The next day, Jason had shaken off the effects of being in halloween, and was ready to look for the portal once again.
He was not ready to face more polar bears. Because they were bears and they wanted to eat him.

Ofelia had brought cookies with her this time to eat in between trying to find the correct portal.
She promptly lost half her cookies while running from a goddamn polar bear.

Stumbling around the woodland area (and trying not to be freaked out by the trees), Jason found another portal, already prepared to find more bears. Instead, he stepped through it and found he was at the entranceway of a dark corridor. The air was humid, and he could see torches line the walls.
It appeared he had found it.
"Ofelia, over here!" He called out, pulling the Sun hunter in with him.

Ofelia was pretty pleased when she was suddenly tugged inside the area, her eye trying to adjust to the difference in light. Everything smelled weird, everything looked weird, and her level of excitement was off the chart. "Holy s**t man Jason we made it in!" The poor Moon hunter was greeted with a hug and a squeeze. "Adventure starts here!"
There were tunnels everywhere and the torches? It was like nothing she'd seen before and it made her so excited to even think about it. Part of her wished she'd brought a camera along. What treasure lay in wait at the end of all of this?

Ofelia may of been excited, but Jason was doing his best just to remain composed. With the hug he stiffened half expecting something bad to happen, but it didn't. "Y-y-yeah...w-we're in..." He did not like adventure. Nope, not in the slightest. With no other obvious routes, Jason headed down the corridor into darkness, his eyes darting everywhere eon the lookout for danger. Stamina: 18

Getting through the first area seemed to be easy enough and Ofelia just walked until they came to another section. For some reason she felt like the walls were changing....and then holy crap there was a sudden drop. The redhead managed to right herself before she went over, backing up and taking care, and she took a few deep breaths as she heard the sound of what appeared to be snakes.
As much as she wasn't scared of snakes she didn't want to get bitten....unless her shield would prevent that? Then maybe she wouldn't care so much. "Careful, drop here." She called back to Jason.

With all his senses on edge, Jason did notice the subtle shifts in the walls as if they were changing, but then he wasn't fully sure if what he was seeing was real. He wouldn't out it past this place to have a few curses on it either, and knowing his luck he already had one. As if to prove such a theory, his foot walked on thin air, and he was barely able to pull himself back from falling the hole. Which was filled with snakes. could he go home now?Stamina 17

Ofelia was pretty sure she'd passed that torch before. Maybe...oh wait she had because next thing Ofelia knew she was falling down into a pit. The sounds of snakes were no longer just sounds as the creatures decided they wanted to chase her and the redhead mildly shrieked as she darted out of the area as fast as she could.
Maybe she'd set a new world record.

The sound of Shrieking traveled to his ears, And Jason turned around to find the source of it. "Ofelia?!" He shouted, afraid something had happened to her. Because of this he nearly feel into another hole in the ground. Stamina: 16
