Erionda
Erionda's eyes narrowed miserably on the scene below her. She knew the consequences of setting foot in pure Orderite territory. She was a Dovaa, and likely to be pointed out the moment eyes fell on her horns. After that, it wouldn't be long until several of the blasted "Holier than thou" being's raised their weapons towards her. Snorting Erionda crouched near the edge of the cliff she poised carefully on. Her mind whizzing.
There was a possibility she could simply attach her shield and sword to Lanzecki. And travel with her companions to the Dovaa camp. With a cloak covering her hair and adding shade to her face so all they could see where her horns. She would likely be able to exist easier in the "Favored beings" presence. Unless someone decided to yank her hood off. Huffing Rio brushed several strands of hair behind her shoulder. She wouldn't put it past the selfish Dovaa to demand to see her whole face. Even then, she could admit something went wrong with her clan choice and she preferred to dye her hair. She had seen another Dovaa running about with a much more florescent color of hair than she had.
Turning her head to Uassae Erionda blinked. Do you think it's possible any of our friends are on the battle field. I know Jun and Kilian have been on Eowyn for a while. Do you think they are still here? A sudden pain swelled in her chest. What if one of them had been mortally wounded. Uassae's healing capabilities were more than essential.
The large Drakein gave his bonded a long hard look. His blue eyes watching her before extending his wings out to show her he understood. Remain here with Lanzecki. He's big enough now some power should get through that thick head of his. I'll search the battle field.
With a great swoop Uassae lifted his form over the two legged being's below. The carnage was almost more than the soft male could bare. Wincing as his blue eyes found the edge of the Dovaa battle grounds. Landing on the ground with some care, Uassae paced through the dead bodies. He knew Rio would feel relieved that he had not found either one dead. Taking flight again as several knew battles surged around him.
Hovering low to the battle, his shadow rising and falling over the land bodies and Dovaa. Giving a loud croon as he caught sight of Junjie. Landing to give him a gentle nuzzle, the large Aedaun Drakein jumped suddenly to the side. His head lowering at the oncoming Dovaa. His lips rippling and rising into a snarl before taking to the air back towards Rio.
I found Junjie. Uassae pronounced as he flew by the small rocky ground Erionda was perched on. Follow me.
Erionda's head snapped up from where she was currently watching several Orderites below her. She had spent the time with Uassae gone attaching her weapon and shield on Lanzecki. Flipping her hood over her head so only her horns protruded into view. Giving her the look of a true Dovaa. Lead me. Erionda demanded leaping into hot pursuit with Lanzecki quickly behind her.

Junjie
Junjie was walking along the edge of the Dovaa camp, a curious look on his face, as he took everything in. The Dovaa were a rather interesting looking group, weren't they? All of them had various different coloration, different horns, all of them quite amazing, making him want to reach out to them, wanting to get a closer look at them, to learn more about them, but he supposed that asking a bunch of questions of them would seem kind of odd, huh? Best that he try to play it cool, figure out what was going on, and offer his help where might be needed before he was on his way before. That was the plan at least, until he heard what sounded like flapping sounds, "Ahh... hm?" Junjie lifted his gaze up to look toward the sky, seeing Uassae there. The big Drakein landed near to him before nuzzling against him, something that surprised him a little, "Uassae?"
He lifted a hand to stroke it against the big Drakein's neck, giving a smile, "Where is Erionda? Is she here too? What are you..." He trailed off when he heard Uassae start to growl, looking him a little curious, "Hey, what is it?" He asked, his body tensing up when he heard the sound of something approaching him. Perhaps he'd spent too much time hunting dragons that the sound of something rushing up behind him made him tense? Expecting danger he took a deep breath, doing his best to keep himself under control, before he and Abellio both turned in unison, toward the one that Uassae was growling at.
As he did so his eyes went a bit wide, "Esmeralda?" He he murmured, handing his 'walking stick' over to Abellio before he lifted his arms up to try to catch the Dovaa woman who was rushing his way, "Hey, are you alright?" He asked of her, his bright eyes going wide, wondering if she was alright and where it was that she was racing off to. It looked a bit like she was rushing straight toward him, something that he found to be a bit odd but maybe she was just happy to see him? Maybe not, the look on her face didn't seem all that happy... so it must be something else... what though, that he wasn't sure but maybe she'd tell him?

