"I have teleported into my home but Cadha, my dog, was not to be found. He was busy sleeping." Rolling his eyes as he spoke of that. "I had a newly corrupted officer to find a bed for, corruption after being attacked by a mirror wraith was simply too much for him." So he had taken his new lieutenant home to sleep, it was better than leaving him where he'd been and he wouldn't ask Remarque to tend to his lieutenant. It was his duty as the corrupting officer to handle his new charge.

"Yes, and no harm done by you teleporting in. None done for me either." Which was good, for both of them. Had his home been busted into by some senshi, or knight, he'd have had a hell of a fight and even worse would be explaining the damage to Lily, moving out and finding a new place to live, and everything else. No, he'd gotten lucky.

"A roommate with a nasty habit...where she'd sell coffee to feed it?" He didn't ask till he was downstairs, rather than shouting down stairs to the other and having a loud conversation with him. Curious as he stepped into the kitchen and found a wall to lean against. One ash brow raised in question as he stared at the other man. "Mmm, eighteen. I think it may have been mentioned on Valentines day - that night spent out." He spoke with a smile as he referred to the evening out at the little restaurant. As he ruffled his hair a few more times with the towel he placed it on the back of a chair. His hair mused and damp, though not as damp as it had been before, he really should have considered a shirt. He'd been doing his best over the past few days to cover up some rather aggressive marks dotting his neck. Tonight when he'd gone out he hadn't been wearing a turtle neck, it had been too warm out.Te rain had come only once he'd powered up, he'd known the weather called for rain but didn't think he's go from hot and sweating to freezing quite so easily.

The mere mention of Mirror wraiths made Richard shudder and sneer, and he did nothing to hide his disdain for the creatures from his young friend. "Mirror Wraiths! Bah! What's the point of having creatures at your command when they obviously cannot be controlled? I was attacked thrice by those things and being told to leave them be? Nonsense. You did good protecting the new recruit, may I add, though? You're quite the dark knight, general."

Thankfully, he did not have to wait long for Alexandre to relieve his fears, and it was as though someone flipped a switch within him as the change was that quick. His shoulders grew lax and he flashed his guest a rather sly grin as he straightened up and looked back towards him. No longer a part of the forbidden tree, then. This fruit had fallen off and was no available for consumption. Interesting.

"Oh, I recall now! My apologies... I've been smacked down, punched, hit with likely every emotional spell that the Senshi have up their arsenal, so I must have forgotten such a key detail," Richard said in his defense. The coffee had another minute or two to brew, but he was no longer interested in the warm liquid that would be trickling down his throat in just a few minutes. Now, his interest was completely on Alexandre, and he cleaned against the counter to get a better look at his guests's topless form. What caught his eyes the most, though, was the marks on his neck, and without even thinking, he made a guess. "Vampires, dear Alex? I didn't think you into that..."

Not that he thought ill of him if that was the case. He rather liked the Anne Rice vampires himself- not to mention he did a few interesting things himself, so he had no business to judge others for what they did in the bedroom with their significant other. Unless it was Twilight vampires...

"I t seems odd though that the wraiths no longer listen to them. I do wonder why they have seemingly gone rogue, but I suppose we'll learn the case at some point." It seemed, to him anyway, that little was known even by Remarque perhaps. He wasn't going to go out killing them, he was already in enough trouble, but he did support the idea and those who did kill the wraiths. He just hoped they were again under control soon. "A dark knight...I suppose though it's not a term I've heard till now." And hearing it had brought a small, and quick, flush of color to his cheeks. "Though I can't accept it fully. It was my fault I had to corrupt the person. I powered up where they could have seen me do so, I had little other choice, and so I had no other option aside from death." And he wasn't one for the killing of civilians, not unless it was a need. The only exception really was training and that, he felt, was a need of sorts.

"A key detail, my age?" He questioned with a shake of his head as he laughed, something bright and honest. "I doubt, and should hope I'm correct, that you've been hit with every emotional spell the senshi have at their disposal. I'd worry over it leaving some form of lasting effect, perhaps leave a person slightly bi-polar." Teasing but still who knows if there would be lasting effects from this war, aside from ptsd.

