Zachary felt a warm sensation surround him, nearly wiping out the sensation of something crawling on his body. It however, didn't keep him from looking away from the body. He had began to wonder if it was suicide. As he meditated on the different possibilities, he heard a voice which almost startled him from being soo focused on the body. He even surprised himself for being soo focused on the body, as though he could almost tell the cause of death. He jumped back when he saw the woman beside him. Wether she was younger or older, he couldn't tell. However, some feeling, or force, made him believe that he knew her from somewhere. It wasn't a customer, for this had been the first time he had seen someone with hair like hers. It flowed a red color almost too natural to Zachary. She seemed slightly shy as she had shopping bags pressed to her chest, as though she didn't want someone to see its' contents.

"I... I'm not sure." Zachary replied to the young lady. "I just got here. I would've asked you the same thing." he noticed that the lady was also cautious coming near him. He wouldn't doubt why. he was nearby a corpse and he could be the attacker himself. However, there was still something more to the woman that he couldn't figure out.

It was then that he realized that he was right outside of the GK building. If he was caught right now, he could end up being known as a Guardian. He couldn't even stay as a witness for fear of GKs' knowledge of him. However, how could he get away from the spot without suspicion, he knew not. "Hey." he started once again. "Have I met you before?" he said, deciding that possibly, he could find a way out of the situation without looking like a criminal running away from the scene of a crime.

xxx"The poetry of the earth is never dead."xx

xxxxxThe Earth Elemental went to hold his hand out to Boris, then realized how dirty he was in comparison. He must have looked like he had taken a fall from a tree then rolled around in the dirt. The air guardian seemed so prim and proper. He told the man before him, "Adam is my name. Pleased to meet you, Boris." Adam sized him up and then noticed one small little drop of blood on the Air Elemental's garments. Clearing his throat he asked, "so what gave you the great idea to go and kill one of our biggest enemies and leader of the company that owns over half the city?" It was the first time in a while that Adam actually had spoken to someone other than the wildlife that came to visit him. His voice sounded rough and deep. He knew that the Guardian in front of him would not care about the sound of his voice. The tone of his voice, though, may have come off as a bit threatening and he did not mean that at all. He was simply trying to piece together all of the puzzle that lie before him earlier.

Wondering how the young man could possibly have done this to a person made Adam wonder whose side he was one, if any. Sure, Mr. Keilman had taken part in destroying Guardians in the past, but he hadn't searched for any of them now. Or perhaps he didn't think any were still alive? This did not seem right to the Earth Guardian. He just wanted to know the other side to this story so maybe it could help him understand what was going on. Where George Keilman had once stood was definitely going to have someone secede that in nearly no time at all. And even worse, if the new leader had found out who Boris was, there would be a lot of hell to pay. Boris may perhaps have just created one of the biggest wars on the GK company that any man could ever have dreamed of starting.

Adam looked over his shoulder as some people were walking by and gently used his powers to make the ground Boris stood on uneven and push him a bit deeper into the forest. Feeling a bit bad, the Earth Elemental then sprouted a few white orchids near Boris' feet as an apology of sorts. it may have seemed a bit weird, but Adam did not really know how to show any of his emotions. Everyone seemed to like flowers and since he could create them, it was the first thing that he thought of. The Guardian knew his powers perhaps had caused a bit of pain or distress on the Wind Elemental and he waved his hand at the flowers in an attempt at an apology, "Sorry about that, Boris. i could not risk others hearing about what was going on." One thing that Adam had found quite intriguing was that all of the Guardians seemed to be popping up in the city that the GK members had the biggest stronghold in. As curious as Adam was, he first needed to hear from Boris what had actually happen mere minutes before.

Keeping her shopping bags close to her chest, Seraphine eyed the dead body on the ground for a few seconds. Did he jump? Why would one kill himself? Though, looking up to the sky high building, she noticed a broken window far, far up. That - to her - indicated on a fight and that this wasn't a suicide. Someone had killed this poor man. But perhaps he deserved it, what did she know, but it seemed like an unfair way to die. But then again, this was a GK facility, so he had to be one of them. Those people, this place, she didn't like it. At all. Knowing that she was so close to the building and a dead body made her uncomfortable the more she thought about it. Perhaps it was best for her to just leave. The male she was now with should too.

