Aiden blinked at her question then tilted his head slightly as he pondered over it. "Souji? Sure he can be annoying at times."
"But he kind of grew on me after a while. I'm sure yours will do the same." He finished. The first part of his sentence had a teasing tone, seemingly more directed to the ring on his hand.

Makayla frowns as she lifts her hand to look at the bracelet "I don't know about that. She won't stop asking me if your my boyfriend or lover." she felt her cheeks darken before she stops talking.
Why did she just say that?

Shaking her head, she looks up at Aiden with a sheepish expression "Anyways, meet any cute girls that you fancy?" she was trying to move the subject away from her and him, and strictly just to him "You said your partner name is Souji? My partner's name is Liyu..."

Aiden's grin grew and he chuckled at Maky's admittance. Part of him wanted her to tell her partner yes, but the other part was saying to keep silent for now. At he question however his cheeks turned slightly red as the answer almost blurt out. "Maybe, but I'm only going to give the real answer if you let me know if you met anyone you fancy ok?" He said with a light tone to try and belay the blush.
"Yep, Souji is his name. Liyu sounds like a night name. What is her weapon form?" He asked to help change the subject.

Makayla smile faltered at his words before she nods "Oh...um...yea." wait, he thought a few of the other girls might be cute? Turning her head, she chews on her lip as she tries to block the very idea out of her head. Afterall, they were just friends. He was allowed to be with who ever he pleased.
<So why are you so angry then at the very thought of him being with another ghoul? Stop lying to yourself!>
She ignored Liyu as she turns her eyes back to Aiden. She put on her best smile as she leans against him again "Oh, um...she a staff. Pretty wicked on at that. What about Souji?" she decided it would be best to just keep things simply on their partners.
And not the fact that she was slightly green at the moment.

Yeah? As it yeah she had met someone? Or yeah as in she was just agreeing with what was said? Aiden puzzled over those questions while trying to stop from asking them out loud. What if she had met someone? It's not like he would do anything about it anyway.
"A staff huh? Sounds like she suits you then." Aiden said with a nod. "Souji is a spetum, a type of spear weapon." He was very willing to continue with the change of subject. Really he was.
He also really, really wanted to ask for clarification.

"A spear? Yea, that sound about right for you." she chuckles before she falls quiet, looking down at the bracelet. She wasn't sure what else to say at the moment, that didn't make her want to ask foolish question. Instead, she just lifts her hand to place with the end of her hair for a brief moment

Liyu huffs, completely frustrated with her.
Shaking her head, she turns her attention to the area around them "So beside the cafeteria and training grounds, what else does this isle have to offer?" again, she turns her attention back to everything but them.