"Vampires..." It took him a moment to realize, this was the first time he'd ever suffered such a problem. He'd been good till tonight in covering up the marks left on him, he was hoping they'd vanish soon. Cheeks heating up he shook his head rather quickly. "No, just...an over excited encounter...and not with a fanged sort of being."

"Well, according to our cheeky General-Queen Twihard, we are not to be bothered by such trivial matters and are ordered not to strike them down," Richard said, not even bothering to hide the disdain in his voice. He didn't need to. Not with Alexandre around. He would follow her orders and acknowledge her as his senior officer, but that didn't mean he had to like her. And he certainly didn't like Mirror Wraiths, either. He'd follow orders, but he didn't have to like them. The brew was done and made quick work of it, setting them on a tray and bringing it into the living room as though he were naught but a maid. "If they keep their creepy little selves away from me, then all is well. Not a fan of them, though I don't have anything against their owners. Just wish they had a tighter leash."

He set the tray down in front of Alexandre and took his seat, blowing the steam off the top of his cup and waiting for it to cool before taking a sip. He feigned ignorance for a little while longer, admiring his guest's company for a little while longer. Then, business. Or, rather... pleasure. First thing was first, to make sure everything was okay at home.

"I don't know... of all the emotional attacks from Senshi I could endure, if one were to have a spell that, say... enhance GOOD feelings, I'd gladly take one for the team." Richard did not need to wink or grin- he didn't need to. He adored his blush, but he tried not to bring too much attention to it, for Alexandre's sake. "Didn't know you were into that sort of thing, but I've done a few kinky things in my time. I'd recommend only some of it."

If Alexandre was interested, he'd gladly fill him in. For now, there were other matters to entertain, if he was willing to talk anyway. "So, why would an esteemed Negaverse general be sitting out in the rain? Anything I could do to help?"

"Twihard?" He questioned. He'd only seen the pink haired General Queen once, although she had been singing some horrendous song at the time. He could vaguely remember some Edward Cullen, Twilight, cut out with her. Was she really such a fan that she had earned the nickname Richard had just bestowed upon her? He had a feeling she had earned it; he doubted the other would just bless or curse someone with that nickname for no reason. "We were ordered the same. Although I've no problem in following it. Though I did have to help Remarque with one, it was after a civilian. I believe it was shattered by Remarque himself. I don't mind complying if it helps our allies and in the end helps us. I just hope they can reign the things in, and it doesn't seem like an all too easy task really." With a light shrugging, or maybe a simple roll, of his shoulders he finished speaking for the moment.

"Creepy? I'd say some people would consider our youma to be just as creepy if not more so perhaps. And our enemies I'm sure view both in the same manner. Although...I really could care less for their opinions to be honest." He'd rather see the senshi and knights bloodied and dying to be honest. He had no issue in helping to achieve that either. Again, someone who was nothing more than a teenager speaking so easily on death. This war had certainly changed him and had the power to change everyone who joined it - willingly or not. "I don't know if they have the power to, I mean I don't know how the bond with those wraiths works when compared to us and youma. It could be vastly different and make it harder for them." And he did like to think that was part of the issue, it would make sense really. Both factions might fight for chaos but both had many differences that were notable really.

As the drinks were set down, they had come in on a tray, he paused and smiled up at the other. "Thank you." Taking his own cup he blew gently before taking a slow sip, hesitant for a moment.

"I'm sure you would take one for the team then. I think a few of us might. Some of those emotional and mental attacks are worse than the physical ones, something I'd at first thought impossible. I'd thought I'd cave faster under physical pain than the mental and emotional some of them inflict." Although he still had a distinct dislike for Ganymede's attack, that thing hurt! That was one of the top three attacks, and thus senshi, he hated.

Again the other managed to throw him off. Ducking his head, hoping his hair and the cup of steaming hot liquid would help and cover things, he took a slow sip before answering the other. "I honestly couldn't say I knew I was either...." Trailing off he wondered how to continue. This wasn't a topic he normally discussed, with anyone. "I - I'm not even sure I'd know half of what you'd say is...and I doubt I'd try any of it..." If only because it was likely to leave him feeling vulnerable, clueless, and completely out of a safe zone. And normally he wasn't the sort to cling to such things, he easily could throw himself into situations with confidence even, but in this field he couldn't. Maybe it was just not wanting someone to say anything, to spread rumors or such around about him? If he asked questions people would surely laugh or think him some child...and less experienced in life, and other things, than they were. Maybe it was how it would be a hell of a blow to his confidence. It all seemed to narrow down to how people would view him and that really was likely the issue. But why would it bother him? If he did sleep around, and people knew, that would bother him as well due to the reputation. It was all very complicated he figured, and thus for now it got pushed aside in favor of the new topic.