Seraphine managed to turn her attention elsewhere as the blonde male by her side spoke up and pulled her back into reality. He had just gotten there, just as she had, so he had no idea. The young girl frowned with a look of feeling very uneasy. "I see. Perhaps we should...call the police or something" she said, seeing the dead man's corpse from the corner of her eye. Shaking her head, her flaming read hair covered her face enough to avoid looking that way. She didn't want to see it. Calling the police was someone a normal person would do, but...she wasn't normal. And she definitely had no intention of being dragged in to something that had to do with GK! She didn't want to risk her life for a dead body!

"Hey. Have I met you before?" The question made Seraphine blink confusingly. "Hm...? N-no, I don't think we have met" she said without really thinking too much about it. Perhaps she had met him, what did she know? She met quite a lot of people when she was out. His question made her think that perhaps he felt something like she did; that maybe he felt her element. The feeling she got from him was...flashing, literary. Like thunder. No, like lightning. That bright, flashing light. Seraphine was actually quite surprised to find someone like her here out of all places. And a very bad place, that is. Deciding to try her luck, without sounding like a weirdo or a suspect, the girl swallowed once before opening her mouth. "I don't think it's very safe for us to be here. I don't want to get caught up in something around these parts of town" she said, hoping that he got her little hint. Maybe he would realize that she was a Guardian just like him. Well, at least she hoped he was or else she probably embarrassed herself.

The Earth Guardian's question flustered Boris. What was he thinking? Revenge? What good would killing one ant if the hill its self still existed? They had these abilities yet were being picked off one by one! Never had GK every really came and fought Guardians whose powers had fully matured. His footing became unsteady and his throat tightened not allowing air to access his lungs. Adam had used his element to further hide them in the forest, with an innocent jester of apology by creating beautiful white flowers that he he'd never seen before. In acceptance he smiled warmly at him, but his smile soon faded remembering the question he was supposed to be answering.
A war a usually friendly guy like him starting a war. This is what GK has made him into, what a horrible place this is. They were kids and GK most likely killed kids younger than he! Images of slaughtered children and their mothers littered his brain. He lifted his hands up to his head and massaged his temples. Such horrific things shouldn't be in a teenagers head, nor should he have to look over his shoulder constantly in fear of being caught, tortured, and killed.
Boris ruffled his hair looking for the right string of words for what he had done. At last a conclusion to his scrambled thoughts,
"I fully understand what I've done. It will take time for them to recuperate and attack immediately, in that time we can either run of face them in a war to end this once and for all! I'm sick of being hunted and losing those close to me. Will you help me to end this?" If he was to agree they would have to find others to help in support their cause. Shouldn't be to hard since most Guardians Hatted Gk for obvious reasons. If he didn't accept his plea would they fight or would he simply let Boris be on his merry way? He looked at Adams emotionless features trying to find a hint of anything to help his clause. He stood silently waiting to see what would happen next.

xxxxx❝Please tell me you're going to appeal to my humanity.❞

XXXXXAll Frederick could hear was a horrid silence ringing through his ears. He could tell there were things going on around him, but as he scattered through the remains of the desk and stared at the letter before him, it was completely still. Not a moment had gone by that he had not given a thought that this must be a nightmare. I will wake up from this and all shall be better. I will wake up and Dad will be perfectly fine. It's all just a nightmare. It has to be. Those around the deranged man could most likely hear him mumbling things like that to himself. He had no idea that he was doing it, but at least he wasn't talking to himself and answering back. The man was not crazy, no. It was just the denial that was surging throughout his entire body. The grieving stages were hitting him like a train with no brakes. Right now he was in complete denial about all that had happened. Feeling as though everything was a crude dream had made Frederick feel a bit more okay. As he started to calm down and clear his mind, there was a soft cry just within earshot. the young man looked up to see that Lulu was crying on the ground and Spencer seemed not too far away from her.

