Izaya stared at the man in silence for a moment, crimson eyes completely blank, void of...well anything. It was then that a wide grin pulled at his lips and he basically keeled over in a hysteric fit of laughter "Oh this! This is too priceless! precious even!" He voiced, wiping his eyes as tears actually managed to make it onto his cheeks. "You think i don't know? Of course we've done the same! But only after we were shown it through human behavior! who do you think we emulate?" he stated, still unable to stop himself from letting loose a few chuckles as he spoke. "And yes, I was a part of the resistance, but you have something wrong with your deduction. It wasn't senseless. Never have I taken the life of an innocent, ever." He stated, finally able to calm himself, though there was still that grin that pulled at his lips. "I've only killed those who have killed, injured those who deserve it. I've maimed those who maimed my people, but not once, have I ever killed someone who did not kill before." he stated in pure confidence. Izaya wasn't one to skimp on his research, how else would he be able to track this man down. "But you! oh this is just too good" He purred, deciding to take a look around the room...which basically meant picking up anything he thought looked interesting enough to be inspected, which right now was a small bronze statue. "So how many innocent lives have you taken hmm? How many of my people have you....oh wait, OUR, people have you terrorized? OH! let me guess. A grudge against who ever sired you? One of them was elven for sure." he chimed, yes...he was prodding...jabbing at this man with everything he had. "Was it a painful childhood? Were you unwanted? perhaps you weren't meant to be. Perhaps a product of this so called 'rape' that human kind forced upon us." he added as he placed the statue down without a sound "were you aware that we had no idea what it was until it happened to our own kind? Humans were the first to strike you know. The first to rape, pillage, kill." he then turned crimson orbs over to the man "It was them that started it all. We were innocents, new, a completely new species free of corruption. Even now we are far more innocent than you humans. Did you know, that my mother was raped and murdered in front of me as a child? My father forced to look on and then gutted before me as well? and me? I was left there for dead. I have a nice scar across my back from that. A constant reminder of the cruelty of men...But I left it alone. I tried to live a peaceful life, and it's you monsters... all of human kind, that keep on with this war."

He let the man speak his voice and when he finished he reached out and grabbed a picture frame from his table and placed it so that he could see. It was a picture of his mother and from the looks of it, his mother was the one who was the elven. "Not at all. I enjoyed my childhood, and I certainly had a family that loved me. Anything and everything I do now...is business."
He looked at him and smiled, "I strive to live a lavish life and give my family a lavish life as well. My parents are currently in another country enjoying being old and happy while I supply them endless amounts of money. I figured they deserve to live a happy life during their last years and seeing them work as hard as they did in the past I figured I'd be the one to give them everything and anything. And thus I would do whatever I had to. And here we are. You weren't someone I picked on purposely...in a sense that I have some grudge against you. You just happened to show the kind of attitude and back bone I needed to make our business grow. It's a lot simpler and less complicated than how you had thought up in your mind. And I have clean hands, in a sense that I have not spilled the blood of any man, ANY man. So, now that we cleared that, what do you want?"

Izaya licked his lips as he processed the information "Family huh.....good to know!.....wonder how mother dearest would react to how your treating her kin...Oh im delighted!" He chimed, before he lifted a hand and pressed a finger to his ear, which, if anyone had looked closely, definitely had a communication device within it "You got that right? go ahead and run the search" he purred, all the while crimson eyes remained fixated on the dark haired man before him. "Oh right!" He chimed and in a flash he had whipped out a camera and taken a picture of the woman on the desk, sending to...well whom ever his contacts were. "Anyways" He voiced, pulling the device from his ear and placing it in his pocket. He didn't really need it anymore anyways, he'd gotten what he wanted. "oh...i wonder if they recorded that, oh how i hope they did" He muttered to himself, playing over just how his parents might react. "pleasing mommy and daddy huh..." He added, his crimson eyes suddenly narrowing dangerously "Perhaps I should find them myself...let you know how it feels to lose those who are family" he added, a sudden hint of malicious intent ringing in his voice. Izaya didn't bother taking a picture of the man before him though, he didn't want it. "Oh, let me introduce myself! I'm Izaya. Though i'm sure you'll probably forget me anyways. But might I make a promise?" He chimed, walking around the man and taking a seat on the edge of the desk "I promise, that if you continue with this road you've chosen. I'll see to it personally that you're life, and everyone else you love, are stuck in a living hell, for ever." He then popped off the desk and went to exit the room "Also, I know they recorded it....I wonder what people would think if we broadcasted that? Don't worry, the media wont have a choice... we have...our ways into the system after all" He stopped to look back at the man, a look of pure amusement dancing in his eyes "Anything you wish to say? Or should i get started?"

