The apprehension was almost unbearable for Niadra. Would she finally have a friend to travel with her? Someone she could tell her secrets too? Someone that was always around? Sure she had always imagined it would be Nyiim that traveled around with her, but more and more she thought that was less likely to happen. Plus, although he might see her as a friend Niadra didn't see him that way. Senja would be just a friend.
She watched Senja interact with her siblings and felt a small pang of jealousy for a second. Her mother had only had one child, her, and didn't plan on ever having any more either. She had always wondered what it would be like to have a sibling.
When Muskier agreed to go talk to her family Niadra beamed. This was really about to happen! When he left the room she grabbed Senja happily. "Do you think he will! Oh I hope so. My father is very very good at convincing people of things! she said excitedly. This was going to change EVERYTHING!

Sejna laughed and grabbed Niadra's hand to drag her about. "While we wait for my Da, let me show you about the place! You can tell me stuff about the troupe too! There's not too much to do here in town, but there's some shops and stuff.. plus since you're up here we can just travel on the tree limbs so you don't have to climb up and down all the time!"
She bounced out the door and pulled Niadra along the walkway outside.
"My house is over here!"

Niadra smiled and laughed as she was willingly dragged about by Sejna. "That sounds good to me! Plus if your dad does let you come with us we will be leaving soon, so that means you might want to say bye to people soon! Though that's getting ahead of ourselves a little." she said laughing again. She was sure that Sejna's dad was going to say yes. He just had too!
Niadra nodded. "Yeah now that I'm in the trees I should manage, it's the up and down part that is the hardest." Niadra was happy they didn't have to go back down yet. Plus, she really needed the practice in the trees with her balance. It would help with her dancing. When Sejna pointed out her house Niadra looked in that direction. "Do you want to go and show me, or will we get forced to do chores if we go there." she asked. "Take me where ever you want! I haven't been in many villages, well I haven't had the chance to have a look around like this I mean. So where ever you want to go I want to go!" she said excitedly.

Senja giggled, "We can't go to my house! I've skipped out on chores this morning and Ma will make me do them if we go there!" Where to go? Oh! Maybe Niadra would like to see the Dance Halls?
"We have some large round houses where people perform, want to go there? They should be done with any concerts or practices right now, so we'll be able to explore it."

Niadra smiled and laughed. She knew what the was like, to skip out on chores. Even though she didn't have a stable home she still had chores to do. If anything she might have more then others did. Yeah! If they don't have anything maybe the two of us can dance around? It could be like your good bye dance?" she suggest as she looked around. She wondered where exactly this houses were. She looked for the biggest homes that she could see but was unsure where they were.

A goodbye dance? That sounded fun! Plus since it was her last one here for a while, she wouldn't get as many critiques? Hopefully...
She giggled and twirled, "Sounds fun! The dancing stages are a little further inside. This way!" She dashed off suddenly, though she made sure that Niadra wouldn't lose sight of her. As she ran lightly along the treetop roads, houses came into view, suddenly appearing from the leafy background then vanishing again. Her neighbors liked to have competitions on who's house hid best. She'd always found it rather amusing especially since her brother's loved to participate. She lead Niadra to one building that didn't hide as much. It was much too large to hide anyways. Once they entered, the drab brown and green outside vanished and was replaced by brightly decorated walls and floors.
"Here's one of the main ones! I think the owner will let us dance, plus maybe we can convince a few of the musicians to play for us! They do favors for you if you flirt a little." Senja giggled at the thought. She usually had good luck in convincing them.. a little flirting always helped!

As she followed Senja she had to make sure she kept up, all the pretty houses and how they hid in the trees was so intriguing to her. She had seen places like this before, but never so close to her. After what seemed like an adventure a large building came into view. She was sure that it had to be something important from the way that it wasn't hidden like the others, though from the outside it didn't seem all that different.
Once they were inside she smiled, oh yes this was a happy place. When Senja mentioned flirting she raised one eyebrow and put one arm though Senja's. "Well lead the way, I'm sure the two of us can convince them to play us a song or two." she said with a mischievous laugh.

Senja smiled as she and Niadra linked arms and walked inside. She managed to locate the owner and get permission as well as the information on the location of some musicians. Skipping along, she and Niadra found a few nice boys who willingly came along and they all set up in one of the main dance halls. Senja was showing off to Niadra (and the boys, they were cute after all) some of the dances she knew when he father walked in. He waited with a smile as he watched her finish.
Clearing his throat he grabbed their attention.
"Well, Senj, I've talked it over and they are willing to accept you and I can't find fault with tier troupe.. so I'll let you go with them, only on the condition that you send letters home to let us know you're okay!" He gave Senja a stern look as he said the last words. His little girl was ready to go out and spread her wings a little, but he didn't want any of his children to leave the nest! But, he'd left home at her age, so it was only fair to let Senja explore the world a little...
Senja jumped up and down with glee and grabbed Niadra's hands. "I can go! I can go!" She squeaked with excitement, the biggest adventure ever was now all hers to enjoy! She was being allowed to go outside with a traveling troupe of dancers and musicians! So exciting! Turning to her father she ran and gave him a big hug. "I'll send home letters, Promise! Thanks Da for letting me go!"

Niadra was clapping as Senja finished danced. Yes although she knew there was much that they could teach Senja, from the looks of it there were quite a few things that she would be learning from Senja. She hoped dearly that Senja would be able to come with them, ever time she did a step that Niadra didn't know the desire became greater.
She was about to suggest to Senja that she show the girl a few steps to a dance they did she heard Senja's father clear his throat and turned to listen to him. This was the moment of truth. As he spoke she couldn't help but feel pride. Of course he couldn't find fault with their troupe! They were the best in all the land!
When Senja jumped down Niadra hugged her tightly. "I'm so excited!!" she said before releasing Senja and watching her hug her father. Niadra went and did the same, hugging her father tightly. "Thank you! Thank you!" she said happily. Finally she had a friend to travel the roads with her!

Senja hugged Niadra back. "I'm going to get to travel! Oh thank you Da! I'll make sure to send back letters when possible, promise!"
She dragged Niadra with her as she ran back to her house to start packing and tell the rest of her family the news. Any upset thoughts she had that morning were gone. She may not be a better singer than her little sister, but she was going to get to travel with her new friend! She'd have to ask Niadra what to pack and how much to take. She didn't want to take everything after all, that would be too much stuff! But definitely some of her jewelry and better clothes.. maybe some make up? Oh! And her instruments and all sorts of things!