Organizing the papers at his feet, the new leader stood up and walked over to two of his most trusted employees. He shook every bit of sad and hurt he could off him and stared at the two with a blank stare. He picked Lulu up and set her on his shoulder. He walked over to Spencer and started signing to him, telling him that the situation could be taken care of by the cleaning crew and those under their command. He led the two down the hall to an empty room then set Lulu down and slammed the door shut tightly. He walked over and looked out the glass window at all of the people scrambling below. He hissed and slammed a fist against the glass. Turning towards the two, and signing as he spoke for Spencer, he told them, "Look at all of them down there, unknowing of the hell that has been brought upon us. They have stolen our leader, boss, mentor and a father. The Guardians shall truly pay this time. if they had ever known the word mercy from George, they will never learn it again from me. I will not stop until every one of them suffers the pain and agony that I have today."

Frederick turned and walked over to a wall and thought for a moment and let them think and collect on what he had just told them. He still could not believe how an Elemental had gained access to he building and anyone could let them just waltz in to the boss' room. Frederick started getting a little paranoid, thinking that someone inside of the clan had devised this whole plan. His head started spinning as Frederick looked around the room and let his mind race. He punched the wall so hard the drywall shattered and he hit the metal beams on the inside. His hand was cut up in spots now and he let out a loud roar. He snapped back to the to before him and started pacing around the room, "someone inside the building had to have helped devise this plan. It couldn't have just been a coincidence. We can't trust anybody anymore. There's only the few select people I know will help. These Guardians are using their mind tricks to get our people on their side. It must be the reason why our boss was killed."

Some could say that Frederick truly was acting like a crazy man, but look at everything he had lost. He lost his boss, so then he was told he'd have to take over the company when even he felt as though he was not ready to do that yet. He lot a mentor, his teacher and friend that had helped him discover himself and mature throughout his life was gone. And lastly, his father. the man that had adopted him and taken him under his wing was now gone. His one and only father figure was gone and now he was to be on his own. Frederick was being torn down, piece by oiece, and there was nothing that anyone could do to help. The best thing to d onow would be to go to bed and accept it. Starting to plead for everything to go back to normal, Frederick cried a bit. Please, just give him back, I am begging you. If this is for every bad thing I have ever done, i can change. I promise I can change. He leaned against the wall nearest his two companions as his thoughts raced even more. A few tears fell from his cheeks to the floor. He had no idea what to do and no clue where to start. The decisions were all up to him.

❝There are no men like me.❞

The sad and hurt look in Frederick's eyes faded into nothing but a blank stare as he looked at Spencer and Lulu. The blonde male stood quite while everyone around them scurried about, trying to fix things and clean up the mess. He then only nodded once at what he was told about letting the cleaning crew take care of the rest. Of course they would. That was why there were there in the first place - to clean up their mess. Even though this wasn't the kind of mess they usually had to clean up, they still had to do it.

Spencer followed Frederick as he walked down the hall with Lulu on his shoulders. As they arrived to an empty room, the door was slammed shut as he had gotten in. His eyes followed every move the slightly taller male made and watched him set Lulu down. The blonde male gently crossed his arms, thinking about why this had happened now. Why? That was always the question to seem to have the fewest answers in the universe. Why, why, why? Why do bad things happen to good people as Mr Keilman? It's not fair! Not at all! The Guardians - those stupid elemental people - had no right to do such thing! They were the ones who needed to disappear from the surface of the earth. They were unnatural. Supernatural powers belonged in stories and fairy tales; not in real life.

His thoughts were cut off when he noticed Frederick turn to them. While talking, he signed to Spencer even though it wasn't necessary all the time. He read lips - Frederick and everyone else knew that - but using sign language was also to make sure he understood everything that was said in case he missed out on a few words. The blonde male nodded to show that he understood what was said. Raising his hands slowly, Spencer tried to think of something to say. “I don’t want to say something that might hurt him more…” he thought, running a hand through his blonde hair and scratched his neck. He was usually really bad at comforting people who were sad and needed to be comforted. The best thing he could come to think of was running up to the man and hug him, but he knew Frederick probably wouldn’t really appreciate that, so he just stood there. His eyes fell on Lulu for a second, wondering if she truly understood what had happened. She was very young after all; only a child.