"Go for it," He said with a simple shrug as he pulled a cigar out and lit it. "Though funny how you stand there threatening innocent people when there you were talking about how you didn't hurt innocent people. My parents are innocent and done nothing wrong. I'm your target. If in the end you decide to kill them or make their lives a living hell that's on your shoulders not mine. I care about them to an extent. You aught to know that. Now you know your way out." He smiled and motioned for him to leave while he sat back down and finished clipping his other nails.

Izaya couldn't really help it...he was agitated and this was getting him absolutely nowhere. And thus he spun on heel and walked up to the man, daring to actually get close to him at this point. "What is it you want. Because let's face it. Endless money? You have it, houses, cars, publicity, fame, everything. So what's your deal?" He voiced rather....blandly. "So what's the man with everything really want, huh?" He continued, glaring up into the other mans icy blue eyes. they were a complete contrast compared to his own blood red orbs and if the man before him wasn't so horrid, he would actually think they were pretty. On a side note "Also... I don't actually know the way out." He added rather...carelessly. It was true! He'd thought about using a window but...well that didn't always work out well. "Also! Why haven't you just killed me. I'm sure you could, you have hundreds of people at your very disposal...so why not?" He added with a quirked brow, staring at the man without any intention of looking away. He wanted to see anything, every single little expression this man was capable of making...it was almost fascinating how unmovable he was..

It was then that a very beautiful woman came in and by the looks of it she was utterly angry. Marching over to the two she pushed Izaya to the side and then proceeded to beat the s**t out of Mr. Hosten with what seemed to be a book she must have gotten on her way in. He had hunched over and put her hands on his head to soften the blows, letting out "och and ows" every now and then. Until at long last he snatched the book from her. "Alright, s**t!"
After calming down her fury she then turned to Izaya and pointed her finger at him. By the looks of her one could tell she was elven as well though much like Mr. Hosten she was half as well.
"You. I've been watching you two at the security office when I got here and all I have to say to you is keep my parents out of this. Don't go killing them by giving them a heart attack. I'll don't mind killing you before you get the chance to do so. They got nothing to do with the stupidity of my brother. Which I must in form you that I'm the one giving my parents the wealth not this idiot. And I run a company that has nothing to do with illegal s**t. Very well company with elven and human's working together peacefully." She let out a heavy and stressed sigh before rubbing her temples.
"Alright alright...not many people know this...or maybe every does, but my little brother here is sick ******** and enjoys these weird little games where in the end I have to put an end to it. Whatever he did to you I will compensate. How much do you want?" She then proceeded to take her check book out.

Izaya stared at the two in silence, a very blank expression making it's way onto his features. "Just.... compensate my people." He stated very bluntly before he turned on heel to leave "Waste of time" He sighed under his breath, lifting a hand to run his fingers through his snowy hair, crimson eyes narrowed ever so slightly. "such a waste" He voiced again, not caring if he was heard or not. "Ah...keep him on a leash why don't you? I'd rather not see his face again!" he added, not bothering to look over his shoulder as he strolled out of the room...now was the task of finding his way out. He was...thoroughly annoyed. That little p***k had set his peoples homes on fire all for the sake of a little game....it was almost pitiful! "How old is he, five?" he grumbled under his breath, he had been so close to pulling out his pistol and shooting the bugger! He was simply lucky his sister walked in when she did.

