xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox Melissa frowned. She had been following the man around and trying to keep up with what he was saying. The guy who punched her boss was his fiance? Room 107 was his.. No he said room 106 was his. Rooms 107 and 108 were empty. Walking into the supply closet after he did she tried to not mix up everything that he told her. Picking up a few bottles of cleaning supplies to look at them while she was in there and putting them back. He was right though. It was a lot for her to think about. Putting back another bottle she stepped out of the closet. "Umm no... not right now." She did have a few but she didn't want to ask them at the moment. Besides, Melissa could figure out things later on. It shouldn't take too long for her to get used to this job. It was just cleaning rooms. Pulling out her phone she checked it to see if her favorite blonde had sent her a message or at least called. Only one about how she was busy and couldn't talk. Well this sucked. She supposedly had the day off and the only person she knew was busy... Taking a look at Riley she added, "So what are you doing with the rest of your day?"

It was kind of nice to be able to show someone the ropes, even if those ropes were mostly self-explanatory and pretty shitty altogether. He watched as she fumbled around in the closet, assuming she wouldn't be long since there wasn't all that much in there. He nodded when she said that she didn't have any questions. Now that she knew where she could find him, he felt as if his job as a trainer was over for the day. Now that all of that was done and she didn't have any questions, Riley was gung-ho to retreat back to his room and take a little siesta. He had even started to turn and go back to his room and was a bit taken aback when the girl asked what he was doing with the rest of his day.
There was really only two ways that this could be taken. Either she was just a generally curious person, or she was interested in all of this. Naturally, she was interested. He had to take a minute to attempt to determine exactly how old this girl was before he realized that he simply gave no ********. He kept his arms crossed in front of him and smiled at her. "Well, I had planned on going back to my room and playing some video games or some s**t. But if you wanted to do something, I'm sure they'd understand that I can't quite return yet." He dropped one hand to flick back some hair and make sure that his eye patch was still in position. He'd never forget the last time that he let it go unchecked for too long and traumatized some small children. "The restaurant downstairs has got some pretty decent food if you're hungry?" It was the closest thing to them that he could think of. Plus, whatever they had was probably better than some leftovers anyway.

xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox The woman gave him a small smile in return. Mainly because she thought his was cute. "Hmm…food does sound good. Are you sure your games won't mind if I steal you from them ?" Melissa had taken a few steps so she was standing next to Riley. Now noticing how short she was compared to him. Maybe she should start wearing heels so she didn't look so short compared to everyone else. No maybe she shouldn't. Some people liked that she was much shorter than them. Plus it just wasn't something Melissa would want to do. Putting her phone away in her back pocket, she decided to ignore it for the moment. It wouldn't be any use to her now anyways. Leda was usually the only person that called her. And with the other blonde girl being too busy she was sure that she wouldn't miss anything if she just ignored it.

Riley found himself in that familiar position where he felt like he needed to pull out all the stops and show this girl just how awesome he really was. Not that that really took much effort. He smiled down at the girl when she moved closer to him. "Yeah, it'll be fine. Not like they can get very ******** far without me, huh?" He laughed before nodding and turning back to the stairs. He usually wasn't one for walking up and down these damn things so much, but he didn't want to seem like a big lazy bum in front of this girl. Thankfully, the walk wasn't very long as he led down the stairs and stopped at the bottom near the kitchen to wait for her. "Why don't you tell me some about you? Like why in the ******** would you want to move here?" He knew that the s**t this place had to offer was sure getting old and always found it a little hard to believe that people just kept coming in. What kind of appeal did they even have? The place was sort of exotic, but that didn't seem like a good enough reason to him. A small part of him had always wished they hadn't left home, but this s**t hole was home and he just had to deal with that. This place usually meant that he had to meet a bunch of shitheads, but lately he had been meeting a lot of hot girls.
Even though he didn't like to put forth the effort, he was trying to get somewhere here. That end destination happened to require he work towards swooning his new co-worker over some s**t dinner. He inhaled and tried to judge what in the world they were cooking, but wasn't entirely sure. Not that it mattered, he couldn't recall any meal he had had here that wasn't edible. He glanced back over at Melissa and imagined just how lucky she must feel. Not only did this big sexy beast of a man get to show her the ropes, now he was spending his free time with her. In that exact moment, Riley wished that he could switch places with her.