Spencer’s eyes followed as Frederick paced back and forth in the room after hitting the wall hard enough to make the drywall shatter. He must’ve punched really hard, seeing as his hand was bleeding. He needed to take care of that so that it didn’t get infected. The dark haired male was talking out loud as he was pacing around the room. It was hard for Spencer to catch everything he said, but something about “can’t trust anybody” and “Guardians” and “killed”. What did he make of that? Not much, actually. But he didn’t mid. He was sure he would understand what he was walking about in time.

The blonde male watched as Frederick leaned against a wall, the sadness coming over him again. It really hurt to see him like that. He had been by Spencer’s side for so many years and helped him to learn to live with the handicap his accident caused. Even though they actually only worked together, Frederick was as close to a friend as he had ever had since he lost his hearing. All his other friends he had grown up with stopped wanting to hang out with him because he couldn’t hear them. “They didn’t want to have a handicapped friend” someone had told him. So Spencer spent much time in the GK business along with his parents instead, getting to know everyone and even got his job there.

Spencer looked at Lulu and ran a hand through her hair with a small, sad smile. He then turned his attention only to see Frederick cry. There was a sting of pain in his heart from the sight. Feeling that he needed to do something, Spencer walked up to the dark haired male and gently and carefully dried his tears with the same sad smile he had given to Lulu. “We are here for you, you know. I can’t hear you, but I will still listen if you need to talk about it” he signed and stopped for a second think of anything else to add. “Whatever you want to do to avenge your father, I will help you. And I’m sure Lulu will to.” He turned to look at the young girl and then back at Frederick.

xxx"The poetry of the earth is never dead."xx

xxxxxAdam stood in silence for a while, pondering what Boris had just told him. He could see the frustration emanating from the Air Guardian. Giving a small sigh and turning to look around through the forest, the Earth Guardian walked over to a tree and slumped against it. He understood what was being said to him and he knew he needed to tell the other Guardian a decision, but Adam liked to take his time and ponder things. He was quite the thinker and he took time to make decisions when they were as important as this one was. Some could say he was like a stone in this sense. Knowing that the Guardians had enough on their plate, he was not up for a fight with another that could end in the death of one of them. The leaves grew over Adam's legs and basically made a blanket on him so that he could just sit and rest. Motioning for Boris to take a seat he leaned his head back and stared up at the sky.

Adam was definitely a man of little words. Boris would have to understand that he rarely talked with people and was quite a different man than most others. The time that it took for Adam to finally even utter a word probably seemed like ages. He told the Air Guardian before him, "well, in my opinion... I think we should first attempt to find other Guardians. We can not face an empire with the two of us." He was neither agreeing nor declining Boris' offer to aid him in the take down of GK. That would require quite a bit of thought still and he did not want the Air Guardian to find him a threat. Adam sat with his same straight face, but there was a hint of curiosity in it. The young Guardian looked over and examined the Air Elemental. He was attempting to crack that outer shell the Guardian before him was showing. It didn't seem that the Guardian before him had always felt this way and may be having a small internal struggle.

There was a feeling of mutual understanding after the earth Guardian began to think. His family hated him when they found out what Adam truly could do. Turning him in to the members of GK was the cruelest and saddest thing that had ever happened to Adam. Perhaps that is why he secluded himself from people and didn't talk much. They didn't do many things except use him to manipulate plants and grow cultivation for their own personal benefit. They had made him further their business and success farther than what it was at the time. Then one day, they just let him go. They basically used him for their own personal gain until they felt what he had done was enough. He had always pondered why they let him go. Perhaps it was because they needed me for use in the future? Maybe they had felt merciful? Or maybe they just started to change their ways and didn't want to kill an innocent? For whatever reason this was, Adam did not know, but he was glad to be alive in this day and age. He stayed near the city the whole time to watch over other Guardians and make sure that GK did no harm to any of them. Adam sighed as he let his thoughts go and turned to Boris, expecting a plan of action from him. He could take the lead since Adam was not really the best leader in the area.

