This was probably going to actually be enjoyable for Adler, besides the paper work he'd get to go through after all of this nonsense. A nice sensible meal (that actually smelled decent. Good Les, he didn't think you were lying to him on this one), sitting down while not being toted around and some peace and quiet.
At least, that was his plan because he was not going to be sitting down near all that nonsense drivel that was going on with all these peoples' personal lives. Going down the buffet line, Adler made sure to get at least one of ever food group and a small bit on indulgence with some jell-o and gained himself a good sizable filled plate. To a corner he went, passing the others to go sit down and review his notes of the day.
Haha. Mingle. No.
Guest Name: Adler Green Guest Profession: Insurance Inspector Group: Unicorn Physical Description: A tall 6'5, thin, stern looking man of 42 who looks like he's never had fun in his life (because he hasn't). His hair is a sandy blonde and very nicely combed and well maintained, since he still has it and all, and his eyes are a very nice shade of green. Adler takes pride in his appearance, wearing very nice suits and very boring ties and socks to go along with his very well maintained shoes. About the only thing about him that could be interesting are his horn-rimmed glasses. Rarely smiles. Brief Character Profile: Let's get one thing straight, Adler didn't want to come to this place. He was assigned by his company to assets a future client, and given how he's a Director of Major Accounts that put him in prime position. Adler has no stitch of imagination and thinks all of this is asinine (maybe even part of him wants to prove it all fake). He has a stick up his a** (and looks it) and a rather cold demeanor. Getting that look he instantly assumed that the guides were now together, the words only confirmed it for him. "I see." Well that was interesting though now he felt a little awkward for flirting with the woman previously. Hopefully there were no hard feelings since he hadn't honestly known or noticed before now.
"Adventurous but not stupid." Shrugging more to himself he held the fruit waiting for Cora impatiently as its juices slid down his thumb and forefinger. It was certainly sticky but as Cora stepped up and took it into her mouth she seemed to be enjoying it. Green eyes focused intently for a few moments before quickly adverting away from Cora's mouth.
Perhaps just a little too much. Flushing for a brief second the man coughed and then promptly pokerfaced at the answer.
"That. That is not helpful." Cora that was not helpful, all of that. Clearing his throat he whipped his fingers on his jeans and avoided the unknown fruit. And though he would never admit it, it was for more than the reason of not knowing if it would swell his throat upon entry. Grabbing a few more pieces of random food he followed after Cora and sat down at one of the tables.
Cora blinks at Tonio as she see his cheek were darker then normal, wondering what had caused that. She left it alone for now as she watch him pick up a few more items then turn towards her. Giving his a smile, she makes her way over to a table that seem empty and took a seat. Pulling off her jacket, she hangs it over the back of her chair before she adjust her black top.
Picking up her fork, she grabs up a random piece of fruit and takes a bite out of it as she glance up towards Tonio for a moment. After swallowing the fruit she had in her mouth, she chuckles "So beside getting chased by the dragon, your having fun right?" she was only curious because he kept giving that pokerface that he used when he was working, so she was having a hard time reading him at the moment.
More then anything, she wanted him to just relax and have fun. Even if it meant her poking and picking on him until she could get him to crack a smile. Once that happen, she knew she could get him to relax.

Compared to much of the other staff, Cecil arrived late, looking wind-swept from his vehical, but at least optimistic as he beamed at their collected guests. He didn't go join Whorl, and there wasn't any sign of Wickett, yet, but as he made his way from the food-line, he beamed, "What a day, what a day! If anyone would like to know more about our Fantastic operations, please don't hesitate to ask!"
And he slipped behind a table, waiting for the gushing ladies to ask Just how a Unicorn is made.
And once the car was loaded off they went again, sadly not to move cute fuzzy things. Rather they headed toward the main facilities and toward one of the main halls were a few of the other cars could be seen outside. It seemed various groups were all heading back to reconvene of sorts. "We'll be heading back for a meal and rest, if you'd like to head out for something please be sure to request assistance, otherwise enjoy yourself." She offered a smile that wasn't as a stressed with 'so long as nothing eats you' for once as she helped with opening the cars and securing things before starting in toward the building. "As stated, if you need anything at all we're all here to assist you. Don't hesitate to inquire." She added while watching the rest of the hall.
Shouldn't be too troublesome. Aside from the crazy mastermind behind the creatures. He was always trouble. Not that she'd ever say it out loud. That was just asking to be fired.

