for the moment. He had no interest in looking for romance or trouble, not at this point in his life. Although picking up a lady on this cruise ship wasn't beyond his interests..
He glanced over at Alaska once more, reflecting that she must have inherited the more disciplined yet graceful personality of the two. "Ease up.. I have no desire to face you. We're friends after all, right?" At the moment though, he was quite interested in the secrets of this cruise ship.. it was too bad that they had been caught. Would there be a way to sneak in another hunter? He debated this while taking on an idle air of an indulgent guest. Nyxtsuki Moon he already is but dont worry, hes got this

"Attention," the boat quivered a bit as the PA system went on. "This is your captain speaking on behalf of our crew, welcome aboard. We will be leaving five minutes from now, and your rooms should be ready as well. Enjoy the rest of the evening and entertainment and have a fantastic voyage!"
A few of the non Hunter type of occupants cheered, others simply continued chattering, it was going to be a wonderful evening. OOC FREE TIME:All characters have until tomorrow (evening) to wander around in FREE TIME. You can continue rping in the promenade, head to the casino, or break off into CRUISE PRPS in any of your rooms. As the next major installment (plot wise) is in the evening tomorrow (PST), if you do not finish your PRPS by then you can always slowly finish them on your own time throughout the rest of the event! gaia_crown Room Distribution: - Trainees get a basic room on Deck 7. It is a small, very narrow room equipped with a singular bed, a small window, and a tiny shower facility, as well as a cupboard. It is very tiny and modest. - Intermediate Trainees get the same setup on Deck 8 except that they have a slightly larger bed, and a small balcony, openable, instead of a window. - Full Hunters get a quite generous junior suite on Deck 9, about two and a half times the size of the trainee room. It holds enough space for a queen bed and another sofabed setup, has a large, spacious closet, a bathroom setup that actually is in a room of its own and not just a shower drawn by a curtain, a few wardrobes, and if you are lucky (roll 1d6, if you roll 1 or 6), a jacuzzi. The balcony extending outside also has chairs. gaia_crown Special Events: Throughout the promenade and the casino, special GM events may pop up that lead to hints of what is to come and may help you in the future. These are optional but mostly beneficial!

He laughed aloud, reaching to pull a few coins out of the machine and tossing them up and down in the palm of his hand. "Oh, very smooth," he said. "As smooth as a cucumber, that's for sure. Well, the attempt is always much appreciated."
He winked at her, automatically turning his cheek to let her kiss it. "I am indeed a Mist," Ian answered, giving Nevada a small, mock salute. "And when a pretty lady such as yourself asks for help, I have no reason to say no. What's up?"

“That’s comforting to know,” she admitted reluctantly. She relaxed her shoulders somewhat, but kept a straight back and refined posture. Alaska brought her glass up to her lips for another sip and nearly choked at his sudden declaration. F-Frie..?! Fortunately the choking wasn’t obvious. Just a slight slip in her posture before she quickly regained herself. The glass tinkled softly when she set it back down on the counter.
“F-Friends…?” Good job on the stutter. “I don’t know what you’re talking about. Since when did we ever become friends?” she scoffed. Alaska paused, leaning against the counter as the captain made his announcement. Despite the hair dye and tattoos, she seemed oddly cute as she—…huffed?—and drank even more of her drink. “Whatever. Think whatever you want.” Baka
And then she shot daggers at Ian because she's watching you two.

Nevada took one more look at Sin and Alaska, seeing that they settled for drinks before angling her head at the security guards. "First rule of Mist? We gotta be stealthy. Tried to get past those guards but my twin and her friend got a little...too curious right away." She shrugged, "What do you expect from suns, act first, think after." It was a long thought out process and she knew her twin was by far more smarter then that but...
"So why don't we pretend to be a couple, see if we can accidentally move past them and figure out what the people about ghost were talking about...." She smiled at him, "If you're up to it?" She slid into the seat, "Take a minute to think about it though, since getting caught ruins our chance of going down there again."
And while he did that, Nevada texted Stormy about possibly taking advantage of her friendship with Gale. Because Full hunter rooms were most likely more accommodating and she wasn't sure if she could handle not being a in a room without her roomie again.Ol-j-Man Text to Stormy: Hey cutie, are you with Gale?