Zachary exclaimed "NO!" without thinking when the lady mentioned calling the police. He covered his mouth right after, though it was already too late. He wouldn't dare even concider the option of calling the police himself. He would probably then be stuck behind enemy lines... Right in front of the 'death trap' building for Guardians. He had almost been caught once, back in another country, but with luck, he was able to escape with his life, and hopefully with his identity. He knew that if GK knew who he was, he would be dead within the week. Of course, the poor man laying on the street needed attention and, if he was a normal 20 year old business manager, he would have given it. He felt sad for the death of anyone, GK included. Perhaps they were both just misunderstood groups. As he took control of himself, he looked back at the lady. She was just as traumatized as he was, if not more.

Her next comment set him in a mental pause. "I don't think it's safe for us to be here." she said, emphasizing the 'us'. What did he have in comparison to ... It hit him. The woman in front of him was very similar to him. Not in a sense of personality, as she seemed to have a more fiery spirit to her. However, that was also the similarity... Fire. She was a guardian. She, like him, was being hunted by these same people. That could also be the great reaction and dread she carried in her eyes when she looked at the corpse. His eyes shot open upon realizing this. Had he not been someone to look over details, he would've missed it completely.

"We need to go." he then replied, completely agreeing with her. "Who knows when GK staff will come down. If it wasn't a suicide, they'll come looking for us." He took a deep breath. He had never expected to be the one to meet a guardian. He was always 'on the run' so to say. He never was in the same place for too long. Luckily, that was his strong point as he was really hard to find. He knew that, if possible, it would be best to get as far from here as possible. However, for now, he just wanted to get into hiding. "I have a hotel where we could stay until we figure out what to do."

He took a few steps back. If he knew that the red-headed girl could catch up, he would have started running. He however waved her to follow and walked at a speedy pace. "If you really are who I think you are, I'm Zachary, of lightning. You can call me Zack though." He took one final look back at the scene, wondering if there were other Guardians nearby. Was all that was happening a connection?

Rania Kai Verina

Rania hated the city, she hated the fact that she had visit at least once a week in order to get the supplies she needed in order to survive. She looked around her surroundings with a frown, all the water around her was polluted in some way and she hated it. She had just left the supermarket and even the bottle of water that they sell had some unnatural element in it, the thought made her frown even more when she noticed the people on the street drinking the contaminated filth they called water. So sad, they all think they're drinking something good for their bodies. She sighed as she turned her eyes towards the sky, barely taking notice to the fact that she was getting close to the GK building.

She felt a spark ignite inside of her and she snapped her head down, scanning the GK building. She noticed a large crowd but couldn't place why she felt as if electricity was running through her veins. She moved closer to the crowd and, with little difficulty, moved up front to see what the commotion was about. The first thing she noticed was the current felt stronger but before she could look around and find the source she noticed a body on the ground. "How sad and disgusting all at the same time." She examined as much of the man's face as she could,
he must be a GK employee. She looked up towards the top of the building, I don't think he jumped from that height. Is someone trying to start a war?

She knelt down closer to the body, her bags still in hand but resting on the sidewalk. She let a few bags go and used her newly freed hand to hover it over the man's mangled face and closed her eyes. "You may be my enemy," she whispered, "But no one should wish this fate on anyone." She opened her eyes and withdrew her hand, she grabbed a hold of her grocery bags once more and stood. Looking over the body a few more moments before turning to leave. The feeling of electricity running through her veins was becoming a bit too much for her to handle.

Let the gentle waves touch your soul and calm your heart.

The male beside him didn't seem too happy about her suggestion about calling the police. But in all honesty, she realized it wasn't a good idea. At all, actually. But instead of commenting on his reaction, Seraphine just looked at him, though looking a little shocked. "No, I'm sorry. We shouldn't..." she finally said. As a fellow Guardian, she figured that he didn't want to get caught. The thought of being caught by the GK scared her. What did they do to the ones they managed to track down? Were they just killed? Shaking her head softly, Seraphine concentrated on the male before her. She didn't want to think too much about it.

