Paimon dipped his head. "Sorry. She's not around at the moment, so I didn't think to mention it. Plus, I'm not sure she really wants Michiko to know..." He stifled a cough as he nuzzled Ca again.

Punk chuckled at Ca's irritable expression and nod of agreement before she turned to nuzzle her mate. "Understandable. Battered hearts are the hardest to deal with." He knew from experience--his own. He smiled again, eyes dancing. "So, you fell into the same category as me in her book, did you?" The mare snorted and got another laugh out of the bird Azrien. "That's my girl!" They were definitely birds of a feather...

Paimon shrugged embarrassedly. "Mo-... Michiko has recently Bonded to Lady Dea, and is extraordinarily protective over her.. not to mention, after finally getting her grandkids back, and finding out that her eldest daughter is pregnant... However... She is being just as protective of Ca as the rest... Surprising enough.." He nudged her a bit, knowing that it wasn't all Michiko's fault that she didn't really trust Ca. Ca herself was a little wary of Michiko, especially when it came to Paimon.

Ca conceded at Paimon's comment, nipping at his mane. She had noticed Michiko's protectiveness, though it was hard to tell which side of it she'd be on after the foals were born. First the mare had been hostile, then protective... what would she be like when the children were physically there?
Punk caught the correction, raising an eyebrow. "You don't have to hide that she's your adopted mother from me, you know. It's not like I'm going to do anything here." He chuckled at Ca's apparent fretting. "I'm sure things will be fine. You're part of her family now too." He winked. "Try not to cause too much chaos. As a general rule, they aren't as tolerant of it up here in the good ol' north." Looking around, he added, "But it's a lot safer here. Quite frankly, I'm pretty relieved..." He'd worried what would happen if any of his daughters had foals in the south, especially if they'd fallen into a situation like he had with Calypso. The south was a harsh place. It was bad enough looking out for enemies, but when you had to keep an eye on your allies too, things got really out of hand...

Paimon shook out his mane, sending out little sparks as he did so, which fell harmlessly upon his mate. "Its not that I'm hiding it.. Its just strange for some people to think that a mare who so hates my father and any of his ilk, had taken in his foal and practically raised him as her own, even though she knew he was evil like his father to begin with." he said softly. The thought confused him as well as anyone else, and Michiko never answered anyone's questions about it when they asked. She was as tightlipped on that as she was protective of everyone else.

"Most would find it strange that a formerly Bonded stallion was with the Six," Punk replied flippantly. "I think I've heard every strange story there is in the book. Quite frankly, I like them better." He paused, then added, "Though you might wanna keep that one under lock and key from Michiko. Especially being newly Bonded, I doubt she'll understand and try to... ah, what's the word...?" Bombard him with questions, try to 'convert' him back to the side of the two-leggers...

Paimon nodded. "I told you... Its safe with me... No one is going to know. My Chosen doesn't even know." He said softly and gently. He knew better than that. He would never betray someone's trust like that.

Punk smiled slightly. "I appreciate that... Punks like me got enemies and rivals all over the place, you know? They'll take any chance to get dirt on me so they can tear me apart."