Tilawen
It was impossible to ignore everything that was going on, after all with the smell of death hanging like a shroud in the area even Tilawen had to take a step back to figure out her next move. Would her father risk coming to this place? Perhaps if he was trying to lose himself in the crowd, and he was all for the dovaa people. He may just try and join in the war efforts in order to redeem himself from...mistakes he made many years ago. Yes it was most likely that Burrom would be in the dovaa encampment.
Having decided to make her way there first to begin looking, she knew her task was going to be a difficult one. At first glance her dark skin may land her attacked on sight for being an onlivionite. It may only be later after all the craziness had died down they would realize their mistake...if they cared. Turning her cloak was still up when she noticed a shadow crossing over the bodies around her. A glance and she noticed a drakien she hadn't seen in a long time. Uassae...
Though she had no strong desire to join the girl Eironda and her bonded..it was at least a familiar face amongst the sea of hostilities. Little did she know that there would be a gathering of people she had met before a small group with Junjie being the center of it all. But she was here to locate her father...she didn't need others around to help achieve that.
It was a strange desire for her...after all that had been fueling her up to this point had been the ever consuming idea of getting revenge. Now..that small light of kindness was beckoning her to abandon her quest and to seek comfort with those she had met on her travels. Her hand tightened on the staff in her hand, she didn't need friends. She didn't need anyone. Letting people get close only would lead to disappointment and heartache. It would be better if she didn't bother with them and continue on alone.
Even then...even re-confirming what she should do, she couldn't help but look back up to catch sight of the Drakien descending to the ground and disappearing from view. Her eyes lingered a moment before she sighed and then turned to head in that direction. Perhaps Eironda had heard news or her fathers whereabouts. The hybrid made her way slowly to where Uassae was last seen.

Akilae - Oblivionite camp.
Akilae had never been to the battlefield on Eowyn before. His role in the great engagement was a more behind the scene type. Now though the order had sent all capable members, not currently on more urgent missions, to the dusty desert continent. They would fight for Soudana's honour and perhaps this time truly defeat the other armies. Even if it meant that they had to pretend to be normal soldiers and random warriors who were only to happy to take orders from Draco verrano. Not a single member of the Order of the onyx wore their markings today, lest they give themselves away and complicate an already delicate matter.
Akilae was not the sort meant to see the front line in battles though. His dovaa magic was strong and he was a deft hand with daggers but neither of those skillsets made him suitable to be in the midst of that throng of clashing bodies. All the better he supposed as his dark skin attracted the sun far too well and adding any amount of armor on top of that would only make things worse. He had great respect for those who were warriors out there.
It was with this in mind that the young man found himself lined up amongst the other archers who had joined the war effort. Well the stationary ones anyways. his bow was most effective when used from the back of a beast but he had not yet mastered mounted archery. For now he was perched behind what passed for a protective barrier, doing his best to help one of his friends. Velari was out in the thick of things and he kept a close watch on her. Loosing an arrow in the direction of anyone who got too close to harming her.
This was so much harder than hunting dragons, he had to time his shots perfectly and hope there were no sudden shifts in who was standing where to avoid friendly fire.
That and he was for the moment attempting to not shoot at Ysali dovaa and anyone resembling people he knew. Even though he still harbored some ill feelings for Esmeralda , should the scholar have turned warrior since he last saw her Aki was not inclined to shoot her down just yet. At the very least she had seemed like the type that would abhor her own people's violent assault on an Orphanage. Junjie as well did not strike him as the sort who would approve of such a disgusting act.

Maslin- Orderite camp
Maslin loathed war and thought very little of those who chose to partake in the fighting. He refused to forge weapons for this vary reason even though it cost him a fair amount of potential customers. It went against everything in Maslin's nature to be out here amongst the bloodthirsty and the ever so righteous warriors. Even if at the moment he understood why one would want to fight. There were rules to this nonsense for a reason, so people who wanted nothing to do with the war didn't have to die.
It was only after a very exhausting argument with his mother that he had been convinced to take the next ferry to Eowyn. She had insisted that going there to act as a field medic would not make his disapproval of the the whole business seem hypocritical. It would take more than a few healing spells and bandages for the more heavily wounded to get back on the battlefield so he would not be enabling one side over another. Given the reason for the recent flareup in the war a lot of untested young soldiers were going to be out on the battlefield. There would be more injured than normal and every available healer was needed regardless of which side the worked for.
In the end it had been a comment about Relka and how there would be more incidents like hers that had gotten to the young man. If he could prevent the loss of a limb with his skills it would worth the effort. Maslin might be working on understanding how one could improve a prosthetic limb but even his initial blueprints were not ready yet. The best he could do for now was try to heal the injured while making his distaste for the war itself very clear.
Which was how Maslin found himself at the Orderite war camp inside a healer's tent. His wings were tucked close to his body as he shifted between three patient beds, swapping bandages and administering spells to numb any sign of pain. Normally he would have kept his wings retracted in a moment like these but the situation didn't allow for it. He passed too easily as a pureblooded dovaa without them and the other only solution would have been to walk about shirtless which wasn't going to happen.
~ Lazuli was outside the tent Maslin was occupying, tending to the wounded they didn't have room for. The bonded Peiso drakein had limited power but it was enough at least to help close small wounds and staunch bleeding without the use of cloth or hands. Unafraid to show his bias the drakein was quickest to help magescans with bonded who could not provide healing. He himself was quite familiar with fearing for his bonded's well being and he did not want others to suffer that fear longer than they needed to.

