"Mr. Snuggles?" She wasn't quite sure who that was, but apparently he was quite funny. She stared at him curiously. There must be SOME way to make him smile..

She leapt down from the benchand said "Hold on one second!" she ran behind them, where some flowers were growing. She picked a few, and brought them back to Cirrus. But pollen had fallen from the flowers and coated her nose.

She offered the flowers to Cirrus, and said "These are...are...for...ACHOOO!" Her sneeze rocked the flowers, sending petals flying into the air like confetti. She sat still, dizzy for a moment from the power of the sneeze. Her face was covered in pollen, and she sniffed, then sneezed again.

Though she was dizzy with sneezes, she heard a sound. A small sound, but a sound nonetheless that was quickly smothered. Candy looked at Cirrus as he brushed the pollen off her nose, smiling widely. He had giggled! A real giggle!

"I'm ok. I guess they were just too close to my nose. I don't think I am allergic." she giggled, and looked around at the petals.

"At least I got a smile outta you!" she added cheerfully. For a brief moment, he was happy and he showed it!

The second smile didn't seem as genuine as the first, though Candy didn't mind. He was trying, and that's all that mattered. She did offer a quick frown and a perk of the ears when he mentioned what Baskerville had said.

"Well now that DOES sound mean!" She rose from her sitting position and sat directly to the right of Cirrus, offering a hoof in the form of a side hug. "I'm sorry your friend said that. But he is wrong! I know you will have lots of friends if you give it time."

Her arm squeezed tight for a moment. "You already have one friend. Me!" She jumped up, tossing her arms out wide and grinning wildly under her pink curls.

Ooooooo a tea leaf reading, that sounded fun! She resumed standing on all four hooves, and too leaned forward. "That sounds fun! I wonder what tea has to say about me?" She giggled at the rhyme, glad to have another friend. Maybe with her around, Cirrus would learn to be a tad more cheerful.
