lysia_nyteblade She thought about his question a moment. "Hmmm.. It's kinda like.. well... floating.. or swimming maybe.. just.. in the air.. instead of keeping myself up with my legs.. it's like my wings do all the work.. though.. some times it can be a bit breeze and thaat just makes me cold when I get the wrong air current passing lowly.. winter's not much fun for my wings either.. they get cold easily.

Kurage smiled, "Does that mean that you can swim just as well with your wings as I can with my fins?" He assessed the thin membranes, "Mine are much thicker than yours. I've always wished I could fly."

lysia_nyteblade "No.. my wings get wet and they have to dry before i can fly again.. they're actually kinda delecate.. I think the water if I didn't fold them might tear one from the force i'd have to use.. so sadly aside from wading out in the water to cool off.. I don't spend much time swimming.. " She looked to her wings opening them and closing them to show just what she meant with the near translucentness of them.

Kurage watched them, "Dad was right...just like a butterfly. He watched the gentle movement of them and felt himself entranced. "What I wouldn't give to fly like that," he sighed. "But then I guess we always wish for something we can't have?" His voice was sad.

lysia_nyteblade "I suppose we always will.. but then gain.. if we all had everything we wanted then.. what would there be for diversity? we'd never feel the sting of unsatisfaction true.. but then.. would we truely ever be satisfied if we had it all at a whim?" She mused over this a moment in her own mind. it had been something she'd asked her own father long ago. Her tail gave a small flick and she shook the thought from her head. Her two-legger companion was what she had to look forward to now.. and even that woman was a bit on the strange side.. romping around on all fours to play "tag" as she called it.. it almost made her laugh at the memory of the child that grew to a woman and later was seperated from her.. oh she had tracked her for many moons and now.. she'd heard of some one among the two legers matching just such a personality and was here to scope it all out... but that was all for herself to know for now at least.

Kurage wathed her look wistfully at something he couldnt' see. "What is it that you miss? That you would have if you could?" He could see taht she missed something or someone desperately, whether or not she had ever had it, he edind't know

lysia_nyteblade "Hmm? " She blinked a few times before looking at him. "Sorry, I didn't realise i'd zoned out.. But you are very preceptive.. I do miss something.. or rather some one.. An old friend of a strange sort.. a Two-legger I'd befrended long ago." She smiled lightly and shook her head again "I know it seems silly.. Two-leggers and soquili being friends.. but this one.. she was very ... different.. some times I think she understood me better than she did her own kind."

"I've never met one," he admitted sadly. "I don't see how the bond would have to be different. I mean, aren't we all the same at the core of our beings? Hearts care for each other, love each other. So why not form a friendship with a two legger?"