"That is true," She replied following him down the hall then back down the stairs. She wasn't really sure how to answer his question. Yeah, the island was a little boring but she wouldn't leave Leda to move here herself. That blonde woman was so lucky that she was her favorite... Taking a few careful steps down the stairs she gave him another smile,"Well it wasn't really my idea to move here. My best friend had brought it up. She said something about a new job and finding a cute place to stay. After that we just kind of packed up and headed here." Leda did forget to mention that the house was pretty tiny. She should probably start looking for her own place pretty soon. She loved Leda and all but Melissa hated the lack of space. Brushing her bangs out of her eyes, she hopped down from the last step. "What about you,Riley? Are you from here or did you move here too?"

Riley was nodding his head as he listened to her and casually took a few steps forward, glancing at her from time to time. Ah, so there was two of them? That was kind of hot. It brought to question just how close these two really were and just how long it would take to get them to share him. Nah, it was a little soon for him to try to spring that on her. Maybe if she was just some random bimbo, then it wouldn't be so bad. But, this wasn't just some regular old bimbo, this was someone that he would probably have to work with for awhile. It might be best if he kept the sexual harassment down to a minimum since he didn't much want to go look for a new job. He smiled over at her as she paused. At least he hadn't offended her with his slight trashing of the place. He was trying to think of anything that actually was fun around here. Sure, he had his games, but he could have that anywhere. That was when she switched the table on him and asked him about himself. It wasn't all too common that he met anyone that didn't know about his past, so it was a bit refreshing to be able to tell the story.
He flicked his hair out of his face and continued taking a few steps. "I'm clearly aging myself here, but I moved to this lovely place with my brother and sister about 15 years ago. My brother really wanted to get out of the city, and I was just out of high school and didn't want to put up with our parents s**t anymore. So, I tagged along." He smiled and stepped through the doorway into the restaurant area and turned from her to the view in front of them. He shrugged at the consistent lack of hostess and made his way to a table. "I guess this table will do." He sat down at a table close to the door and started looking through the menu. "So, you said you live with a friend? That's pretty cool. Probably spices it up a bit. I used to live with my siblings here, but they both moved out. Now I've got a bitchin' suite to myself."

Ezekiel had thought that this would be a wonderful way to meet new people and help charity, but he had no way of knowing that he would feel so sick. Unfortunately, he had applied to be a date long before he knew how he would feel. Although he desperately wanted to curl back up under the sheets, he was a man of his word and he pulled himself together. Now, he was heading to the restaurant to have his lovely dinner date with some girl that he didn't know. He had hastily put himself together and grabbed several rags, along with a deck of cards. He always had to bring the magic, even if he felt like he may throw up at any moment. He rubbed haphazardly at his nose while he walked down the street and had to occasionally remind himself to take deep breaths to save himself from hurling. The simple thought of having to choose something to eat made him feel even sicker. Oh, why did she have to choose the restaurant. Perhaps there would be something on the menu that would sound good. Some nice chicken noodles or some other form of light soup wouldn't be the worst thing. Yeah, he'd settle for some soup.
Before he knew it, he was standing in front of the place and slowly made his way up the stairs. He blew his nose a final time before entering and trying to straighten up his posture. He knew that he had to look a complete mess and even more pale than usual, but he was determined to have the magical date the auctioneer had promised this poor girl. He stuffed the rag back into his pocket and patted his other side to make sure his cards were still there when he noticed a bench that seemed like a good place to wait for his date. "Ah, yes." He mumbled to himself before sitting down and crossing his legs. Surely, she would be able to find him. He was the only magnificent looking person waiting for a date, after all.

Ah! It was finally time for her dinner date! While Elizabeth hadn't put much thought into the date itself, she did make sure to put some into her appearance. Her date needed to know just how lucky he was, after all. She had sat in her room, trying to pick out a dress and applying makeup for quite a while; It was true that she might be late, but that was okay, she was certainly worth the wait. Besides, it was good to show up to these kind of things a little bit late anyway, she didn't want to be giving the impression that she was too eager. Oh, how terrible that would be!
By the time she arrived at the restaurant, it seemed her date was already there. At least, she assumed it was, because who else would be sitting alone, looking like they were waiting for someone? Looks, like she was safe from giving an over eager impression this time. How long had he been waiting anyway? However long it was he was sure to be happy to see her! "Are you Ezekiel?" she approached the man. He was older than she was, and looked kind of gross and sickly. Still, it looked like underneath that sickliness there was potential to be attractive, and she had to take that into consideration. Just because someone didn't seem attractive initially, didn't mean it was hopeless. Not everyone was graced, with ever-present beauty like she was, and she had to be mindful of that. Oh, how nice she was! She smiled at the man, pleased with herself and how good she was. Oh wait, she hadn't introduced herself. "I'm Elizabeth!" the poor man was probably dying to know her name by now, and she couldn't withhold such information from her date!