"Listen kid, I'll give you money for whatever this idiot did but don't start disrespecting him while I'm here. He's still my idiot brother. If this was a waste of time then you should have busied yourself with something else. And it's stupid to put something on a leash that can chew through anything." She turned her attention away from the elven and since he was leaving there was no reason to continue any conversation.
"I haven't done anything bad for a month, sue me if I want to have a little fun," Mr. Hosten muttered while sitting down and sighing since his fun had been ruined.
"I told you that if your games don't get you killed or get mom and dad involved then I can care less but clearly this did. Honestly this is the last straw. I'll be the one telling them what you're doing if this happens again. Got it?"
"Fine fine," he replied while waving his hands. In fact everything up until now had been something in his own little world, in fact when the board man had come in he...well that was just a scenario that occurred in his mind. The mansion that was burned down was his ex wife's house though...that much was real.
"Not only do I have to pay for any damages you caused but also the damages to Vanessa's house. Just because you're a CEO at my company doesn't mean I won't fire your dumb a**. I swear I'm taking you to see psychological help." She muttered while sitting down across from him.
"Aw that's not fair I said I wouldn't do it again! I don't need a therapist, I just want to have fun some times. Clearly my fun isn't the same fun like others..." He pouted and sat there playing with a little glass figurine.
After a bit of thought she spoke again, "Tomorrow you have to go back to that area you defiled today and spread a little love."
"Huh?!"
"You heard me, go there and see to it that the family gets the money and over see that the construction starts. So don't come to work and go there directly." She smiled and stood up as she headed for the door.
"But he said not to show my face around hiiiiiim, come on," He said sighing and getting up as she walked out.
"Well that's to damn bad," she laughed and left and left him be. He went to his room to sulk.

Izaya had simply returned to the warehouse that night and...well slept it off. The next morning he was awoken to the sound of construction which was no doubt the elven shelters being rebuilt...but this time they were being built properly. it was nice to know his people would at least have real homes now, not broken down abandoned places that no one wanted to live in anymore. With a sigh he slipped off of the cot he used as a bed and combed his fingers through his hair to tame his silvery locks. After changing into some clean clothes, minus a shirt since it was rather hot outside and well...he didn't see the need, he wandered out of the warehouse. Izaya had a lean but well cut build, not tall, but not really short either. If someone actually stopped to look at him he was quite pretty, not pale like most of the elves, and his crimson hair and stark white hair made a nice contrast against his tanned skin. Once he had actually made it to the buildings he took a nice long look at the actual damage...perhaps that man hadn't really thought about it...but someone really could have died. It wasn't like everyone here was youthful and full of energy, that fire could have done a lot of damage. They were lucky it was only the homes that had caught on fire. But right now all that mattered was clearing away the rubble to make room for new homes, and thus he put himself to work. No one seemed to mind some free labor after all, so he simply helped clear out broken beams and other such things, proving to have far more strength and stamina than it would appear from such a thin frame. After about two hours of working a pretty young elven girl approached him with a large cup of cool well water. "Here Izaya, drink" She chimed in a voice like a bell. "Thanks Maya..." He muttered, taking the cup from her and gulping down the cool liquid quickly. She simply stayed where she was, smiling secretly to herself whilst she waited. Once he finished off the water and handed the cup to her she spoke again. "Things are going well right?" She asked, though it was obvious...she was just making small talk. "Yeah.. Sorry, I've got to get back to work, thank you for the water" He replied, offering her his own little smile, before he turned and went back to towing away rubble. With a soft sigh the girl ran off to continue helping the women tend to refreshments and such. Izaya worked for another hour straight before he decided to take a break, finding that it was already noon and well…he should probably eat sooner rather than later. Problem was, he wasn’t actually feeling all that hungry…why? Well…. he didn’t feel like dealing with a certain young elf who obviously had a crush on him “She’s only seventeen… she’ll get over it” ‘I hope’ he added silently. He didn’t even treat the girl differently! She just had to up and fall for him… not like he knew the reason why but, well, it was a bit of a nuisance to be perfectly honest.

The construction had started awhile ago as they had arrived earlyish and allowed some of the elven who lived around here to help out with the rubble and what not. Mr. Hosten remained in his car across the street keeping an eye on the work but he knew it was best he stay in the car. His sister said he had to come here and wait until the construction was done (since they worked very quick and the damage could be fixed in a day) but she didn't say she had to walk around and what not. So long as no one pointed him out and left him be he was good to go.

Now generally Izaya didn't really observe his surrounding, but...well the car just sitting there for the past who knows how long was likely to be the person who caused this whole mess. "damn" he muttered and got to his feet, stretching his arms up above his head before he approached the vehicle and knocked on the window with the back of his knuckles lightly. he then waited until the other unrolled the window [if he doesnt....well Izaya will open the door XD] before speaking. "Your sister sent you right? Then be useful and cleanup the mess you made." He stated blandly, before he turned on heel and simply started to walk away...the look he had given the other had likely been one that a parent would give to a child who had made a mess. All in all, he was looking down on the other because...well he had been childish and horrible. He hadn't even tried to apologize to he residents and Izaya, well he couldn't be bothered with someone who wasn't really worth his time at all. "Oh! And apologies are welcome to! Some people lost family heirlooms that can never be replaced. You've ruined lives I hope you realize" He added, not bothering to look back at the man. How could such a grown man be so immature? It felt to Izaya like he was dealing with a child....