Nadya noted the incoming people and suddenly felt better about her people skills as she observed a couple of them. But not by much.
She continued to eat and look as if she was friendly.
Nadya shifted in her seat and muttered to herself under her breath.

Staff Name: Nadezha Utkin [Goes by/Listens to Nadya] Job Description: Staff - Handler - Mostly at Underwater Center
Physical Description: She stands at around 5'1 with dark brown hair that cut about shoulder length and usually kept in a braid. Her eyes dark brown colored - they almost look black. Nadya is not very thin, in fact she has curves, and well built legs - like she could probably crack heads like swallows eggs with them. She smiles often and wears perscription glasses when she reads. She has a Russian accent and is very proud of her heritage.
Brief Character Profile: Miss Utkin is friendly and cheerful it probably has a lot to do with the fact that she deals with water creatures a lot - her specialty having been dolphins while she was working in college for her Marine Biology degree. Nadya never intended to stick around Wonder Park and wanted to persue her own research, but things happened. Nadya had gotten attached to some of the critters that she works with. She is motherly and protective of those she cares for.

Hannah made a beeline for the food, quickly filling up a plate of whatever food was closest to her. She was by no means a picky eater, and even if she was, at this point she felt like she could've eaten a horse. Raw. As long as it was edible, she was game.
Once that grueling task was gone and done with, she plopped down in the first empty seat she could find - which so happened to be next to a curvy woman in staff uniform. "Oh, hey." A quick grinned greeting to her neighbour and then she was busy stuffing her face. Yesss, food!!
When she'd finally sated her hunger a bit, Hannah looked up from her plate to turn to the person next to her. "Hey, you're one of the handlers here, right? Think I've seen ya around, whatwasit, Fantasy Fields?" Brow briefly furrowed in thought, she shook her head, "nah, that doesn't sound right. Water creatures or something, yeah?"

Rin wasn't exactly a people person. And it showed. She ensured her group arrived and managed all of one water bottle for herself before finding a corner to watch from. She wasn't exactly excused from keeping an eye and not losing the group.
Actually she'd said they were available. She had to remain as such. Still, she wasn't beyond sipping some water and resting while she had a moment. Assuming her group didn't need further assistance or have questions.
...there was food. They'd be distracted properly with that right?
(( Rin's just gonna stay in her corner unless you need her because she's not off duty but has no actual work to perform. Because yea. That. Poking her for her attention is available. ))

Nadya was startled out of her self-chatter when there was a sudden presence near her. The Russian tilted her head up and looked over at the other woman with a bit of a unfocused gaze at first. One second. Two second.
Oh right. Another human being! Time to talk at them and actually hear verbal responses from them.
There was a shift in how she sat so she could more directly address the other, "Ah. Y-yes. I work at the Curiosity Coast more than any other place. I work with the mermaids and such," Nadya smiled with quiet pride. "I have seen you, as well, yes? You keep eye on things?"
"I am Nadya Utkin," she added belatedly as a refresher for the other.

Hannah waited patiently with a friendly smile as the other woman seemed to be gathering her wits. So it might be taking a little longer than she'd expected, but she wasn't one to raise a fuss over such things; and the handler didn't seem to be trying for impoliteness, she just seemed... absentminded? Yeah, 'absentminded' was the right word for it. "Nice! I'm particularly fond of the mermaids myself, they've got such an elegance to 'em." She gave a dreamy sigh, only slightly exaggerated, and winked at her conversation partner. "Yep, that's me! Working in Security, I am - woops, didn't mean to go all Yoda on ya there. But yeah, Security. S'a nice job, but sometimes I envy the bond you handlers have with the creatures. It's pretty easy to end up being seen as the bad guy in this job from their point of view."
Quickly wiping her hand on a napkin, she held it out to Nadya with a grin, "charmed! I'm Hannah Everett, or as my grandpa calls it; Iver-itt."

