@Sub: If anyone should have lots of money shouldn't it be the ones who don't intend to cling to it all for Lamborghinis and personal chefs? We could improve a lot of things if we trust God with our finances and return the blessing to His works. And for that loyalty He does allow for the desires of our hearts. Is it wrong that I bought a new futon to replace uncomfortable one I already had? Should I have kept sitting on that old uncomfortable futon and given $372 to charity or could I have a good futon and still be generous? He can let you live comfortably and have some nice things. He's God after all. He has access to everything on earth and not all rewards are stockpiled in Heaven.
As for your 'Where to?' question. I'd suggest aside from regular personal time with God, also seek out some trustworthy ministers. My mom is fond of Joice Myer and Benny Hinn and when she receives spiritual wisdom from them she contributes to their ministries. And when she gives alms she donates to Native American charities because God moves her heart for them.

@Guillo: Actually, sometimes we do receive little blessings like that. My mom had a similar thing happen to her recently with $20 she found in her dresser. Her first thought was "That's money." And then she heard God say "That's seed." I'm not saying that's what your situation was but sometimes it's good to be spiritually sensitive and really question the concept of luck or coincidence. It may be something deeper.
