Rolling backwards, he bounced up onto his feet and performed a sweeping bow, flourishing his hands.

"Yer wish is my command, m'lord. Ya drive a hard bargain." He said, his voice high and nasel-y. The fact that he got Chester to negotiate at all made the whole exercise worthwhile, and as a bonus, allowed them to distract themselves from the awkward situation. If answers were not forthcoming, well, Eli would just have to ferret them out on his own... When Chester wasn't looking, preferably.

The bargain wasn't really a bargain, when you thought about it... While the carnival was running, every day would be performance day for him, right? Oh well. He'd find a way to turn the agreement to his advantage somehow.