"I doubt I'm esteemed, just a General. But as for the reason why it was a simple matter of letting my mind take over and wander. I fear my mind likes to do that from time to time - wander. Tonight it was how far I've come, changed, and what path I'm on and where I'm going. What I've done.." Shaking his head he smiled at the other softly. The hot cup clutched between his hands as he watched the other. "So much has changed. I just wonder if I'm loosing myself or if I've lost myself. Lately I've just felt so far adrift with land no only not in sight but no idea which way to go to bring it back into sight." He felt lost...lost and a bit alone. He had Alois but he wouldn't tell his family, or Lily, and Bazzite was sort of gone. His name, at least to some, was tarnished. He'd ruined his friend, another Negaverse agent, with his own hand - with the chaos he had pumped into people to corrupt them and thought of as a good thing - the chaos that is.

"Don't get me wrong, Alex, we're all allowed to have our hobbies, and obsessions, but when it starts to get in the way of business and makes you look like a fool in front of your underlings? Ah, well, she's the one with the power, not I, so she must have done something to deserve it." Richard just wanted to get that off of his chest before it had anymore time to fester into some kind of stress tumor or time bomb. It was immature of him to complain about the higher ups, he knew, but sometimes he just needed to air his grievances.

However, it was unfair to do such a thing when he knew that Alex was probably having a worse time than him, and he took a seat, listening to Alex's every word and keeping his comments to himself for the moment as he enjoyed his own cup. He raised good points, but in truth, Richard wasn't all that interested in the Mirror Wraiths or their allies, not so much as he was interested in Alex's dilemma and how he could help. "I'll do whatever the Negaverse would order me to do, short of sacrificing myself needlessly. Not when I can be of use elsewhere, anyway. If they wish for me to endure these silly magical attacks, then I'll do my best, and hope that they never require me to put two in the computer, if you know what I mean. If I survive a Senshi's attack, I'm content."

When the topic switched to a more kinky one, Richard wasn't ashamed to admit that he was more than onboard with it, and it shown in his rather sly grin. It wasn't that he didn't consider Alex's feelings and his dilemma with recent events such as Bazzite, but he had a good idea of what would help get his mind off of it. He didn't dive right into his own little therapy session just yet, though, but one could see the lust in his red eyes that he barely contained, as he addressed his friend. "Nonsense, Alex. You're not as lost as you think you are, you're merely... taking a detour. You've hit some heavy construction in your daily commute and you're going down a path you're not familiar with. It happens to us all, even the best of us. You simply need to regain your sense of direction, or a good GPS. I can help, if you'd like?"

"Oh, I agree about that." He answered calmly. But he agreed about her being the one in power, and having to have somehow earned it. He didn't know her or what she'd done but he was sure she had earned the power she held...somehow or other. Could they, as underlings, even comment on how she conducted herself? If they felt it was wrong somehow? He doubted it, and even if they did nothing would happen likely.

Sipping slowly at his own drink he bobbed his head. "I'll do the same - sacrifice myself in whatever ways I must so long as it isn't needlessly. I just hope that my faith in our higher ups is well placed and we would not be sacrificed in some pointless manner." That they had a value and wouldn't just become some piece of fodder. Though without having a clue of future plans and more he really had no way to tell if anything he would ever be asked to do would be pointless or not. That thought was a new one and one which unsettled him a bit. He wished he knew more of future plans so he could see and know what had to be done and by who and the reasons behind things.

"I know what you mean and I agree - about surviving the attacks. I also hope I can survive the fights with minimal injuries and minimal down time." He didn't want to die in this war, even if he accepted the idea of it being possible. "I really should derail my train of thoughts before I sink in to some form of depression tonight. I just find that my thoughts are forcing themselves off the back burner tonight and plaguing me. Or as you so eloquently put it...a detour due to heavy construction. I do prefer your way of wording it, it seems to be fitting. I just...dislike it immensely - the feelings." Maybe he was so lost feeling due to what was going on in his life and being a teenager, wren't teenagers more prone to emotional things and feeling things more keenly?

