“Come on, Kaiya! You're moving slower than a Gastrodan on land!” cried Tin as he yanked the mortified teen forward. Her green skin glistened with sweat as she clung tightly to her chest in an odd crouch, wobbling slowly forward looking like an odd upright turtle with the way she moved. Who could blame her? She was forced into a skimpy outfit that showed more skin than she would care for and forced to an area that seemed so desolate to her by children who were leading her around with the use of false hopes. No one on the beach could look more miserable now than Kaiya. Or more out of place with how shyly she hid herself.
“What is this stuff!?” she cried in shock as her feet sank into sand for the first time. “Why is it so gritty a-and weird feeling? You two promised me a forest!” If she was a weaker woman, she would've broke down and cry. Arceus must be frowning on her or slinging curses her way for her to have this much misfortune. Kaiya whispered curses beneath her breath before sinking down to her knees.
“Kaiya?” questioned Embrez, she tried to reach out in a comforting manner, but her hand was swatted away by the angered Grovyle.
“Just leave me. Do whatever you kids do...” She buried her face into her knees and huffed, searching for her happy place as she waved a hand towards the sea. “Just let me breath.”
Embrez took her cue from Kaiya and quickly grabbed Tin's hand and hauled him towards the water's edge. “Come on! Let's go!” Carefully, she held up her tail to keep the water from dousing her fire as she splashed throughout the whitewash with Tin.
Kaiya sat on the beach. Her eyes focusing on the grains of sand between her toes, pondering what they were made of while trying to ignore the mass amount of people at the beach. She didn't know how to handle people especially this many at once. Everything just seemed so overwhelming...

Alohi froze up, eyes widening as Bellatrix surprised her. She stumbled backwards, falling flat on her butt. “Oh hi,” giggled Alohi nervously. “I-It wasn't me. I didn't just eat that fish and leave the bones behind... Nope. Alohi is a very good girl.” She wiggled around, unsure if she should run or not. Maybe this lady was nice and give her more food. This little Poke-girl was soooo hungry. Batting her big eyes innocently as she pouted, Alohi added. “You won't tell on me? Will you? That other lady seemed pretty angry about what I did.” She rubbed her belly that rumbled angrily in turn. “I was really hungry.” Here's to hoping~

Cecily tilted her head, frowning a little as she tried to listen and understand. It was hard to do when she was so scared, but she tried. Hesitantly, she crept out from under the chair and flew up, up until she was level with (not?) Brennan's head. With a wide-eyed expression, she reached out and tapped one of his antennae with a hand. It... okay, that much looked right, but - but what had happened to him? A star? How could a star do this?
But - but maybe. Maybe this was why he hadn't come home? He hadn't been captured? He hadn't left her because - because he was mad at her? Swallowing, Cecily stared, backing a few feet away so that she could get a good look at the whole of this person who claimed to be - who maybe was - her brother.
And then, heaving a deep breath, her little face crumpled up and she launched herself at Brennan's chest like a small pink rocket, smacking into him and grabbing on to his chest in the closest thing to a hug she could manage. "I th-thought you - you left meeeeeee!" She wailed, bursting into tears as she tried desperately to hug every part of the pokéhuman celebi she could reach.

Renee stepped onto the shores and stopped every so often to see her footprints. She didn't mind the sun but she minded the water. If she was to step into the water she would either get short circuited or she wold electrocuted. With her being a pokemon of electricity. She sat down on the sand and watched the sun's rays reflect off the surface and watched the others mingle. She was hoping to make some new friends on this outing. Lately, she hadn't made any friends.

Brenny was confused. He looked down at her, slowly shaking his head. She'd thought he'd left her? But that wasn't right. He had been the one to wake up alone. He'd struggled with the cold, and with hunger in his search for her. And she'd thought he'd left her? "You left me," he said. "Don't you remember? It wasn't long after we argued about whether I should be interested in human things or not in the clearing. But when I woke up, you were gone. You left. I looked for you for a long, long time. Then I found Connie, he's my Daddy." He put a hand gently on her back, careful of the pink celebi's wings.
"Now I've finally found you," he said, brightening. "Now I can finally ask what I've been meaning to all this time. My Daddy has a home in the city--" he pointed in the direction of the city vaguely, "and we could take care of you! I want us to be a family again, Cecily! And maybe Cam can teach you, he teaches me things, like how to swim! And maybe he and Urban will buy you ice cream. There are a lot of nice people here. You just have to give them a chance." And now that he was bigger than she was, he would be able to protect her better. "I'll make sure no one hurts you."

Timmy blinked, looking up at Cam. "Let's go surf," he said, pointing to the waves. Hopefully while they were surfing, Cam wouldn't focus on the girls on the beach. Hopefully that focus would solely be on him. "Come on, Cam. Let's go surf. These guys are busy with--whatever they're doing. Maybe we can find something to eat after."