Somewhere in the shuffle, Tuck had lost track of Heidi. This kind of made him a little cranky, but the hundred dollars burning a hole in his pocket made him feel a little better. He thought about gambling, but for the time being the Moon merely lingered about the gambling tables, hands in his pockets. Covertly staring at Nevada. Okay, not really covertly. Just so his staring wasn't completely obvious, Tuck sent Heidi a text just to make sure everything was okay. Eight Text To: Heidi Text From: Tuck You behaving yourself, short stack? I lost you. Stealthy. He liked the sound of that, and he definitely liked being able to gather information, considering he had just barely been awoken a few days ago. Being of use to someone, whether it was another hunter, a leader, or even a random stranger was something that was quite satisfying to him.
Ian grinned, his eyes flickering towards the other hunters at the bar. "Your twin, eh?" he asked, and slipped both hands into his pockets, rocking back on his heels "She seems pleasant."
He smiled winningly over at Alaska and gave her a wink before taking a seat beside Nevada at the bar, swiveling sideways on the stool and signaling the bartender for a drink. "It'd be a pleasure to assist you."

A free cruise was pretty ******** amazing, even with the looming risk of disaster and everything going ******** titanic-shaped. He didn't fancy trying to wield Tracey on a boat either if push came to shove. But mission was the direction he shoved his thoughts in, there was no time left to spend thinking about the wedding and too much distraction could land them in a lot ******** worse trouble.
The casino was familiar immediately, something about the tables and machines singing to what remained of blue kingdom in him. Something about his posture readjusted itself and he strode taller, carried himself more regally and all in all surveyed the place as if it was his domain rather than simply a strange location.
He kept close to the guys but threw Jordan a smirk that was strangely, almost a challenge.
Money - 100 bucks. Probably more but that's Harrison's problem ok

"Yep! Alaska is my twin, named after the states for whatever reason our parents thought it would be funny." She slid her gaze to the older twin, smiling at her and waving. She looked so stiff with Sin that Nevada wanted to go over and comfort her. Instead though, remembering her sister was a big girl, She turned her attention to Ian and smiled again. "I'd like to think so, under all that glaring she is actually very sweet." YES VERY SWEET. Only Nevada would know that....for now.
"Fantastic! Alright." She leaned in close, as if conspiring. "Ready on your-" And then security was eyeing her. yes they were eyeing her and she could see it. "Actually, Think they know my face but not yours. Why don't you try Solo?" Goddamn it, she wanted to hear more about the people's conversation! "Good luck Ian? Come find me if it fails, I'll buy you a very apologetic drink...." She saluted before pushing the mist trainee over to the hallway.
As she returned, her gaze flickered up to a very large man she knew all too well watching her and smiled at him. Briefly she wondered where his small blonde date was.
"Hello Tuck." She eased over to him, "Come to gamble away fortunes?"

Candace had not been expecting the hundred Dakota slipped into her hand when he had distracted her with the dramatic kiss before she left. She wasn't sure how to feel about that; on the one hand Candace loved to be spoiled, she loved to feel pampered and special and being given gifts of almost any kind, but on the other..he was so generous and refused to spend anything on himself, she almost felt guilty about it. She would feel more guilty if she wasn't determined to pay him back for the dress and shoes. Even if she had to find a way to directly deposit it into Dakota's bank account when he wasn't paying attention. As she entered the casino she was pleased to see faces she knew. Tuck and Nevada were given a wave, and she had been about to approach them until she saw Rep. She smirked, hurrying over to him and putting a hand on his arm to get his attention. "Fancy meeting you here~. You look right at home," Candace observed with amusement, glancing to the slot machines. She did want to try, and part of her was kind of excited by the black jack tables she saw over there. Candace wasn't even usually a gambler. Rep gave Candace a toothy grin. "I feel like I've lived in a casino for ******** years, even now." Penthouse suite, sunsets and floozies, it was a life he'd never lived but one that felt close enough to touch. He looked her over approvingly. "Could say the same about you man though, you look just as at home."
He lazily shifted his attention back to the casino. "I almost ******** expect there to be a tiger lazing around somewhere."

"Is that so?" Jordan moved quietly most of the time, but now he seemed to appear at Candace's other side almost out of nowhere, smiling faintly. It was strange to feel the faint echoes of that other self here, a self who'd been shamelessly manipulative, charismatic, and vicious, a man he didn't like to admit he could have been, but it was unavoidable in this environment and strangely comfortable. He wasn't that person, but he could borrow an edge of the other's confidence to look and feel like he belonged here. "You're looking very elegant yourself, Candace."
