Amadia sniffed at Junjie's robes before he moved away, exposing a small keinling that had been hiding under them. She stepped back, feeling the hesitancy coming from the young one. She could tell he was shy and didn't want to frighten him anymore than he already was. "Hello." Amadia used her voice so that everyone could hear. It wasn't something she did too often as it needed to be worked on. Most times she couldn't form too many large sentences. Her voice cords were still developing for spoken speech.

Her head swiveled to the steps as she watched Lanzecki bound up them, Uassae slinking behind him like he was hunting him. Amadia snorted at the pair. They were certainly entertaining to watch it seemed. She gave one last look at Kilian, and seeing that he was thoroughly occupied made her own way up to the roof, the small keinling, that had been under Junjie's robes, following behind her.

Kilian watched Amadia interact with the keinling and smiled. He really didn't know what he'd do without that keindred of his. She had grown so close to him in such a short time. He'd been so deeply wrong about her when they'd first met. His eyes wandered back over to Erionda as she talked. When she introduced the two of them he looked over at Junjie.

"Hello." He said in a clipped manner. Kilian wasn't usually rude. So it was a surprise, even to him, with the way he had responded. Shaking his head he looked down at the water packs in the doorway when Erionda mentioned them. He grabbed a couple of the heavier packs and carried them over to the barrels and poured them in.

"A cold drink does sound good." Kilian held his own water skin upside down, a few drops of water dripped from the opening. "We ran out shortly after getting here. It is so much hotter here than I had imagined." He frowned as he looked at Erionda. Her features echoed those of the Aisko. Ice. How was it that she was able to live in such a dry, hot place?

Erionda gave a pleased smile as both the young men moved to help her. Taking a step back so they could do the work. Once the skins had been emptied, Rio moved to grab a glass from the shelves. Moving to fill them with water adding a touch of her magic to cool the water. "Here." She said offering the cups to each of her guests in turn.

"I figured you might be thirsty. I think I've mentioned before that my Drakein and I go through ample amounts of water. It's hard to stay so cool in so much heat. Even worse when it makes it so you cant sleep." Taking a cup for herself Erionda settled into a chair back at the table. Offering room for the other two to sit with her.

"Thanks for the help with the dragons earlier Jun. I'm sorry about the confusion with Kilian. Most Oblivionite's who come in this general direction are either heading for that golden tree. Or, they have come in hunt of me. How did you find my place anyway?" Erionda asked turning her head to question Kilian.

Junjie found himself glancing over at the Oblivionite, Kilian, as he took the cup that Erionda had chilled for him. It seemed as though the guy didn't like him much, didn't it? It was a curious thing, making him wonder what it might be that he'd done to make Kilian so curt with him. It must have been something... what though, he couldn't say, all that he knew was that they must have gotten off on the wrong foot somehow. What a bother, he would rather have been able to make friends with him, not only because he was quite interesting at a glance but also because he was Erionda's friend. Perhaps there was still a chance of it he told himself in a hopeful manner before he moved to take one of the seats at Erionda's table.

"It's nice to sit down in a proper chair again." He commented, giving Erionda a smile as he did so. Before coming to Erionda's place, and even before coming to Eowyn, he'd been in Ayr. Neither place, even the Sage's dwelling, could be considered all that cozy he thought to himself. Her place was much nicer, much more welcoming, reminding him a bit of home. He really needed to get back there soon he thought to himself as he lifted his cup to his lips, drinking from it slowly, savoring the cold water. Another thing he missed as his water skin had a tendency to heat up when he walking around the sun parched lands of Eowyn. It was only after spending time in both Ayr and Eowyn that he found himself thinking that maybe he was a bit spoiled while he was at home, as well as spoiled. It was probably equal parts both he thought to himself before he got a curious look on his face about something that Erionda was talking about.

Unable to help himself he asked, "There is a golden tree in Eowyn?" He asked, his features lighting up with curiosity over such a thing, "Is it made of gold or just gold in color?" An important thing if you asked him because that determined what the tree looked like, was made of, and how heavily guarded it must be. Either way it was something he made a mental note to attempt to visit one day soon.

Kilian watched as Erionda filled up the glasses. He reached out to take the offered glass from her hand and inhaled as his fingers made slight contact with her's. They were so cold. His sockets widened as he looked away. "Thank you." He said as he took a sip of the water and sat down in the chair opposite of Junjie.