While keeping her eyes on the blonde, she noticed how he seemed to get her little hint, seeing as his eyes widening a bit. Glad to be right about her feeling, she nodded when he agreed that they should get going. "From the look of it, it doesn't look like suicide" she said, looking up at the broken window again before looking at the male beside her. The fact that he was a Guardian was now clear as the day as he mentioned that the GK would come look for them. Well, she didn't want that. Not that she'd ever had any problem with the GK before, but she knew that they would find her eventually if she wasn't careful enough. Seraphine took one last look at the dead body before yet again turn her attention to the Guardian beside her as he said he had a hotel nearby. "Sounds good. I just want to get out of here" she said. Who knew when the GK staff would come down?

Seraphine watched as the blonde male started to walk away and hurried along. The heels of her slightly high heeled shoes made a clicking sound every time she put her feet down. If she knew she'd be running around town for as long as she had, she would have gotten other shoes! Her feet would most definitely start to ache after this. The sound of the blonde male's voice was heard; he presented himself as Zachary - or Zack - and that he was the Guardian of lightning. Seraphine couldn't help but to smile softly. "I thought I felt something from you. I'm Seraphine, guardian of fire" she said, almost a bit happy to have found someone like her.

A faint feeling of weakness suddenly hit her. Almost like she was suddenly getting tired and had no energy. She couldn't really figure why. Shaking her head slightly, she looked straight ahead so that she didn't bump into someone. "I haven't met that many of us before" Seraphine casually said, trying to think of something else than the scene behind her. Though, she still wanted to have one last look. Looking back, she noticed a girl not too far away. Was she the one that made her feel like this? It couldn't possibly be another Guardian! Or could it..? "Do you feel anything...strange? Or is it just me?"

Raina didn't pay much attention as she moved away from the scene but she couldn't helpt but to slow her steps when she felt a pair of eyes on her. She stopped completely and turned, she scanned the crowd and the first thing that caught her attention was flaming red hair. She tilted her head slightly to the side as their eyes met, the electricity running through her veins felt uncomfortable but for some reason she didn't want to leave just yet. She's staring at me. She turned her body completely to face the woman she had locked eyes with, is she an enemy or a friend?

She knew it was a risky move but she placed her bags on the sidewalk before bringing her hand up, a small stream of water jumped from her fingers. It was gone as fast as it came but she was sure the woman saw it. She tore her eyes away from the woman to look towards the building, no one had seem to notice her small trick. She knelt back down and picked up her bags when she noticed some GK men coming from the building. She sent a smile the red heads way before quickly turning her heal and making her way towards her home.

The further she got away from the GK building and the city the feeling of electricity slowly faded and a small smile settled on her lips as she approached the forest. She could feel the fresh water running through the nearby river.
This is what real water feels like She made her way towards the river, using her instincts rather then her sight. She was in front of a small cottage near the river and her smile only grew. Home sweet home.

She moved towards the door and easily pushed it open with a bump of her hips. Once inside the small cottage she placed all her bags onto the kitchen table before making her way back outside. She moved towards the edge of the river and slipped off her shoes. She sat on the edge and slipped her feet into the cool liquid, placing her hands by her knees and leaning forward to watch the small creature travel through the current.

Let the gentle waves touch your soul and calm your heart.

The ladys' heels clicked as she seemed to try and keep up. He couldn't realize that he missed such a detail on her. She couldn't spend too much time trying to catch up to him and he would feel terrible if he kept her running his pace. "I'm sorry." he said, slowing down so she wouldn't have to walk as fast. He was sure that possibly, they could get out of trouble in time. "And here, I thought it was just a feeling of indigestion." he joked, trying to lighten up the mood. They both needed a spirit booster after what they just saw after all. Guardian of fire. The title flowed just as smoothly as her hair. It fit her perfectly.

