Griffin got to his feet and Knight was still down and trying to recover his strength. The ref reached a count of 5 when Jacob ran forward, trying to smash the side of his knee into Knight's head. Maybe Jacob could beat Knight down enough to take this match by count-out.

Knight was hit with the knee as it caused him to stand up, holding his head as he backed up to the ring. He held onto the rope, holding the side of his skull as he shook his head a bit. "6!" The ref yelled to try and get Knight and Griffin back into the ring.

Griffin would then go to grab Knight's arm and attempt to whip him into the barricade. The ref reached a count of 7, yelling at the two to get back in the ring..

Knight held onto the rope for dear life as his arm was pulled. He soon jumped up and tried to dropkick Griffin's with the restricted movement.

Griffin tried his hardest to rip Knight away from ringside and launch him into the barricade. The ref hit a count of 8 and Knight left his feet to try and hit Griffin with a dropkick. It landed on the middle of Griffin's chest and sent him to his backside. He quickly tried to pop up to his feet though because he needed to get back into the ring or risk losing this match. If he wasn't able to get there at least he would try to keep Knight out of the ring and end this match with a draw.

Knight managed to connect with the dropkick as he forced himself into the ring, but before Griffin got back in, Knight rolled out to have the ref start a new count, the crowd having a mixed reaction to Knight's motives.

Griffin wasn't able to stop Knight from getting back into the ring, but Griffin didn't hear the bell ring signaling the end of the match. Knight had rolled back out of the ring and started a new count! Griffin wasn't sure why Knight just didn't take the win, but Jacob wasn't going to waste any time asking the man. As soon as Knight's feet hit the ground on the outside of the ring Jacob threw a blistering superkick toward's Knight's midsection, trying to stop him dead in his tracks. Knight might have given Jacob a second chance, but he wasn't going to give Knight any slack.

Knight had a brief moment before he came at him with the superkick. He reacted on instincts and tried to deliver a left elbow to the knee of Griffin to get him to stop. His eyes and brow were showing signs of fatigue and pain from Griffin's assault on him.

Griffin's superkick came to a halt as Knight's elbow crashed into his knee causing the leg to drop back down to the ground before his foot was able to impact Knight's stomach. Griffin paced back a few steps, tenderly putting his foot on the ground to see how his knee was holding up after the strike. It was a little sore, but not to bad as he planted his foot and got ready for a follow up attack by Knight. Jacob wasn't sure it was going to come quickly however as he saw the fatigue and pain in Knight's face.

Knight watched as Medics came in to try and check up on Knight before he pushed them away and got himself back into the ring. He forced his body to a stand and motioned for Griffin to come at him.

Jacob managed to recover some when the medics came to check Knight. Having gained back some of his wits Jacob entered the ring like Knight wanted, keeping his eyes locked on his opponent so he wasn't ambushed when he climbed in. If Knight didn't rush forward to attack then Jacob would get to his feet and comfortably get into a fighting stance.

Knight grabbed the bottom rope as he was breathing heavily before pulling himself up and into the ring. He was still in bad shape but slowly forced himself to a stand as he motioned for Griffin to come at him while he was in the corner.

Griffin wondered how much Knight had left in the tank, and he was going to test it as he walked forward such as Knight wanted. Griffin was waiting for an attack from Knight and kept that in the back of his mind as he approached his opponent. Knight was surely to attack the moment he was in range so Jacob had to be careful.

The moment Jacob started walking towards Knight, he bursted out of the corner, appearing to go for a clothesline, till he went in a dive position. He seemed to be trying for a front chop-block.

As Knight rushed from the corner Jacob readied himself for an attack. Jacob feel hook, line, and sinker for the fake clothesline as the chop block sent him flipping over Knight and on to his back. That was a great move by Knight and kept Jacob down for the time being.