Araceli Araceli clung to her mother's side as they entered the Dovaa camp. The sight of bodies lying around made her cringe. She had not signed up for this in life. She was too young for this. Her mind was not at all capable of really processing it all. She groaned at all the blood on the ground.
Niyol slowly pried her daughter away from her and crouched down. "You must be strong. We have to head to the healing center and help tend to those injured already." Ara's mother gave her a tight squeeze, followed shortly by her father. "Be safe my darling." He told her as he stood back up to his full height.
Araceli bit back tears as her parents rushed off to help those in need, leaving her standing in the middle of the Dovaa camp alone. She looked around frantically, not laying eyes on anyone she knew. Biting her lower lip she clutched at the jewel attached to her boa. He eyes fell on a strange looking Dovaa that was currently interacting with a Drakein. She looked away as a female Dovaa ran into his arms.
She didn't know what she was going to do. Her parents were gone and she didn't know anyone. She was only thirteen. She closed her eyes tightly, willing the tears at bay. She would not cry. She bit her lip so as to distract her mind from even the thought of crying. Word Count: 242

Kadryn
Kadryn followed her father and uncle as they wandered the encampment and chatted with their old friends. She hadn't seen anyone she really knew yet, though she had spotted a few that she recognized from the Citadel. As she passed by the healer's tents she spotted a familiar Drakein. Maslin's Drakein.. Laz.. Laz something.. oh well. Wonder what Maslin's doing here? He doesn't seem the type to want to go to war. She poke her father in the back and told hims he was going to talk to a friend and would be back at their tent later. He nodded and smiled at her before turning back to his friend. Kadryn went over and poked Lazuil. "Hey Laz, Maslin nearby?"

Toki
Toki smelled a small Dovaa off to the side. Female and young by her scent and the anxiousness he sensed from her. An idea came to him. He smiled, there certainly was a way for him to get closer to hear what was going on! What better way than to walk in openly at the side of this child pretending to be bonded? It would work.. so long as no one asked how she got a bonded so old... He thought for a bit, most Magescians didn't seem to be able to tell a Drakeins age too well, he should be able to pass as a normal bonded.. hopefully. A grin flickered across his face, no risk no gain, he thought.
He emerged from his hiding place and cautiously approached the young Dovaa. "Excuse me child, but I have a favor to ask," He rumbled softly.

Araceli Lip biting had not done much to deter her mind from wanting to make her cry. She closed her eyes tightly and kept her head bent to the ground. She didn't want to be here. She let out a small sob as she took a deep breath and raise her head. She quickly wiped at her eyes, removing all evidence of her cry. Even her eyes wouldn't betray her because of the strange black coloring to them. She supposed she should find out where to go. How would she fight? She didn't even have a weapon and her spell work was minimal. Ara sorely wished she'd practiced with both more.
Ara's head swiveled around at the sound of a voice behind her. She came face to face with a rather large Drakein. Ara blinked and stepped back quickly. Was that beast talking to her? She'd heard of Drakeins but had never met one face to face like this. Was this one bonded? She searched around, wondering where it's owner was. "W-where you talking to me?" Ara asked. Word Count: 177

Toki:
He heard the smothered sob and his heart twitched in pity. Why had they brought such a young child to battle? Did these Magescians not treasure their children to keep them out of conflict till they were strong enough to at least defend themselves? So he sat peacefully by her and made sure to speak softly and calmly so as not to frighten her. "Yes young one. I wish to be able to enter the camp to see why everyone has gathered and appears to prepare for war. This camp is too close to my clan's home, I need to scout it out to see if we are in danger. But I cannot do so without your help." Toki bent down till he could feel her head near his and his pale sightless orbs gazed at her. "I am blind and to venture inside that camp without a guide is a stupid thing, so I will pretend to be your bonded and you can be my eyes and we shall see if we can figure out what this whole thing is about."
Toki knew that adults would not tell everything to a child, so he needed to get into that camp, see what is happening. Plus he could comfort this child. He was a shaman and to comfort and help was what he did, it was the main part of being a shaman. It didn't matter that this child wasn't a Drakein, she was still a child...

