"Huh? Guh...wha?"
Lance awoke, wiping drool off his face. Next to him there was a sweetass looking sword. He picked it up, making ninja noises while making cool poses. "Wupatchaaaaaa...!"
A quick sensation hit his mind. What was that?
...in his drunken state he couldn't tell he was being feared.
The sudden movement, however, he felt his insides churning. "Hurpppp!"
Quickly turning back around, he...
stumbles back 1 tile, landing on tile 1, next to the snake lady. He empties his stomach back towards tile 2. "Aruna pleasseeeeeee! Make the spinning stop!"
...okay so maybe the fear was working after all.

Aruna facepalmed. She felt like the only sane person on this mission. Of all the people who could have accepted it, why these two idiotic drunkards? "Gods, I hope this staff restores sobriety as well," she mumbled under her breath. The red-haired nagini remained on tile 1 in order to cure Lance of his fear. As she lifted the Restore staff in the air, its red orb shined brightly for a few seconds before returning to its original state.

Kieran had been trying to clamber back into the saddle when the berserk staff hit. Clumsily and unaware of the danger his foot thankfully slipped and with another clunk he fell back to the ground, laughing. He stopped laughing when suddenly Horse tossed his head, anger showing clearly in his eyes.
"Whuh-oh" muttered Kieran, hands suddenly scrabbling at the strap that still connected to the saddle. "N-Now Horse... ju-just calm down... there's a good boy."
Horse however was under the effect of the breserk staff, tossing his head angrily and ignoring his rider he caught sight of something through his field of vision that enraged him even more.
Aruna. Starting at a trot that was quickly threatening to become a gallop Horse began to move towards her at a fast enough pace that a drunk Kieran couldn't free himself. Towards space 11. "Bring it on stairs!" he exclaimed seeing where they were headed.

Kieran's helmeted head clonked against the top set of some stairs leading to the basement as Horse began to charge towards Aruna. "Urrrrgh I feel sick again" He murmured as the animal began to pick up speed. Horse was really moving now and through his legs Kieran could see more stairs up ahead.
"Oh crap! Aruna help me!" He shouted as Horse climbed the stair case, Kieran's head making a symphony of clonks and clunks against every step on the way up.
Horse made it as far as space 8 dragging his helpless rider behind him.

The mage (1) continued its path towards the intruders, landing on space 22.
Just then, echoing groans could be heard emerging from behind Kieran. Soon enough, two revenants emerged from stairways that led down below (Spaces 11 + 14). One revenant (2) stumbled forward onto space 9, while the other revenant (3) made it to space 13.

As the revevant moves to space 9.... ...a trap is sprung! A click sound is heard as the stairs suddenly shift and become slick, causing the revenant to slide down them and hit the bottom, inflicting 10 damage on it. However, the revenant first managed to swat his claws at Kieran, inflicting 10 damage on the rider. As the mage lands on space 22... ...a trap is sprung! A light rune suddenly activates beneath the mage's feet, creating a magical barrier around him, thus trapping him in place for 1 turn. As the other revenant lands on space 13... ...a trap is sprung! The sound of something nearby caused another revenant to emerge from the staircase on space 14. ...After all the ******** traps happen on the enemies, while none of the good guys have yet to activat traps, the enemies end their phase.

As he shook himself into sobriety, Lance looked back up to the scaly lady. "Aha! Thank you, Miss Aruna! Say, if you're not doing anything later, how about we retreat somewhere private and you can coil around me-...!"
The shambling sound of the revenant made Lance clear his head. "Kieran! Hang on, I'll help you!" Lance exclaimed as he...
...quickly hurried 2 tiles to Kieran's side at tile 8, placing himself next to the cavalier. Instead of helping him, he noticed something else... "...I mean, I'll help you in juuuuust a bit!" He said as he quickly snatched the Blue Gem of the revenant using his Steal skill.
(Can you put the current tile number next to the unit information Rath? There are several revenants and I just want to know for certain who's who, and it's easier to know since some of the numbers are covered.)

"You're welcome, Lance. I'll be taking a long bath to unwind after all of this over," she sighed.
Aruna finally slithered up the stairs avoiding the puddle of vomit on tile 2. Once again she lifted her staff up, this time to restore sanity to Horse. Maybe if she was lucky some of the magic will reach Kieran and bring him to his senses.

The magic didn't reach Kieran sadly, however it did stop Horse from caving in Lance's head as the thief raced past to steal the revenants gems... what the hell was a zombie doing with a gem anyways and why they couldn't have picked it up after kill--- errr re-killing it Kieran didn't know. What the armoured man did know however was that his mount was no longer acting insane. As Kieran was getting up the revenant took a swipe at him and clonked him on the helm, since Kieran wasn't wearing the strap the helmet spun around covering his eyes. Staggering past Lance and swearing he flailed out with his axe at the creature while stumbling to the side.
The axe connected with the creatures chest, dealing 8+6= 14 damage and bringing it in range for Lance to finish off, Kieran meanwhile continued stumbling before tripping over his own feet and crashing to the ground again struggling to get his helm on straight again.

The mage was unable to move because he is trapped by a light rune.
One revenant slowly staggers ahead to space 10.
The one behind it follows and makes it to space 13.

As the revenant with the white gem arrives at space 10... ...a trap is sprung! The sound of something nearby caused another revenant to emerge from the staircase on space 11. After having his blue gem stolen, the revenant continues his attack on the knight. With a scratch, he inflicts 1 damage to Kieran. The enemies then ended their phase.

"...Horse! It's you and me pal! Let's knock some skulls!"
Readying his Silver Sword into a battle stance, Lance...
spins his sword around, flashes away from sight, before reappearing behind the revenant, slashing once to seperate the head from the body with one swift, deadly blow, dealing 7+4=11 damage.
After finishing the monster off, Lance cleans off the smudge off his sword with a quick move, before sheathing the sword back onto his back. He turns back to the knight. "Get on my level." He said while taking out a pair of shaded glasses, increasing his badass level by about 5.

"This better be worth the money," Aruna muttered to herself. Deciding to let the men (and horse) become meatshields, the snake woman stayed where she was at. Kieran wasn't in the best of health though.  Aruna equiped her Kneader and pointed it at the horseman. A pale light engulfed Kieran replenishing his HP by 10. With that done, the "cleric" stood back and watched what would happen next.