He knew what the other was offering, or rather how Richard was offering to help him. He wasn't stupid. And he knew he could say no, play stupid, change the topic. He had a lot of options available to him and he doubted the red haired man would think any different of him if he did do any of the aforementioned things. This wasn't Dustin though or in the middle of some heated fight, it wouldn't be something he regretted or felt was out of no where with him. This wasn't Alois either and something he had been swept up in like some tidal wave sweeping away some surfboard. Here he had a choice and was clear headed enough to think and decide. Would he regret it? No...he was sure he wouldn't. Would this change who he was or anything about him...make him some sort of tart? No, not if he didn't let it and if he didn't go parading his actions about. So was there a reason to say no? No. No, there wasn't and seeing no reason he turned blue eyes on Richard, even as he felt his cheeks warming, and tilted his head before answering. "I believe I'd like to take up your offer of help." Finishing his drink quickly he set the cup down as he kept his eyes on the other, waiting to see his response.

This didn't change him, the other night with Alois hadn't, nor the time before that. He was still the same person. He was just learning to open up to certain things and learning to enjoy certain things, growing up in a way he hadn't previous to certain actions.

"A worthy sacrifice would be taking a hit for Howlite, or not even a higher ranking officer, but another like myself. A worthless sacrifice would be taking a hit for her ridiculous Pattison standee... let us pray that's not how I die," Richard said, wanting to laugh at he very thought but too disgusted with the idea to consider it. "Imagine the obituary! 'Here's lies the fool, that laid his life down for a poster a man that wants nothing to do with the series he's famous for'. And then the heart-warming eulogy she'd write for me..."

He shuddered at the thought and almost spilled his for it, but he made the save, before it could singe his lap. That would have been painful, and not to mention embarrassing! His near miss didn't distract him from Alexandre in the least, and he offered his friend a warm smile, as he leaned closer to him. He never thought himself as a good big brother- that was Daran's job. But then again, he wasn't looking at Alexandre as a young brother either.

No, he saw the potential for something different, something more interesting to him than a brotherly relationship. He wasn't expecting Alexandre to take the bait, or even notice the bait, but who would Richard be if he did not try? Alex was a smart young man, so he was certain that he had caught his meaning, but, just in case, he took it slow. "Emotions are a blessing and a curse, my good friend. I'm often a victim of my own emotions and passions, but it's what makes me human. Shut yourself off from those emotions, then you'd might as well be a robot, or as alien as the Senshi we fight day to day. Let yourself feel every once and awhile, Alex... the good, and the bad, too. They're what makes you human."

He set his coffee down, and slowly, gently, he pressed a hand to that bare shoulder and gave it a comforting, but affectionate, squeeze. His grin told all, that he was there as a friend, and perhaps for tonight only, something more. "Don't worry. I won't tell anyone if you don't want me to..."

Oh how amusing the idea of dying for some cardboard cut out would be, and pathetic and pointless. It would be amusing on ones death certificate though. "I doubt it would be heart warming. Crazed would be the term I'd use. You were not around for the Christmas sweaters - be glad for that." Had Richard seen those, or heard abut them, well...he might realize the General Queen has to be insane or at least unbalanced in some fashion. "Nor her singing, or screeching, into a microphone on a stage. She's a little off." And might just try and sacrifice someone for that cardboard cut out, how terribly scary.

"More a curse as of late then a blessing. Although that seems to be changing." The time spent with Alois especially the most recent time spent with him, was proving a pick up in his emotions. They were fairing better living together and after the calm that had descended upon them after the carnival event he was feeling more at home. But tonight things had just decided to step to the forefront of his mind and take over his emotions, and his mind.

"I had - till recently shut myself off from certain things due to a negative view of them." Not caring at all that certain things were human, plain and simple. He was sure that Buddy could glean from his words what he meant, how he'd viewed certain things. The man knew him well enough surely, right? "I don't think I shut myself off from the emotions so much as the actions. The emotions perhaps just followed, at least to an extent." And he had considered it being mature and proper, being above others and minding himself.