Araceli Ara swallowed and clenched her fists as the Drakein moved closer to her. Her nerves were on edge and it was all she could do not to turn tail and run. The Drakein's voice was somehow soothing, though and she soon found herself relaxing a fraction. Her eyes widened at his offer. So he was not bonded after all?
"I...I don't know." The stuttered response came out of Ara's lips. Would something like this be seen as a betrayal to her people? She bit her lip nervously as she gazed into the sightless eyes of the Drakein. Some odd urge in her was telling her to reach out and touch him. Perhaps it was because she'd never been so close to one in her lifetime. The curiosity overtook her and she reached her hand out timidly, pausing in front of his eyes. She wiggled her fingers a bit, as if to test if he was really blind.
When he didn't blink or even move she stretched her arm out further, her hand making contact with his muzzle. "I guess I could help, as long as you mean no harm to us." She was curious about these creatures that so resembled dragons. Word Count: 201

Toki sensed her waving her hand in front of him and smiled when she touched his muzzle. Good, she was calming down.
"I do not mean any harm. I just need to find out what is going on and why it is going on and if there is a threat to my clan." It was a good thing he'd told Brassarril to keep the clan in the valley and let him scout. The others were a bit too angry and distrustful of Magescians. They would have attacked first and asked questions later.. but who could blame them? That raid on their nest a while back had scared and angered them....
"Well then, let us go see what there is to find." He stood up and slowly paced towards the camp, "It had been a while since I did something this entertaining, walking into a camp full of people who could attack me at any moment." He chuckled, it was going to be a fun few days... "I will stay with you for a few days, just so that my cover isn't blown... Though if there is a battle, I will stick with you to make sure you are safe, a child has no place on the battlefield without a guardian about... Perhaps these Magescians just expected their children to grow up faster than his people dd. He knew that he wouldn't let any Keindred into a real battle until they had fully grown at least!

Araceli Ara pulled her hand back away from his face. She was just happy to finally have someone by her side and not be alone. "I will help you, then." She nodded firmly as she turned to follow him deeper into the camp. Ara could feel the stares of the other Dovaas on them. Was it unusual for a Dovaa to take on a bonded Drakein? Or was it that she was so young that it seemed strange? She squared her shoulders and stood up straight, trying her best to look taller than she really was.
"My...my parents are healers. They're needed elsewhere." She really had no ill feeling towards her adopted parents for leaving her on her own. She had explored by herself before and hunted dragons. Being placed in this situation, however, seemed to have over whelmed her. He was right, this was no place for one so inexperienced as her. She would help, though. She had to. If someone meant to harm her family and race, she'd protect them with all she had.
"You would do that?" Ara asked as she looked up at the blind Drakein. "You would protect someone you do not know?" She whispered this last question quietly. They were, after all, suppose to be bonded. "Oh! That reminds me. If I we are to pretend to be bonded, we should know each other's name." Her eyes widened at the thought. It was a good thing she had thought of it. Their cover would surely have been blown if they'd run into someone that thought to ask his name. "My name's Araceli. I go by Ara too, though." She smiled slightly. Word Count: 276

Toki bent his head down and gently blew on her hair, the drakien's way of fluffing someone. "I am Toki, the shaman of my Clan," he murmured softly before, "and of course I would! It is up to adults to keep children safe. I wouldn't leave my worsts enemy's child alone on a battle field! " He didn't speak too loudly so that only those trying to listen in would hear him. He could hear some whispers, his presence was odd, but since he was with someone they thought him bonded, just as he'd hoped. He also heard and sensed angry whispers. Not at him or the Drakein, but at .. Orderites? Now what had Orderites done to piss off the Dovaa?

Ara giggled lightly as the drakein blew into her hair, sending the hair that hung down at the sides of her face blowing. She really did love the feel of wind on her face. Even if it was a drakein's breath!
"Shaman..." Ara whispered the words. She had no clue that the Drakeins had such positions. She pondered on this as they walked through the camp. Ara half listened to what those around her said, not really paying any attention to anything in particular. Her head snapped to the side as she heard the Orderites mentioned. "I really have no clue what's going on Toki." She said as she turned her attention back to the Drakein. "Mom and dad had to rush off so quickly."
Ara frowned as she heard the Orderites mentioned yet again. This time the word treason could be heard. "What could they have done?" She asked as her hand unconsciously went to touch Toki's side. Ara needed the anchor of the large Drakein. Word Count: 167
