Yaholo blinked and flushed red. You weren't supposed to drink with giant nut shells? Well, darn, there goes half of his logic on survival! He smiled as he was handed the spare cup and took a deep breath as the tea was poured. It smelled amazing! The herbs that Biroki had used must have been special or something, the aroma was just too nice to be ordinary herbs!
"Thank you very much!" He chirped, just before taking a sip. It was pretty hot, but bearable, and it tasted wonderful! "It's wonderful! I might need to ask for the recipe, my step-mother adores tea and she would love this!" Then, he paused, and chuckled. "Oh, and I think I've neglected to introduce myself, my name is Yaholo. What's yours?"

Biroki blushed and grinned, relaxing a little as he drank his own cup- he liked it hot, of course, befitting a flame mage.
"Y-you're welcome" he said, happily. He would have to figure out the recipe himself- he normally played it by ear and scent. Well, more by scent. You can't hear herbs.
"My name's Biroki. I'm a flame mage. Of the shifter tribe." which was obvious because he was a shifter and he shouldn't have said that. "I live in Ast." that at least narrowed it down.
"I'll... try to get you the recipe." he said, trying to remember everything he had put in there and the quantities. "I'll write it down when I make the next batch?" he offered. Maybe he would stay, and also it bought Biroki some time to remember what he had put in.
"I'm sorry again... about... uh... scaring you before." he said, kindly.

"It's nice to meet you, Biroki!" Yaholo chirped, before taking another sip of his tea. It was nice to meet new people, even if he met them by scaring them at first. Ha ha, he'd have to work on that! Not everyone was open to meeting him, he was a little scary!
"Oh, a flame mage?" He asked. "Is that like a healer? My step-mother's a Mystic, but she works as the village healer. I live primarily in Yera, in Tale, but I come here to visit Andile and play with a Youngling who's taken a liking to me." He chuckled. "I don't know why the kids like me but the adults could care less for me..."
He rubbed the back of his head as Biroki apologized and shook his head.
"Don't worry about it, I know I'm not the most welcoming face in the world." He replied. "But thank you very much for your hospitality! You're very kind."

Biroki frowned.
"N-no, a flame mage isn't that much like a healer... Healer's make people better. I make... uh... fire. And explosions." he explained, not quite willing to admit that he hurt people, and that was his job. He didn't like hurting people that much. While it was nice to be allowed to use his magic, he hoped that it didn't often come to using it to harm others.
"Maybe you're just, uh, likable." he said, smiling, "You s-seem like a nice guy"

Fire, explosions, yeah, not something a Healer would be best at, at least in Yaholo's mind. His step-mother did know how to make things explode and often added fuel to a fire if needed with magic, but otherwise, her hands were for healing, not harming.
"Likable?" He gawked, taken aback. He was... Likable? The idea caused his face to flush red. No one had ever told him that he was likable before... They were usually dead set on telling him the opposite. "T-thank you, Biroki. You're very kind yourself, you know. Offering a complete stranger tea, a half-breed no less..."
His words felt like concrete, but the weight was only something Yaholo could feel.

Pidgeons Go Meow X3 ((I think we can finish this up in a few posts, maybe one more from each of us))
"It was the least I could do after s-scaring you like that!" He didn't mention that he had served tea to strangers before.
He didn't really see Yaholo as a halfbreed either. Just as a very tall person who was really nice.
He nervously shuffled the herbs for the next round of tea, should they actually get to that.
"I think" he said, almost haltingly, "I think we could be friends..." It wasn't a long shot.

Yaholo fiddled with his teacup as Biroki spoke, before taking another quick sip. They had scared each other! Biroki didn't have to be so nice, but, then, neither did Yaholo. Maybe they were just different, instead of being rude to new comers, they were kind to them. Green eyes peered up from his cup, a bright smile on his face.
"I think so, too!" He exclaimed, nodding. "You can count on me if you ever need anything, okay?"

Biroki smiled and, for the first time that day, completely relaxed.
"The same goes for y-you as well!" he stammered happily.
He drank his tea as if to seal a pact, knowing it was the beginning of a great friendship.