After Izaya had said what he wanted to say he rolled up the window and sat there making sure his door was locked. There was no need for him to go out there and get dirty, besides if he did go out the might dog pile on him and beat him to shits, like the elf said he did 'ruin' lives. He sat there quietly humming to himself. Truthfully, though his sister didn't say it, Mr. Hosten really did have a mental issue. In a way he was slightly autistic.
It was when another car pulled up that really sent him in a panic. A man came out and no doubt Izaya would catch glimpse of him, the man looking much like Mr. Hosten. He walked up to the car and did the same thing the elf did and tapped on the glass and motioning for him to put his window down. When he had done so he smiled at his twin.

Izaya had stopped in his tracks when he heard another car pull up and turned around to watch the scene before him unfold, surprised to see a man who looked almost identical to the other in the car slip out and basically repeat what Izaya had just done. Crimson orbs focused on the two of them, before he simply shook his head. "great....another family member" He murmured under his breath "I'm taking a break." he called out to the others, making his way through the street to the warehouse where he could grab his violin and sit up on the edge of the roof. It was then that he began to play, a sound that would with no doubt reach the ears of everyone on the construction site...some even stopped to listen seeing as many of them liked Izaya's playing. No one knew where he had learned to play, and he seemed to keep just about every detail of his life to himself... His life, the wreckage of a life he had lived so far. "I'm so ******** up" He mused under his breath as he continued to play, the sound becoming far more haunted...sad even. It sounded like the person playing was in pain and without realizing it a few tears had spilled onto his cheeks. But that only lasted a moment as he turned to tune into a more joyful song, not wanting to daunt the spirits of his people anymore than they already were.

They spoke for a bit until at last Mr. Hosten told Mr. Hosten (the idiot) to go home. "I've only been gone a month and you do this crap. Go home and tell V that I'm here taking care of your mess. And Jimmy...don't go to the place I know you're thinking of, go straight home."
"Okay okay," he murmured before getting a smack on the head and then went into his car and drove off.
Maxwell, or Max as he liked to be called walked across the street and greeted the contractor who went over the details. Taking off his sunglasses he glanced over to where the sound of the violin was being played but would leave it be for now. He went over to the people who were clearly the ones residing in his place.
He smiled at them with a kind and gentle smile, "I'd like to apologize on behalf of my brother. He isn't mentally well and we try keeping him confined but he does this from time to time. I'm just glad no one was hurt and my sister and I will do the best we can to help with the damages caused by the fire, though I know that no amount of money can replace any heirlooms you might have lost and for that I sincerely apologize. I do promise you that something like this will not happen again...with my brother I mean. If there is something I can do to help, something possible then let me know and I will get on it." He gave a nod before walking off going toward the sound where the violin was coming from. Once inside he went up the stairs and knocked on the door frame just to let Izaya know he was there.
"May I have a word?"

Izaya took his time to finish the last few notes of the song before he withdrew the bow and violin, placing them in their case and standing. He then turned to face the male who, obviously, was the twin that he had yet to actually know. "I'm all ears" He stated, though his tone was not in the slightest hostile. This wasn't the person who burned his kinds homes, he was not the person who had picked a fight with Izaya, and thus Izaya held absolutely no hostile feelings towards the man what so ever. Izaya stooped down to pick up his case before he moved away from the edge, though he kept a good distance from the other man as well. He didn't even know the identity of well...this entire family, besides the last name that is but that had been easy to acquire. He hadn't really looked into first names though, since it hadn't mattered to him. Izaya was simply tired, tired of conflict, fighting with humans....he was ready for all of it to end and perhaps a glimmer of his exhaustion shone in his crimson orbs for a moment, but he returned to his usual calm mask. Izaya couldn't say he was a calm person, he got shaken up easily and if people picked a fight or went out of their way to simply bother him, then he would get riled up, he couldn't help it. "I would say make yourself comfortable but...we're on a roof" He stated with a slight shrug and a small good natured smile. He may as well act civil, it seemed that this family was...well, not people he should really meddle with. In fact, he would go out of his way to avoid that other man.... perhaps the entire family.