The date was finally about to begin! While Ezekiel had been rubbing his nose into his rag, he hardly noticed the young girl enter the building. Once she had introduced herself and proven to be his date, he hopped up and smiled eagerly at her. He would normally have grabbed her hand and shook it, but he was afraid of spreading all of his germs to her. That wouldn't be a good date, would it? Instead, he grabbed out his wand and tapped his opposite hand to form a small flower which he handed to her. Oh, the good ole flower trick. How often had he used that in his life? Perhaps a bit too much... but at least it was never on her, yet! He handed the flower to her and with a smile bowed before her. "Yes, I am Ezekiel. It is a pleasure to meet you Miss Elizabeth." Then, with another nod of the head, he began walking towards the dining area. He noticed that there wasn't some proper person there to seat them, so he took it upon himself to find the best seat in the house.
"I'll find us the perfect table!" He mumbled between another coughing fit and started towards the windows. He assumed that the light from outside would help him to feel a little better, even if that was highly unlikely. The bonus was that the bathrooms were right there and he could run off to vomit if need be. Not that there would be any vomit. He wouldn't allow himself to even think of that. He took his seat and turned to make sure that Elizabeth hadn't run off on him. Oh, he hoped that she didn't. He didn't think he had the energy to chase after her.

Smiling nervously, Marie looked around the Inn's resturant, prepared for work. Being so new, she didn't get many tables, and being so quiet, by many she meant any. Things were bound to pick up though, right? And if not, then at least she would still have her small hourly paycheck, right? Her mother had been adamant about her getting a job as soon as they had moved to Nirvani, so the blonde over achiever had begun calling places for phone interviews the week before they moved out. She knew if she wanted something, she was going to be footing the bill on her own, so when the Inn called back Marie didn't even risk waiting for another call back. She promised to be in to meet them in person the day she hit the island. ' And now here I go, first day- new job- new city.' Her jaw was tight with nerves and her hands wrapped anxiously in her apron. Her eyes lit up as she saw a pair wandering the resturant and seating themselves; with a skip in her step, she snatched up a pair of menus and headed to their table. " Well hello," she coo'd softly as the man sat down. Her eyebrows lifted in mild concern as he proceeded to cough over her entrance and glance back for the young lady who he'd met. Placing the menus down on either side of the table, she addressed the man again, as he seemed to need what she offered, " Would you like some water?" OOC || And I'll just put this here. Yep.

Before getting an answer to her question, she watched in awe as the man made a flower out of seemingly thin air. "Wow!" she would have clapped her hand had he not handed the flower over to her. Even if this wasn't her date she'd be more than content to spend her evening with this man. He sure knew how to woo a lady. Her suspicion were soon cleared though, as the stranger revealed that he was indeed her date. Oh how wonderful! She knew she'd be able to pick out a good one, and he was polite too! Admitting it was a pleasure to meet her, which she knew, and that he'd take his energy finding the perfect table even though he was sick. Yes. She he was a keeper, though that was to be expected. How could she end up with anything less than the best?
She took her seat across the table from him. What magic would he conjure up next? She couldn't wait to find out; however, they were soon interrupted by a girl about her age. How dare this girl coo at her date! Oh wait, she was just the waitress, well in that case, she was forgiven. They needed someone to serve them, after all!

Ezekiel was starting to feel like this may not have been the best decision. Really, what was here for anyway? It wasn't like he even wanted a chance at romance with this young lady, lovely as she was. He had really just intended on helping charity while doing this girl some sort of favor. Little did he know that she would rather go on a date than use a slave in some other way. Maybe he should just excuse himself and slink away back to the comforts of his bed. He wouldn't be quite able to forgive himself if he made Elizabeth sick. It was while having an inward meltdown that Marie had appeared. He looked over at her, partly excited because a water really sounded amazing, and somewhat saddened because this whole thing seemed so real now. He couldn't possibly disappear after the menus had been given to them. He smiled up at the woman and nodded his head, while bringing his hand to his mouth to block another cough. "Yes, a water would be excellent." He blinked heavily, trying to fight back the watering eyes that had accompanied his heavy coughing.
He picked up his menu and began looking through it. "So, Elizabeth. Are you still in school?" He glanced over the top of the menu at her for a moment, yeah, she definitely looked like she was the right age to still be in school. Hmm... what sounded good? He thought he may throw up if he had anything that he would normally get like pasta, or wings. The only thing that even looked remotely good was the soup. Ah, he'd just have to settle for soup.