Nadya just needed a moment to switch gears. Just a couple of them. She was okay now.
The young woman had a fond smile on her face, "I always wanted to be a mermaid when I was little. My favorite movie was the uhh...The Disney film, yes? Uhmm... L-Little Mermaid! That is it." Nadya felt a bit foolish having forgotten the name of her favorite movie but...
"What is..a Yoda?" Her head tilted to the side a bit. Nadya was not exactly well versed in pop culture and movies. There was a small smile of understanding on her face, "I am sure you mean well. I try to keep them obedient so you and others on security do not have to work as hard..."
Sometimes it didn't work.
Hannah seemed nice, "Ah I..I see. I am pleased to meet you Hannah. You have lovely name."

"That was definitely one of the better ones they made, yeah. And not nearly as bittersweet as the fairytale, thank god." Personally she'd always been more of a Mulan-fan, but she remembered watching the Little Mermaid and liking it. "So, how do the reality of mermaids live up to the childhood dreams?"
"Ahh," she waved a hand dismissively, "just some green midget with a weird way of speaking. He's from Star Wars, y'know, the movies? The older ones at least, never bothered to watch the new ones so dunno if he's still around." It'd been her father who was fond of the film series, and he'd stubbornly refused to watch any of the newer movies, saying they were 'a disgrace to the name Star Wars', with a lot of exclamation points at the end. She figured that that was a pretty ballsy claim from someone who'd never even seen them, but each to their own.
"We appreciate your hard work on our behalf, then," she grinned again. "And thank you for the compliment on my name - although I've gotta say it sounds better than it normally does when you say it. What accent is that?"

With a half of a chicken finger in his mouth the writer turned at his friends inquiry about fun and gave her as serious a look around a piece of chicken as anyone could muster. But after a moment of chewing he chuckled at her and nodded, "you know surprisingly it's not so bad. I'm just never going back to that mountain." Ever. Never. Ever. As for writing about dragons? Of course, because now he certainly had the real life experience for it. However as far as ever going near one again? No thank you.
At the moment he was in all honesty relaxed as long as Cora calmed down on teasing him. Stretching back in the seat his eyes flickered up and wandered over the entering faces. "Looks like more people are coming back..I wonder what they've seen.." Antonio wasn't the type to approach strangers but he was curious if he could eavesdrop on a few of their conversations to see what else might be lurking in the park.
Glancing back to Cora he smirked and took a bite of something that looked close to potato salad. A thoughtful hum was given for the taste before he swallowed and asked to be sure, "how about you? You seem in better spirits now that they got you a camera." Chuckling he picked up his drink to take a sip.

"Oh! You know that story too? How it ended in the fairytale?" Nadya seemed suddenly seemed alight with interest, "Is tragic but I still love it. I loved both versions," there were just some things that she could prattle on about for ages if given the chance.
She tilted her head to the side and shrugged a shoulder, "Was not very much into the uhh.. Star Wars, Stark Treks, and ummm things such as that. Wait no..." There was a pause as she corrected herself, "I never had a source for such things. Um. Like friends and family that may have liked it to show it to me."
Watching movies were always better with friends or so she was told.
Nadya blushed a little bit as Hannah commented on her pronunciation of the name, "I am Russian."

"Yeah, my mom was fond of Andersen's fairytales so she read it to us a couple times. Gave my little sister nightmares for weeks, it did," she snorted at the memory, but the topic seemed to enliven Nadya, so she continued; "I liked the Disney version better, but the original wasn't so bad either - at least she got a chance to earn herself a soul in the end, so it's not a complete tragedy in my opinion. Just... perhaps not as easy to understand for children as 'true love always wins' is. I think the morals of the original one are more practical than the new version's is, though."
Hannah nodded in recognition of Nadya's problem, "ahh, I see. S'been the same for me ever since I moved here, but if'n you're interested we could always get together sometime and have a movie-night or something like that?" It'd be nice with another friend on the premises; talking with people over the phone or on skype just wasn't the same as hanging out in person.
And Nadya was totally cute. Alright, maybe cute wasn't really the word - alluring? Those really were some killer curves. Mixed with a dash of cuteness - especially when she blushed. "Neat! Your English is pretty amazin', I hafta say. This the first time you live somewhere primarily English-speaking?"