Zack began to slow down to a stop. He did so for two reasons: first, to give Seraphine an opportunity to stay caught up. The second was for a feeling, similar to when he met Seraphine, flow through him. There was a slight difference. Instead of the warm covering sensation, it felt as though it flowed through every bone he had, like some liquid found its' way through his veins. He looked back. "Me neither." he said, referring to having ever encountered other Guardians. He then noticed it. Through the crowd of people that now began to surround the body, there was someone in specific that caught his interest. A lady, around the same age as them, knelt between the mix of people, near the body. Had he assumed that it would be impossible to meet two Guardians in one day, having never met one in his life, he would have expected the lady to be one.

It wasn't until Seraphine commented on a feeling she had, that he began to really wonder if it really was another Guardian. Why? Why were there three guardians here? coincidences like this don't just happen daily. "It's not just you." he replied, taking a look back at Seraphine. "This can't be true." He felt like he needed to get her attention, but how? She just started to get up and was leaving the scene. The lady then did the unexpected. Had he not been paying attention, he would have missed it easily. It was an invitation.

As the lady left, Zachary looked back at Seraphine. The woman they both just witnessed was calm. Collected. She seemed confident that she wouldn't get caught. At least, that's what it seemed like. He was happy to know there were Guardians who aren't too nervous with the GK as their neighbor. "I say we follow her." he decided. Perhaps, she had other Guardians where she was leading off to. "What do you think?"

Lulu ....{{ B r u n g e r }}

Lulu wiped her tears away with her sleeping gown sleeve. What was going on? Why was Frederick so upset? She felt a presence behind her and she slowly turned her head to look at the visitor. It was Spencer. She loved Spencer. Even though he couldn't talk, she very much enjoyed his company. Sniffling, she tried to contain herself so that she wouldn't look like a complete baby. Besides... She was eight about to be nine soon. She was NO baby. Lulu gave Spencer a friendly smile and greeted him with a wave. Suddenly, Frederick picked her up and set her up on his shoulders. She let out a small giggle and rested her cheek on top of his head. She ran her tiny fingers through his raven hair. Frederick's hair was so soft! 'Just like a kitten.' She thought.

Frederick led the two into a room. He picked her up and sat her back down on the ground. She smiled at the two, but it was in vain. Frederick slammed his fist against the glass of a window and her smile quickly vanished. What was... Going on...? There were words that he used that poor ignorant Lulu didn't know the meaning to, but she didn't dare utter a word. She's never seen him like this. Blood lust twinkled in his eyes and she slowly stepped towards Spencer hugging his leg. Once Frederick punched the wall, Lulu buried her face into Spencer's leg. Why couldn't we trust people? Were the Guardians really bad people? Why would they want to hurt us and Mr. Keilman? Clinging to the blond boy's pant's leg, she peeked back at Frederick.

As Spencer ran his finger's through her hair, she looked up at him and gave him a soft smile in return. She slid her hand in his and they walked over to Frederick. Spencer was signing to Frederick, but she couldn't catch all of it. She in the process of learning, but only can make out a few basic phrases. Feeling that this was an appropriate time, she extended her thumb, pointer finger, and pinkie finger while keeping the middle and index finger down. Reading:
'I love you.' The brown haired girl smiled at the two and replied, "Both of you."

She hated seeing Frederick cry. The Guardian's took much more than just Mr. Keilman... They took a piece of everyone. Looking up at Frederick, she grabbed his hand as if to reassure him that everything was going to be okay. "We're here for you, Frederick." It was time to step it up. No more crying and getting feelings hurt. She had to do her job and find these elementals, not just for the sweets, but for Frederick and Spencer. The two closest people she would ever consider family.

And with this notion... She wasn't afraid this time. She wasn't afraid of putting herself in harms way for these two. Lulu didn't know much about the real world, but seeing a smile on his and Spencer's faces was her world... And that's all that mattered.

You'd sell your soul
For a lonely, insignificant piece of cake
While at the same time...

You retain much in common
With said piece of cake
Both are vile, artificial, and fake.

