"Yes and yes," was ********* simple answer to the questions that the senshi had blurted out. Yes, Irene should have been able to rely on any senshi, and yes, any senshi should be able to rely on her.
However, that was the preaching saved for an ideal world.
********* noticed the smile that had formed upon the girl's lips. "...so, dare I ask what the wheels in your mind are doing at the moment, Irene? Or is that something you will be saving for another time?" The little animal leaned closer as if to try and sway Irene's answer.

"Turning." Well, that was an obvious answer. "As to where they're leading, I don't know yet," Irene replied honestly. "I want to talk to other people first, to see what they have to say. It would be easy for me to fault others for not picking up a perceived slack... but until I know why that slack exists, I won't know how to fix it. Besides, I can't expect other people to reach out if I'm not willing to do it either."
So far, Irene's senshi career had been fairly isolated. She patrolled with other Asteroids, helped other Asteroids with problems, came to the rescue of other Asteroids (and had them come to her rescue in turn). The meeting had shown her that there were so many more senshi than she had met, but it wasn't until now that she realized how important it was for them to work together. Really together, not just in little groups here and there, with so many people being left out.
"Do... do you think I'm being silly?" It was, she supposed, idealistic of her to think that everything could be solved with a conversation or two. But she liked her ideals, and was willing to work for them. Maybe that would be enough.

The feline nodded her head, respecting the Super Senshi's decisions. Her head paused in its bobbing when she asked ********* opinion once more.
"...Yes, you are silly! However, I think we all are silly. Me, you, Iris, Psyche... everyone... However... your heart is in the right place. And it is when you have your heart fully invested in something that you will try your hardest!"
With that, the manx glanced to the side, gesturing ahead to their current path.
"Shall we?"

That wasn't exactly the answer Irene had been hoping for, but she couldn't help but giggle. "Oh *********... I suppose it is silly, but it's also something I want to do my very best with!" That way, no matter what the outcome, she could be pleased with the work that she did. Would she cause a revolution in the senshi world? Probably not. But it was time to try stirring things up a bit.
Holding out her arm to an invisible escort, Irene nodded her head imperiously. "We shall!"
It was nice to be patrolling with someone else again, to have someone to lean on. And that, she decided, was the point she needed to drive home to everyone else.