He kept sipping his water. It really was nice to have the cool liquid flowing down his throat. His water had turned warm long ago, before he had even made it through the desert. Sighing in relief he relaxed a bit more, still watchful of Junjie. He didn't trust the man. Of course, that was to be expected. He didn't know a thing about him. Just that he was Erionda's friend. That, in and of itself, should have made him feel more at ease but it didn't.

Kilian started at Erionda's question. He scratched the back of his head. "The only clue I had was from an Oblivionite in town. He said you were in the desert." He shrugged. "He obviously didn't know where in the desert or didn't care. After that, I just traveled around. Happened upon your place by pure accident really." He smiled slightly as he looked back over at Erionda. "Glad I did."

Erionda glanced back towards Junjie as he spoke. Puzzled she tilted her head to the side and ran her fingers through her hair. To be fair she didn't really know the answer to that. All she knew what the tree wasn't far from her home, and all the races seemed intent on it. Rio had never taken the plunge into going to see the tree herself. Mostly because it was always occupied by others, or battles seemed to swell around it. Blinking to focus the young woman shrugged her shoulders, sipping at the cool liquid. "I don't really know to be fair, Junjie. I haven't visited the tree myself. I know of rumors and the attention it seems to draw. I have no desire to travel there. Certainly not since I'm so clearly... well... a hybrid."

Turning her attention to Kilian a small frown on her face. "I, I shouldn't be surprised anyone from the village port know where I am. They always come out here, I'm like a prized hunting target." She gave a sigh. "At least the Kiandri seem to keep the border of my home and the oasis clear of most of them. Looking up at the glass case in the corner Erionda sighed. She wasn't sure how long the Kiandri would stay away before they chose to make her their next meal.

Wanting to brighten the strange mood Erionda smiled warmly up at Junjie. "You know, you're welcome here anytime Jun. You can even stay while you're training. The place is pretty safe. Numbers have a large part to play in things too right? You too Kilian, unless you're just passing through?"

Junjie nodded as Rio spoke of how she didn't know about the tree due to having never visited it herself. He was amazed, how could she live so near to something so amazing without visiting it? The question was obvious of course, the same reason that he had done little to no travel outside of his own yard when he was little, it was because the two of them weren't people that were easily welcomed by those around them. Giving a glance toward Kilian he found himself getting that unfriendly and unwelcoming vibe from him. Odd given that he seemed to be more then happy to see Rio... though perhaps that was the issue? He glanced between the pair of them for a moment, listening to them chat about how Kilian had found her.

The idea that there were those that came here hunting his friend was something that caused him to tense up for a moment, not liking the sound of that in the least bit. A prized hunting target? As though she were some sort of animal or dragon he thought to himself, one wing giving a slight twitch behind him. At least the Kiandri were here to act as a natural sort of deterrent though that meant that he should be hunting ones that weren't in this area so as not to kill off her natural body guards due to simple training purposes. Best that he traveled away from here so that the Kiandri that were keeping the hunters away were left intact he decided. When she was turning to give him a smile, offering him a place to stay while he was training, he gave a smile and a nod, "That is a very kind offer, Erionda, thank you." He said, wings giving a flutter of delight. It was a kind offer and one he might have to take her up on since he was gonna be training in the area for a time due to the sage's orders.

When she gave the same offer to Kilian, unless he was just passing through, he turned to give the Oblivionite a curious look, wondering if he were sticking around. If so he would feel better about it, knowing that if anyone was able to get passed the Kiandri that he would be there to aid in keeping Erionda safe. Not that he would say that out loud, he knew how tough she was, saw her actually go up and punch a dragon once. Best he keep the thought to himself and not risk getting a punch in the arm himself, "Are you sticking around the area, Kilian?" He asked of the Oblivionite, deciding to try once more to make some friendly chatter with the guy. It was proving difficult and if it didn't work this time it might be his cue to pack his back and take a hike. The guy came all this way to meet with Rio after all, not Rio's random friend.

Kilian gritted his teeth at the mention of those that hunted Erionda. It was as if other Magescians treated her as a dragon. He shook his head at the thoughts and shoved them to the back of his mind. He did not want to think about that right now. At the moment, all he wanted was to enjoy the fact that he had actually found her home.

His gaze settled on Junjie as she extended the offer for him to stay. He had to hold back his feelings about that. He jumped a bit as Erionda turned her attention to him and extended the same offer. With a slight smile he nodded. "I'd appreciate it very much." He said in response to her question. "I am not passing through.

I was searching for you." He turned his head back to the other hybrid. "Though I did not expect you to have company." He said more snappish than he had meant to. His voice softened as he turned his gaze back to Erionda. "I really do appreciate the offer but if you'd rather catch up with your old friend I'd understand."

