Heidi's experience only extended as far as yesterday, but the girl was always curious. It was all up to her, right? He'd said she wanted to try something new to tell him. What was 'something new'? What did that even mean? Maybe she could find out later. Later, when they'd done actual..uh...bro things.
Bro things that didn't involve kissing.
She sat up, her lips pressing together to stop herself from kissing him again, and pat his chest. "R-right. Um. Yes. Stop distracting me from kicking your a**. I see what you're doing, this is all part of your plan." Because Heidi totally wasn't the one in control here. Nope. He did this. All of this was his doing, she hadn't asked or initiated any of their kisses. None. Nope.
They were bros. Just bros.
Heidi finally moved to get off the bed, combing her fingers through her hair and picking her back up off the floor. She was glad she'd packed an outfit that wasn't the dress. "Breakfast then spar or spar first breakfast after?" Back to business as usual. Bros doing bro things together like spar and train and chill. Like manly men. Yup.

The manliest men indeed.
Tuck just gave Heidi all of the goofiest grins as he watched her get up off of the bed. He wished he knew what was going on in that head of hers sometimes, but then again...
He sat up in bed and just kept on grinning like a daft idiot.
"An' I woulda gotten away with it," he chuckled.
"Food first. Starvin'," as if on cue his stomach gurgled, "an' then I'ma beat your a**. If you real nice to me I might let you steal some of my cereal without you havin' to worry if I'ma tickle you to death."
...
"Again."

"Yup, I'm the most meddling kid there is. Too bad I don't have a dog." She picked Matilda's totem up off the bedside table and put her on her ear, looking back at Tuck as he threatened to tickle her to death again. That was a very serious threat. "Yeah, well, I know how to fight back now," Heidi spoke ominously, eyes wide and mouth set in a firm line. It's on. "But I guess I can be super extra special nice to you~. But only 'cause you asked nice."
Her converse were slipped on for now instead of actually worn properly. There would be time for such things later. "Let's meet up in the cafeteria then. I gotta brush my teeth and stuff." And she was not changing in front of Tuck. Usually Heidi didn't care but the very idea of changing in front of Tuck had her blushing with embarrassment.
"..Are you ticklish?"

Tuck merely grinned at the little blonde, arms crossed over his wide chest. He wanted to know what caused that new blush to rise over her cheeks, but Tuck didn't want to press the matter.
"You welcome to try an' see if I'm ticklish," Tuck's grin grew even broader, "but I ain't gonna tell you if I am or ain't." Might be fun watching her try to tickle him without her hair starting on fire. Why was she blushing? It was driving him crazy.
"Meet you at the cafeteria, then," he moved over to the wall where the poster he'd made was stuck, carefully pulling it down before folding it up so that he could hand it to her. "I need to shave so I might be a minute longer'n you."

Challenge accepted! Kind of. She would try when she had a chance but only when she had that chance. "I bet you are, I just gotta find it." But she still had a way of fighting back if he attacked her with tickles. She knew secrets now. Secrets.
Okay not really but she could pretend.
The poster was handed to her and she smiled, carefully hugging it to her chest so as not to crinkle it up too badly. "Thanks, Tuck. I'll see you in a bit then." Tuck received a hug after that, just a hug this time, before she left to get ready for the day. The poster was dropped off at her room before she stopped at the showers.
Heidi did make it to the cafeteria first and she even went ahead and set up their breakfasts just as Tuck had done for them the day before. For now her coat and scarf were draped on the seat next to her, finding it way too freakin' hot for that nonsense. Did they really have to wear coats on a Tropical island when summer was coming?! Ugh.

Tuck rolled into the mess hall, clean shaven and grinning. He'd changed into a black pair of tactical pants and a short-sleeved black shirt. His boots squeaked slightly on the floor as he half-jogged to where Heidi had set up the breakfast goods. As he sat in the seat across from Heidi, he shrugged out of his jacket and let it fall over the back of his chair before he piled his scarf into his jacket pocket.
Leaning on his elbows, Tuck nabbed a spoon.
"Mmmm, breakfast."

Tuck arrived and Heidi looked up and immediately grinned. "Hello to you, too." She giggled, finally eating now that he was here. Heidi tapped her foot under the table, watching Tuck as she ate. Were they spending the day together again? Was she spending another night with him? She wouldn't complain, but what if he got tired of her? Nah, that was silly. They were bros, bros didn't do that kind of stuff.
"We never really did our twenty questions," Heidi pointed out thoughtfully. "I guess adding dares was a bad idea~." She was mostly teasing. No regrets but she did like just talking to him. "..Aren't you hot in all that? I was practically melting on the way here." At least he had a t-shirt but even Heidi in her tank top, boots and jeans felt ready to die with her coat and scarf on. They'd come off halfway here and been carried the rest of the way.