Boris watched Adam quizzically as he moved to sit against a tree. He arms folded to rest against his chest, not fidget with his hands while waiting for a response. Seeing he Earth Guardian jester for him to sit meant to him that this may take awhile. Taking a few steps he joined Adam at the base of the tree. Getting comfortable he lay his head to rest upon his knees. The silence between the two wasn't awkward nor tense, it was tranquil enough to put one to sleep.
Looking over the forest lazily his attention was soon drawn back to Adam with his response. He had known they'd need more people he wasn't that crazy even if current events may say otherwise. However finding them was another task all together. Giving out a sigh as he spoke,
"That's the more obvious, yes. I'll at least need to ask for your help in finding them, if you decline to assist taking down GK."
The situation had left Boris quite hungry, exhausted, and in dire need of a fresh pair clothes. Bringing himself to standing position he brushed the dirt from his clothes. Glancing at Adam still at his place on the ground,
" Before anything we should both become more appealing to the face of society,in other words get cleaned up."He gave a genuine smile at the rather messy appearance of the Guardian before him. It did after all make sense for an Earth element to be more at home covered in Earth.
Not caring if he got dirty in the process, he extended his hand to Adam offering to help him up on his feet. Boris wore a light grin as he spoke once again,
Shall we go now, Adam."

xxxxx❝Please tell me you're going to appeal to my humanity.❞

XXXXXSpencer and Lulu had always been there for Frederick and he had respected that. Ever since they had all met it was like a small family had started. There were a few select people in the company that were as close as them. They shared the pain, the pleasure and the promise that had all come from running different parts of the business. But now everything seemed to all be on them to take care of. Hell, Lulu wasn't even in the double digits yet and all of this was being brought upon her. She probably had no clue what was going on. Then there was Frederick and Spencer. The two of them had always gotten along, especially since he would fight anyone that had made fun of Spencer or even dared to say anything negative about him. They were both his friends and he would listen to them no matter what. You always had to respect what you have and treat them with kindness. they were Frederick's family now for real and he did not want to lose them also.

Lulu had signed to him hat she loved them. She loved both of them. this made Frederick temporarily snap out of his state of disarray. He stood up straight, wiping off his eyes a bit as though he had never been crying in the first place. He nodded and told them both, "I love you both also, you are my family now." Spencer was like his brother. there were times he remembered when they would go around and just hang out, climbing trees or playing in the river. Those were much more simpler times back then. As they grew older, they would find interesting ways to pick up women or pull pranks on guys that would embarrass them in front of friends, family or potential love interests. It was like they were an inseparable pair of twins. They just happened to not be the same age, same looks or same parents. And then there was Lulu. The little sister of the group. It had always seemed like Lulu was lonely and wanted friends to play with, so what better way to make a girl happy then to take her under your wing and give her what she wants. They were like her older brothers and took care of her as much as they could. Giving her everything she needed and protect her like brothers should.

He felt a small hand gently rest in his and looked down to see that Lulu was holding both his and Spencer's hands. When he had looked up, Spencer told him that he would help and they would do whatever he needed. They were true friends of his. He calmed down a bit, but this time it was a little too much. He knew they wanted to help, but the best thing right now would be for him to be alone and gather up his father's things. He wanted to examine it, look through it all. Make sure there wasn't something he was missing that could perhaps lead him to finding who had done this. Frederick wanted to spend his time studying all the notes on the Guardians. Perhaps he could start making notes to find the whereabouts or what the guardians look like. The personality traits. He wanted to profile each and every one of them so that he knew every strength and weakness of the Guardians. He would take them down one by one until he found his father's killer and made him suffer in the same manner that he had.

Spencer had offered for him to talk about it. The best thing to do would be to work out his feelings and tell others what was going on in his mind. He should get everything out in the open and tell them. However, Frederick was not that kind of person. He could not possibly let his emotions get the better of him. He was cold and cruel when it came to showing any sort of sympathy for the Guardians or anyone that got in his way. He did something that both of them probably would not have expected though. He pulled them both towards him and gave them a hug. He squeezed tightly and patted both of their heads, then turned around and stared towards the window sadly. Today had been a very stressful day and even someone like Frederick had needed a hug to make him feel better. He held his hand up in the I love you symbol.
