"I don't care what's important to him and you shouldn't either after that death threat he gave you. The guy wants to come after you're life. Isn't that why you beat him up? What's important to ME is not seeing you killed, so I'd like to be called in to help you and not to clean his carpets. Not only that, but Harrison came along, a guy I am trying to learn field first aid with, and now he thinks I care more about cleaning up than tending to anyone in serious need of medical attention. I could have helped, Rin."
He breathed out, frustrated and angry at what she had done. "Why did you even beat him up anyways? I thought you wanted to talk. You got yourself in trouble instead with attacking indoors."

"I don't care about the death threat. He was like a ******** brother to me. I didn't beat him up on purpose.. I.. I just wanted him to ******** listen," Rin wilted and held the pillow tighter. "I did just want to talk but he just... he doesn't want to listen. He doesn't want to ******** understand. He doesn't want to be okay with this." She wanted to explain why she called him for what she did, but it's a difficult thing to even try. Nothing personal Melvin, but she just couldn't let you.

He sighed at he looked away from her. "You should know violence doesn't make Rep understand. It makes him feel as if he has a way out rather than talking and listening. You fight, and he wins. It's how he deals with things. If he really wasn't going to kill you, you could have had the upper hand in not fighting him. If you take away any desire to fight, you leave Rep powerless. He doesn't get anything from fighting a person who doesn't fight back." He breathed out before lowering himself on the bed, reaching around to hold her and just press his face to the back of her over-sized sweater.
"Well it's done and over with anyways. Just...next time, ask for my help with something other than cleaning. Okay?" He held her a bit tighter. "..or I'll have to just come with."

"Hey now," Rin scolded lazily. "You're trying to tell the surgeon how to operate here." She wriggled in his grasp to shimmy around to face him. "I panicked okay, I didn't know what to do." She looked thoughtful for a moment, "Also thank you for trusting me to go alone." She cracked a smirk, "I hope you don't regret it?"

"Well you're not dead, so I guess I can't." That much. She did get in trouble, but he didn't think it would be that bad. It could have been a lot worse. "Does your head hurt?"

"Mmmm... it hurts a lilll...," She completely exaggerated. She hadn't felt it at all after Rep was taken to the infirmary and even when it did hurt, she was too distracted to really notice.

He reached out with a gloved hand and ran his fingers through her hair to lightly touch the top of her head. He didn't feel anything, but that didn't mean it didn't hurt. "I can bring back some ice if you want. Do you want me to bring you something to eat?" He asked, not sure by Rin's attitude if she wanted to just stay in his bed all day.

"I don't need ice but breakfast sounds lovely~," Rin felt lucky as hell right now. But it still didn't come close to making up for... She moved to wriggle back under the covers.

If she ate in his bed, he'd have to change his sheets again. She had to get out of his bed for him to change them at some point, he hoped.
The mattress creaked as he got up and out and went over to put his shoes on. "I'll be back in a bit then. Just don't fall asleep by the time I get back or I'm going to dump the ice on you." He warned her, and after tying his laces, got up and went to the door.
There was a soft click as it shut behind him.

Rin watched Melvin get ready and go from just above the edge of the covers. She looked comfy already.