"Enough of such talk though. I think I'd rather make my night go from a lack luster deary night of negativity to something far better - if your offer is in fact an offer."

"Christmas sweaters? Well... perhaps there are some thing worse than dying for a Cullen." He hated those things, so festive, and ugly, and itchy! Oh, so ITCHY. He wanted to scratch just thinking about it. However, he found little need to mock her on her singing skills, as he readily admitted to Alex. "Don't let this lovely voice fool you. I cannot carry a tune either. I start singing and Baldwin starts howling to drown it out, otherwise someone things I'm strangling a cat in here."

He almost chuckled at the thought, but he held onto his laughter, especially since the atmosphere around them was beginning to grow serious. His coffee was cold, now, but he had no care for the beverage anymore. He set it on the table and allowed for Baldwin to lap up the rest, while he drew closer to his young friend. He heard him out, caring about what he had to say and merely thinking of one way to help soothe him. Yes, he certainly knew one way to help Alex overcome this...

When he seemed to not only catch on to his offer but humor it, Richard couldn't help but wear a rather artful grin, as he brought a hand under that chin of his. He didn't touch him, not without his permission of course, but the sensual purr of his voice was unmistakable. "I offer you a single night. No attachments. No burdens to carry. We can even pretend it didn't help, if you'd like. There's so much tension, and it's not healthy for you to hold it in like this. Just for tonight... does that sound okay?"

"I do hope we don't suffer such horror this coming Christmas." Though at least then it would be fair on every new member who missed out last time! He still had to dig that damn thing out of his closet and burn it or feed it to his dog or something, anything but keep it. It wasn't the itch factor which bothered him but rather how tacky and ugly they were. As one who spent a decent amount of time shopping and standing in front of a mirror while getting dressed he knew how ugly they were; and was not about to go out looking so hideous. "I can't sing either but she sounded rather like a banshee..." Trailing off, letting the topic drop, in favor of something far better.

With his own cup on the table he let his attention rest fully on Buddy; where it should be right now. Lifting his head as the others hand came up under his chin, slate eyes seeking the others ruby eyes. "I would not pretend nothing happened - that would imply that I regret what we'll do tonight. If I were to regret it...why would I take up the offer you've laid before me? No, I'm interested in the offer of tonight." He answered evenly, seriously, as he reached up with one of his own hands and ran his fingers through the others red hair.

What did Richard care about Christmas? His birthday interested him more than that, but for now, the thought of Christmas, of the Negaverse, or anything else besides the young man before him right now. In truth, he was taken back by his desire to not want to hide this, and he let it show in the way his crimson eyes practically glistened.

It wasn't just what he was implying that got him wiled up, but his conviction and the strength behind it. Here was a guy who wanted no regrets, who wanted to recall the event with fond memories. Was this what it took to cause him to lower his defenses? Or perhaps the higher ranking officers of the Negaverse weren't as cold and unreachable as the likes of their General-Kings and Queens pretended to be?

Or perhaps, Alex was just different? Better? Human, like him? Yes... this quelled whatever fears he might have had for himself and his humanity, and that made the desire to indulge himself, and allow Alex to indulge as well, even greater. He enjoyed the young general's touch, even as he slid his own hands down and lifted him into his arms. "Very well, then... let us make this a night worthy of remembering, shall we?"

Baldwin rested his head in his paws and watched as his master ascended the stairs, knowing full well what was going to happen once the bedroom doors would close. That meant he'd be sleeping down here tonight, and he could live with that.

Surprise crossed his face as he found himself being lifted by the other, arms quickly went about the others neck and legs went about the others waist. "You'd better not drop me." There was no threat lurking behind his words, no malice or anger, but the words weren't quiet teasing either. It was rather a simple statement made as he clung to the other, he really did not want to land on the ground. "Indeed, lets." The words were calm, sure of themselves, and the blond brought his face in close to press his cheek to the others.

"I'd like to have a lot to look back on later..." The words hung heavy in the air as the implications were obvious. The blond general let himself be taken up stairs to the others room, trusting in the other to not drop him nor anything else. If he could trust someone in a fight and to have his back in a fight...this was much simpler. This wasn't his life on the line. He had trust in those he fought with, at least those he knew and fought with.

Buddy would find that out though, if he hadn't already.