"No," Cecily said, wiping tears from her eyes with one hand as she clung to the bigger form of Brennan with the other. "I w-woke up and - and you were gone, you w-were - you'd taken th-that picture and -" She hiccuped, choosing to ignore his praises of the scary beings for the moment because her brother was okay. "I th-thought someb-body captured you, t-took you from me!"
But... maybe he wasn't okay? Cecily sniffled again and closed her eyes, trying to console herself that he was here, he was okay --- but he was different, different and the same and - and - humans, and - she didn't want to argue about humans right now; she just wanted to not be alone. Just for a little while. That was...
That was okay, wasn't it?

Cam listened to and watched the reunion between Brenny and his sister, glad to see they'd found one another, and he reached out to gently squeeze Brenny's shoulder. "I'm going to give you two some space to talk and work things over. I promised Timmy here how to surf. It was nice to meet you Cecily, I hope to see you around more often."
Cam shifted the straps of the bags as well as his board and Timmy's and moved away from the suddenly somewhat crowded area and looked for an emptier spot a short distance away from the throng.
"How about here?" he stuck the boards into the sand and began to lay stuff out. Towels...and sunblock. An umbrella though not beach sized but still not overly small and would cast just enough shade to keep them from totally burning if they laid out.
"Alright lets get you coated in sunblock, and me as well, and we'll go out to the water." Timmy's plan was working, Cam was utterly focused on him now.

Noble came to a pause near the gathering, and was able to figure out it was some sort of come one, come all beach party. Well that was interesting, and could be fun to learn about...but boy was he sweltering in his long sleeves and pants!

Pyry was glad he was in shorts and a tank top, but even with that, he was overly hot, and trying to find shade, his skin didn't like the sun beating down on it, and he had no clues about sunblock. So he sat in the shade of the food table looking utterly miserable...and pink.

A very wet Ryder pulled himself out from the ocean, stumbling across the foamy sand. He reached up to squeeze the water out of his sopping wet clothes before miserably sighing. “I hate salt water.” It was times like this that made him wonder why he was a pirate in the first place. Moving his gaze to land, he sighed even harder. The beach was heavily populated. More so than he was expecting. He shrugged his shoulders and made an attempt to blend in with the crowd, but he still seemed out of place. Probably because he was fully clothed. He ran a hand through his thick knotted hair as he scanned the beach for those in need. With this thick crowd, he wouldn't know who to talk to or who to help.

After sulking for long enough, she finally had the gulls to look up and around. There were a lot of people mingling and laughing. Running and playing near the water's edge or surfing the waves. She sighed. “Might as well try.” she grumbled and growled. The Grovyle got up to make her way down to the sea when something caught her eyes. From the corner of her eyes she caught a rather burnt looking ice Pokemon hiding beneath some tables. It became a battle of wills to go over there and help the boy or keep her hands free of anymore pesky brats.
Her better part won out and she trudged over to Pyry wearing something akin to a snarl, muttering complaints under her breath even as she was kneeling before the boy. It was when she was eye level with him that she managed to sigh and attempt a kindly smile. Reaching into the small pouch that she always carried with her around her neck, she pulled out a salve and held out her hand. “Here, this should help soothe the burns and the pain.” She hoped to all hell that she didn't just scare the crap out of this kid. Why wouldn't he be freaked? A stranger just popped out of the blue probably looking like she was going to kill him and is now cornering him with some odd goo. Yep, she definitely knew how to handle the situation...
“Don't worry. It won't melt your flesh or anything and it'll protect you from the sun.” she tried, “Don't know how well it'll work on Ice type though...I used it so my leaves don't wilt in the sun. Or the salt. Can't imagine salt is good for ice...” It took her a bit to realize that she was beginning to babble on. Arceus above she didn't not know how to deal with people. She really hope that this kid wouldn't run screaming away from her. Goodness knows that's the last thing she needed right now.

Pyry was huddled miserably, wondering how long it would take for the sun to go away he didn't like it here very well!
He was in the middle of some intense brooding when he realized there was someone standing over him, who didn't seem very happy and he shrank back at the unhappy look on her face blinking with bright glowing blue eyes wondering why she was so mad.
He watched her warily, wondering about her oddly shifting moods, but reached out for the stuff being held out to him. "Really? It'll help? The sun is so hot...didn't know it could get so hot." there was a softness to his voice and he began to carefully smear the salve on feeling relief starting in.
"Thank you so much!" he brightened up and held back out what was left. He'd tried not to use too much of it.

Her disposition towards the boy lifted once he said those two key words. Kaiya's composure seem to shift in that instance, her expression softening and become less severe. “Keep it. You'll need it more than I will.” she replied before dropping her fingers to the sand to play with a small exposed shell. Her mind was in a tizzy as she found herself feeling conflicted as her image of kids shifted in a hopeful direction. Maybe not all kids are total brats. This was a good sign. “The sun isn't too bad when you're a plant type though I suppose being an ice Pokemon, it'll do some damage. What you need is something to keep the sun away – and I think I've got the thing.”
Reaching into the leaf blades along her elbow, she pulled out a sapling. Drawing from her own special source of power, she grew it out into a large leaf that was big enough to give the boy enough shade to keep from getting burned more. “Here,” offered Kaiya as she held out the plant. “Shade you can take with you where ever you go.” She plopped herself down on the sand, bringing her legs close to her chest to give herself a place to rest her chin. “Names Kaiya. What's yours?”