"Good mornin', green eyes," Tuck slurped down some food, though he watched Heidi as he ate. This was the sort of routine he could get addicted to. Wake up with a pretty girl, eat with a pretty girl, spar with a pretty girl.
He pointed at her with his spoon, gazing at her with squinty eyes.
"I guess we didn't, did we - not that addin' dares was a bad idea, don't you even get me wrong, I'da done everythin' just the same."
A devilish look crept into his eyes.
"You want me t'spar you with no shirt on? You just gotta ask, Heidi. Just sayin', you might get distracted." Tuck chuckled roughly, dimpled grin etched on his lips, "Ain't hot. Heat don't bug me, really."

"Good morning, bright eyes~." Heidi grinned and stuck her tongue out at Tuck when he started watching her as well.
She agreed, adding dares wasn't a bad idea, but it had gone from questions to dares to making out. Heidi smiled helplessly, blushing again when he said he would've done everything the same. Everything? Really? She cleared her throat and sat up a little straighter. Bros. "Yeah, well, me too."
Distracted? Heidi choked on her cereal as she swallowed it the wrong way, putting her spoon down and turning away while she pat her chest. "I-I will not! S'just your shirt it's not like I haven't seen you without one." Twice. "Do it, I don't care. Not like it matters to me," Heidi said with a dismissive wave of her hand, picking up her spoon again and twirling it in her fingers. "I'm not really used to heat so...eh..not sure I'm a big fan of it." She shrugged and then set her spoon down to pick up her cereal bowl and finish drinking her milk.
"You can't distract me during a spar. I've got, like, epic game mode," Heidi lied through her teeth, wiping her mouth and pushing her empty bowl aside. "You're just scared I'm gonna kick your a**. If you want, we can do a punishment game for whoever loses." Punishment games weren't a big deal to Heidi. She did them with her friends off and on island for various reasons. They were fun.

Oh.
Okay.
He took his shirt off and scratched his chest. If she said it was no big, then it was no big. Just a naked chest, whatever.
And then he ******** choked on his cereal.
Punishment games? Was Heidi a freak? Somehow he didn't think so, but... freaks hid their freak pretty well.
After he dislodged the piece of food that was lodged in his throat, Tuck pushed his bowl away before leaning on the table.
"You mean like." Wait. What? "Spankin'? I mean, I ain't in to all that s**t, usually, but, I mean. If that's somethin' you want to work out, well. We can."

Heidi just stared.
She stared with the most comically horrified look on her face, eyes wide, jaw dropped, and face almost completely red with embarrassment. "N-NO!" Heidi finally choked out more intensely than she intended. She cleared her throat, shaking her head with that same face. "Nonononono! Not at all! L-like..something...tell the other to do something stupid! Like when I dyed Otto's hair! He'd refused a dare that's why I made it pink!" Spanking?! What?! No! Nothing like that! Oh god what had she done.
She'd made a horrible mistake.
She didn't even notice his shirt was off. She was too busy being completely embarrassed over his misunderstanding of what she had meant. "You think I'm some kind of dominatrix?" She'd only just had her first kiss last night!

Tuck leaned back in his chair laughing, holding his hands up.
"I was mostly teasin'. Mostly." He crossed his arms over his bare chest, still grinning at Heidi. Too ******** adorable. So ******** bro.
"Like I said, you the boss."
He rose to his feet.
"You ain't dyin' my hair pink, though. Executive decision."
Tuck grinned and reached for his shirt, jacket and scarf.
"You ready to spar or you just gonna sit here all day blushin'?"

Mostly. He was mostly teasing.
"I wouldn't do that to you," Heidi mumbled when he said he couldn't dye his hair. To be honest she probably wouldn't be able to even if she could, it was too dark for just any regular dye.
Huh? What? Heidi blinked and seemed to come back to reality when he asked about their spar. "I-I'm not blushing!" Yes she was. "Yeah, yeah. I'm coming." Heidi stood, grabbing her own coat and scarf. "Forget I said anything about the loser thing," Heidi pleaded with a pout of her lips, pushing her chair in before she started to head out for the training fields.