((Do you guys want to end this soon?))

Erionda's head moved from one man to the next. Confusion evident on her face, if she didn't know better she would have guessed there were sparks flying between the two of them. Shrugging she drank the rest of her water and placed the glass of the table. "Well you're both welcome to stay then." Erionda smiled at Kilian. "I do have a spare room after all. Besides Junjie's actually the first kind person I met."

Pushing her chair away from the table Erionda moved to stand. "Would anyone like some bread? Or meat?"

Junjie starred for a moment as Kilian explained, to Erionda, that he wasn't passing through, that he was searching for her, and that he hadn't expected her to have company. The last part said in such a tone that said that he would much rather this be a private visit then one that involved an audience. He lifted his cup to his lips, draining it, before he turned his gaze toward the stairs that Abellio and the others had gone racing up a short time ago, "Abellio, say your goodbyes, I think that it's time we get going." He called up to the little Ysali Keinling. It was something that summoned him quite quickly, rushing down the stairs and over to the table where his bonded was sitting. Junjie lowered his gaze to looking at him before he reached over to stroke his soft, green feathers, "Good boy." He murmured to him, pushing up to his feet.

"I thank you for your offer of lodging and food, Erionda, but I really think that we should be going. The Sage didn't send me so far so that I could take too long a break to play with friends, I am sure he'd be displeased with me." He said, finding that the excuse of his training was one that was more then sufficient when it came to ducking out. The atmosphere he was tense, getting more so by the second, and he knew it was due to his presence. Kilian had said it best, he hadn't been expecting Erionda to have company. Now that Junjie knew where she lived he could always come back to visit later, perhaps after Kilian had gone home or was out hunting, for the moment though it was best that he be on his way. It would be best this way, would allow Kilian to get the reunion with Erionda that he was looking for and not one that involved another man being about.

Stepping closer to the other hybrid he said, "I thank you for another fun battle against the dragons, Erionda, they are always far more interesting when you are about. The cold water was quite welcome too in such a hot place so thank you for that as well." He said, then a devious thought came to mind, something he couldn't resist. Might as well tease the unfriendly Kilian just a little he thought to himself as he turned to press a kiss to Erionda's cheek, "You have a nice evening, Erionda." He told her, turning to look over at Kilian, giving him a smile, "It's been interesting, Kilian." He couldn't say pleasant, the guy didn't seem to want him about, but at least he wasn't hostile, right? That was a plus he thought to himself as he scoop up his things and started for the door. Time to get going he thought to himself as he willed his wings to disappear, pulled on his cloak, and headed out.

Kilian leaned back in his chair and crossed his arms. It wasn't that he disliked this Junjie. He was Erionda's friend, after all and was nice to her. However, Kilian felt an emotion that he'd never felt before; jealousy. He didn't like it either.

He glanced over at Junjie as he moved to rise, listening to him talk to Erionda. He frowned as he moved over closer to her and gritted his teeth. His sockets widened in shack as the hybrid leaned in towards Erionda. He clenched his fists and cursed mentally. It was all he could do to keep from getting up and punching the mage. Why? Why could he touch her and Kilian couldn't? He growled low in his throat and he glared at the mage. "Yeah, interesting..." He mumbled through lips that didn't want to seem to move properly. He crossed his arms and turned his head to the side and he mumbled something under his breath.

"Oh, well alright." Erionda shrugged at the mention of the sage. Junjie was lucky to have someone teach him ways. Not that she didn't have someone to teach her when she was smaller. But the fiery Dovaa had up and left when he had learned not only did she pick the wrong clan, but her weapon as well. "Best of luck with your training. Maybe next time we might be able to-"

Erionda froze as Jun came closer to her. Unsure of what the hybrid intended she remained still as a kiss was planted on her cheek. Her face lighting up several shades of red as she stared off after him. Her hand dancing up to the spot his lips had touched. What was that for? Erionda thought her mind swimming after several scenarios. It wasn't until she glanced towards Kilian that a thought had occurred to her. Perhaps the sparks she had seen between the two men were not sparks of rivalry but sparks of love? Was Jun trying to get Kilians attention?

Pressing both her palms against her cheek as her face reddened at the thought. Was it even possible? She had heard him mutter something in response but wasn't sure what it was. Turning her attention to the water barrel Erionda tried hard to ignore the pressing thoughts. Images of Jun and Kilian in a tight embrace taunted her mind.