Oh good...she wasn't quite as angry and frankly scary as she'd seemed upon coming up to him. That helped Pyry relax a little as well. Her telling him to keep the stuff made him smile brighter and he slipped it into his pocket. "Thank you!" well he was very thankful honestly! "It is a little too hot here...too bright. Learning new things, and about new places is good...but not if they're like this."
There was a slight frown to his lips at this really. Though he looked up at her curiously, wondering what she was getting at.
His eyes went wide as she pulled a leaf from herself, wincing some...didn't that hurt!? They went wider still as she made it grow and there was an awed "Ohhh wow! Thank you so much!!' He took the leaf and held it over himself visibly relaxing being in the shade like this.
"I'm Pyry, its really nice to meet you miss Kaiya." Escher had done well teaching the boy manners!

Miss Houndoom? Now, there was a first! She could count the amount of times she'd been called a "Miss" on one paw! Solange watched him walk off, content to sit next to a little Chatot, and with a shake of her head, grin in place, she turned back to the girls.
"I may even bring a friend with me; he's kind of new in town, and is in desperate need of a hobby." She laughed, and shook her head. Her "brother" had recently cropped back up in her life, and his annoying tendencies...they would put a Saint in jail. Her eyes didn't leave Reshi, though, and soon enough she was shaking a spatula at the Chatot, and the kid, "Hey! Whatever you touch, you eat, and it if lands on the sand, you'd better have a taste for it."
Solange straightened her shoulders, and gave a little wave at Mijumaru, with an "Eat up!" to follow it before she took Crystal's hand for a shake. "Nice to meet you, Crystal. My name's Solange."
By this point, Mitsuru's only saving grace was the fact that she could touch the bottom of the water with her toes. Otherwise she would have drown long ago! "You're very welcome! I'm really glad you go to come! And- Wait, did you say you have Daddies? Like, two?" The way she said it, with her eyes wide and her mouth open on an excited gasp, it was if the concept was both foreign, AND amazing! "Thanks! And you have a cool leaf, so we match!"

Brenny wasn't sure how to react to Cecily's obvious bit of ignoring the important subject at hand, and crossed his arms around the pink celebi. "Cecily," he said clearly, "I asked you if you want to come stay with me and Daddy. You'll have all the friends you could ever want. I have a pet, even! Her name's Mei. I've made a lot of friends by looking for you, I know they'll all want to meet you and see that you're okay. I can even tell Carwyn we don't need the flyers for you anymore." He paused, moving to gently stroke his sister's back, careful of her wings. "Please come, Cecily. I'm sure you'll be happy with us!" He was sure of it. If she'd come all the way to the beach from the forest--possibly in search of food or shelter, there must have been something wrong. Weren't there enough berries for the little pink celebi?
"Daddy's like us," he continued. "He's not human. He's a tauros--and he's really nice! And if you came, we could protect you..." He'd never understood his sibling's fear of humans--or really, anything new. She'd been afraid of him, too, and he certainly wasn't human. You can make friends, and we'll be a family again." If she didn't acknowledge his question a second time, Brenny felt he would understand. Maybe she didn't want to live with them. That would be okay, wouldn't it? He had Mei, after all. And soon they would have enough money for that video camera.

Timmy beamed. His plan was working! "Okay," he agreed. "I don't want to end up sunburnt like the day you found me," he grinned at the memory. He'd been a frightened thing then, but he'd improved daily. "Maybe I'll be as good as you are at surfing!" he exclaimed excitedly. He pulled out the sunblock from Cam's bag, and offered it to the zebstrika. "Does it work even in the water?" he asked, tilting his head slightly.
He wondered how it could work, when it got wet. And he wondered if the water would be cold--and if he'd like it. He seemed to have a natural dislike for anything particularly wet--but if Cam was with him, everything would be fine.

Cam couldn't help smile at Timmy's happy smile. He loved that the Skitty boy was all smiled. "No, we definitely don't want you all sunburned again now do we? That took some time to get over."
He ruffled Timmy's hair in amusement. "You could be if you practice. We'll work on it together and get you really good promise." he took the sunblock and laughed. "For awhile. We'll have to put more on after awhile but it works."

Noble at this point had opted to remove the shirt and stuffed it into his bag, spying the shorts he'd forgotten he owned and found a bathroom to change into them.
When he stepped back out he didn't feel quite as miserable really, and decided to go investigate this gathering.

Renee huffed a bit as the shores got more crowded, she padded on the beach shore looking around for someone she knew. She frowned lightly when she didn't find anyone, she would need to make some new ones no doubt but that wasn't going as planned "hmmm..." She said
