Ahh, yeah. I'm in 2 RP stories on Barton Town and that's where I met Ember_Spirit and mutedsoul. We wanted a place where the members could more easily become a group instead of just random participants from the entire site. You could talk to either of them about their stories but personally I think Semora should move to the guild since it died again in BT.

Barton town is not exactly a sophisticated place, most of the good roleplayers have the same ideas as you, they've all joined guilds for it. And that really puts a damper of BT because there arn't any more literate roleplayers there. So now all you see is "OMG WTF HUMAN GIRLS STUCK IN VAMPIRE MANSION!"
I was browsing your firends role plays. You do things intrestingly here. I'm eager to see how your RP system works out. I've also never heard RPs be refered to as "stories" before. I need to read up on the back story for each and see which one I want to try.

When you say "your RP system" do you mean the guild / subforum setup or my personal creation?
I know what you mean about the girls in vamp mansions though. or forests. rolleyes I was so relieved to find Semora and then Shadow of the Moon. Then we all got to talking and decided what with the quality of players we were experiencing (post and disappear mostly) we should make a guild so the players can become a definite group.

Hello, I'm the one commonly known as lobo! ^.^ Me being in an RP could be a bit awkward especially if things started going fast because I have to deal with divorce visitations schedules and all that happy stuff, so my characters would end up being in and out a bit just to warn you...
So, I like reading and writing, and roleplaying. I'm trying to learn to DM for Dungeons and Dragons, but I'm still confused by all the charts and stuff half the time... but I'm actually okay at being a PC. Hmmm... anything else I should say? I can't think of anything right off...

I'm much better at being a PC. I'm the idea guy who looks at what we have to work with and how we can use that to our advantage. I can see all that when I'm a DM but I can't friggin' use any of that knowledge then. confused
Besides, I prefer the freedom of playing. wink

Ok, so my plans are more realistic but I do try to keep the party's spirits up. wink

Pshhh, a novella's like, 50,000 words or something. I forgot what since I was aiming a tad higher. razz
Anyway, welcome to the guild. mrgreen I do hope to get things running somewhat smoothly once we're set up, and that's what I'm taking the time to do now. (thus less time in other guilds)

*enters* So, um, I'm Fleshie, F.E.Z., Zombie, Akasha, "hey face!", anything you really want to call me. I haven't actually been in a RP since I was in about sixth grade. When I did role play I tried my best to be literate, and loved to create elaborate characters. I never really joined a long standing RP, ever. I'm seriously thinking of finding a good one on Gaia to jump into, however I can be really shy sometimes. redface I'm either trying to melt into the floorboards or jumping around on top of them. I love to write, and would love to help anyone needing help with any manuscripts. I'm not a great editor for grammatical error, but if you want me to read through your story for context and meaning, I'm on it. I love to read others work. Its inspiring. ^^ *waves* So, yes, hello!

I didn't know if you were into RPs when I invited you, but I know you're good at writing. If you wish to join a story, look at the Celestial Shadows or Semora subforums as those two are currently active. the Celestial Shadows roleplays are actually located in Barton Town but you can get the info and links here on the guild. Semora has just today been resurrected here on the guild if you'd like to submit a character for approval.

ummm i suppose i should introduce myself... well it took savant a long time to get me on here but now that i have the net at home i can waste my time here now biggrin (YAY!) anyway im not much of a writer or anything but i am a DM with years of exp smile wich is why savant has been trying to get me on here so that i can get a adventure going that he can play since he moved and we cant play at the table anymore smile