Nodding at the woman who'd followed the choking man to the table, Marie turned to fetch the beverage. He was choking, after all, there wasn't really a lot of time to politely dawdle. Something caught her eye as she turned away from the pair however; ANOTHER TABLE! They were already seated, menu's out but she didn't recall anyone leaving the kitchen area to greet them. They must have sat themselves. ' How! I missed a table!?!' she thought mortified as she hustled into the back to ready 4 glasses. Lining them up on the tray, if the other table didn't want water she could always just dump the glass out. Water didn't cost. If was polite, yes? At least give them something so they don't feel neglected!! Making her way to the set she had spoken with, she sat a glass in front of each. " Here we are, two waters, and if there is something else I can get you to drink Ma'am, just let me know." She stood back, smiling down at the pair. They had only just picked up the menus, so hopefully they were not quite ready to order their meals yet, that would give her time to greet and meet her other table. " I'll be back in just a few minutes to take your order." She brought the other two glasses of water along as she skip stepped towards the door. Their table had a slight breeze thanks to its location, but seemed comfortable at least. " Well, good afternoon! I'm terribly sorry I missed you!" Marie chirped, her face bright and enthusiastic as she set the water down, " Have you guys had a chance to look over the menu?" OOC || Bobbin' Around, Being Employed

"Yes, I am," Elizabeth answered, and nodded her head, "but I graduate this year," she added with a proud look on her face. She looked over her menu, just what did she want to eat? What was good date food? Maybe a nice pasta dish? Or perhaps she'd take a recommendation! She looked up to her date, eager to know his opinion, "So, what are you going to order?" surely it would be something wonderful! A man with such good manners should know just what proper date food was! Oh this was so much fun!
When the waitress returned she had planned to ask the woman what she recommended, yet the woman left as quickly as she had come. Elizabeth watched the girl head over to the other table. Did this waitress not realize just how important this table was? How dare she abandon them like that, especially when Elizabeth had a question to ask her. No, this would not do. This service simply was not good enough and she'd be sure to complain about it sometime in the future. For now though, she needed to stay calm and composed. It wouldn't be very romantic at all if she ignored her date to go complain about the waitress, and it certainly wouldn't be fair to him! For now she'd just have to continue to look over the menu.

XXXXXXXXXX Riley lowered his menu to look over at the new addition to their party. Hmm... he was certain that he hadn't seen this girl much before. Though, he generally didn't use the restaurant for dining. He typically just called down from his room and grabbed it to go. It was way more convenient to only take the few minutes to come get the food rather than taking the time to bother with a table when he was worried about saving the people of Arcadia, or whoever else it might be on that given day. So, it did make some sense that he hadn't met her. It was quite adorable how she seemed to care so much about her job. Ah, the youthful life. Riley could recall caring about his job and the way he performed it... oh wait. Nope, he couldn't. Because he was too ******** awesome to have to worry about some stupid s**t like that. If they didn't like the way cleaned, they could just do it themselves. It wasn't like people stayed in this s**t hole expecting five star service.
Ah, but back to the task at hand. There was a lovely young girl standing in front of him. He couldn't resist looking her up and down as she placed the waters on the table. "We have had a chance to look over the menu, but right now what I really want to look at is you. What's your name?" He placed the menu down and moved his hair to get the best view. Ah, so smooth. Drop that other b***h like it ain't no thang and move on to the next lively piece of meat. She looked younger, probably a lot easier to break in.
______________________________________________
Ezekiel nodded at the waitress, very glad that he now had water. He reached for the glass and quickly drank a large amount, willing the pain in his throat to subside. He placed the cup back down, now over half gone, and looked over at his date. "Oh, a senior? That's exciting." He was trying to show his genuine interest while using as few words as possible. He wasn't entirely sure that his throat could handle too many words right now. What was he going to order? He grabbed the menu back up off the table and skimmed through the list again. There were so many options and so much that didn't sound like it was particularly edible at the current moment. He looked back up at her and smiled. "I think I'm going to get the tomato soup." Yes, he didn't feel disappointed after saying it out loud, so it had to be the right decision to make. With that, he closed the menu and placed it in front of him before clasping his hands to make way for a formal conversation. "And you?" Hopefully she would know exactly what he was talking about. Before he could smile for longer than a few seconds, he entered back into a coughing fit and grabbed for the water glass once more. Oh, why wasn't there a magic trick that could make his sickness go away?
