In some way, Lazarus was stunned speechless when he found out that his guess was correct. He just scrubbed Xiu's wings inch by inch as he listened to the tale. The fire Sigel was sure that was the shorten version of the whole story, maybe later he could make Xiu tell more once they settled down. And to be honest, it still felt kind of surreal that the white Sigel was talking again. Sure it was not the first time he spoke, but he had been mute for a few years, it will take some time to get used to it again. Only now did Lazarus realized that Xiu is so talkative, for a brief moment he wondered how did Xiu managed to keep that all in when he couldn't talk.
"I know Cesc." He smiled as he worked around a groove on Xiu's wing, the soot came off easy enough. "I met him a little more than a week ago at a park, nice fellow." And he is eternally grateful to the Frei now for helping Xiu finding back his voice. Maybe he could visit Vivi's bakery some time in the near future to thank him, maybe even with Xiu. Preoccupied with scrubbing a stubborn charring on the tip of Xiu's wing, he missed the sentence that Xiu whispered, but the embarrassed laughter brought his attention back to the other. "Maybe you could tell me the full tale in detail afterwards, face to face, when we're done here." He chuckled.
Before he knew it, he had reached the scapular area of Xiu's wings. The soot was easy enough to clean off, just some of the charring at the edges when Xiu probably scrapped his wings on burning wood were more stubborn. Squeezing a fresh batch of liquid soap into the pouf, he started scrubbing around the base of Xiu's wings, and while he's at it, Xiu's back too.
However, as he moved the shower pouf up Xiu's back, he couldn't help but stare. The pale flawless skin, the gentle curving of the spine, the soft flesh... they were all so close to him. Red eyes seemed transfixed as his movement with the pouf slowed as well. Lazarus wasn't sure what he was thinking, but at that moment, he just wanted to do one thing. Reaching out with his free hand, he gingerly touched Xiu's back with his fingers. To feel the other's smooth skin directly with his own skin, to feel the flesh dimpled as he moved his finger along the side of Xiu's spine.

Xiu was aware of a dull sensation coming from his wings as Lazarus continued to wash them. Having your wings made of stone did not help much in providing sensitivity. For a moment the white Sigel was quiet as he mused over the day’s events. What has happened and even what was happening now felt surreal. The Sigel was rather inclined to believe that this was simply an odd dream.
However, that thought dissipated the moment he felt the coarse surface of the pouf move over his bare skin. It seems that the Fire Sigel was done cleaning his wings and was now moving on to his back. Xiu felt himself blushing. This act felt…so intimate and…exciting and…rather nice....
But when the touch of Lazarus’s finger was felt against his bare back, Xiu couldn’t help but shudder slightly at the sensation. Lazarus’s touch was deliberate and strong and it made his spine tingle as it moved across his back. For a moment the Sigel was stuck. Should he move away? Should he stay?
Slowly, so as not to hit Lazarus or any of the toiletries by mistake, Xiu gingerly folded his wings back and turned to face Lazarus. The other was wearing an expression that was similar to a child that had been caught with his hand in the cookie jar. Giving Lazarus an amused smile, Xiu floated closer until their bodies were only inches apart. There was just the briefest of pause before Xiu leaned up and tenderly placed a kiss onto Lazarus' lips. Not because someone told him to but because he wanted to.

Slightly alarmed, Lazarus jerked his hand away when Xiu folded his wings, even took a step or two back, his ribbon brushing against the wall of the stall. True enough, his expression was one of shock and slight guilt as Xiu turned to look at him. He must have broken so many taboos with the other by touching him like that. But for some reason, he doesn't regret it. It was his turn to have his mind race as he tried to read Xiu's expression. Would he be angry? Is he teasing when he smile like that? Would he get hit?
But when Xiu reached up and their lips meet, all of Lazarus's thoughts came to a complete halt. The kiss was tender, his lips were so soft. Closing his eyes and feeling bold, probably echoing the white Sigel's boldness today. Lazarus kissed back as he cupped Xiu's face with one hand, holding him close, and wrapped the other around Xiu's waist, closing the gap between their bodies.
It was a sensation like he had never felt before. He could feel Xiu's body heat through his skin as they touched, the kiss intensifies as he parts his lips, only separating briefly for air before they meet once more. It was so exhilarating, so exciting, as they explored new areas of their bodies. Once more, Lazarus felt a fluttering tingling feeling in his stomach, like that time when they were kissing in the secret garden, only intensified. And odd enough it seemed to try to go lower this time.

Lazarus’s kiss was strong, passionate. Xiu felt his heart racing as the other pulled him close; so close that their bodies were touching one another. Never before had he felt such intimacy as this. There were no barriers, no restrictions. Only love and…longing…
Tenderly Xiu placed his hands onto Lazarus’ shoulder as their kiss intensified. Beyond the passionate kisses and gentle caresses was the subtle scent of desperation and craving bubbling deep within the white Sigel. While his guardian had brought him up to the best of her capabilities without worry or want, being born with the features and mentality of a young teenager had placed certain barriers onto their relationship. Hazeline had always treated him as a capable young adult; even more so after he had grown into a Sigel. And Xiu could probably have gone on living that life…
Until Lazarus came and took away the loneliness he never knew he had. With Lazarus around, his responsibilities seemed to have become much lighter, his speech much less formal and his laughter more frequent. Lazarus was the person who showed him that there was more beyond duty and honour, responsibility and respect…
Leaning his head against the crook of Lazarus’s shoulder once their kiss had ended, Xiu gave a soft sigh of contentment. The world, at that moment in time, seemed pretty perfect.

Lazarus was contented as well after the kiss had ended, his hand still resting on Xiu's lower back as the other leaned against his shoulder. His expression right now was one of drunken in love, his eyes half lidded and a giddy grin plastered on his face, still recalling the kiss they just had, and the intimacy they both felt. His cheeks were glowing pink, but he didn't mind at all, no one is here except Xiu to see it. And he was sure the white Sigel is blushing too. His heart was still beating fast at the memories, but it slowly calmed as they savored the peaceful moment.
Off hand, as he slowly caressed Xiu's back, he could feel the shampoo and foam from Xiu's hair slowly flowing down. Lazarus knew that they haven't actually finished their shower yet, his hair was still shampooed, and it seemed like Xiu haven't really washed off all the shampoo from his hair too. So a little reluctantly, he gently pushed Xiu off of him. "Maybe we could do that again later?" He grin cheekily before Xiu could say anything. "We should finished cleaning up first."
Still smiling, he headed under the showers and pulled Xiu with him, chuckling as he washes Xiu's hair for him.

Xiu blushed at Lazarus’s cheeky suggestion. It seemed unbelievable that what happened just now had in fact really happened. Smiling shyly at Lazarus, Xiu chuckled softly. “Perhaps,” said the white Sigel, his tone slightly teasing. But even if nothing occurred after this, the white sigel was satisfied.
Floating back a little to give Lazarus room, Xiu hunched a little when Lazarus reached out to wash his hair. It was a new, sweet and touching gesture to the white Sigel. Admittedly a lot of the things that had happened today were new to him but of the lot, the shower with Lazarus had been the most enjoyable.
For a while, the Sigel just floated as Lazarus washed his hair. Blue eyes gazed at the other with silent adoration. Then mirroring Lazarus’ action, Xiu reached up and began rinsing the suds off Lazarus’ hair. No words were exchanged but it was clear that the two raevans could not have been more in love with each other.
