All of my writing has third person perspective. I switch between main characters, because I want the readers to experience everyone's perspective on the situation.
The only writing I've done that has first person is my Kingdom Hearts Fan Fiction. All of my other works switch between characters.
It depends on your writing style. If you want the readers to understand just the main character, put them in that character's head and do first person.
