The new comer to the car was enough to have the lab tech twisting in his seat so he could offer a friendly smile back to her in greeting. "Glad you could catch up before we started our tour. I'm Lesley Hartfort, one of the lab techs on the island, and these lovely ladies are Melanie and Summer, some of our resident handlers. We'll be the ones responsible for showing you around over the course of your stay here at Wonder Park. If you have any questions about the island itself or the creatures that reside here, we'll be more then happy to answer." It sounded perhaps a little rehearsed, but his tone was easy going and matched the set of his grin.
He stayed Turned in his seat, one arm resting on the arm rest between himself at Melanie, and watched the group in the back. Specifically Tooly as she located one of the complimentary cameras that were open for use to the guests. "Ah yes, well spotted." Hazel eyes jumped to Cora. "I know you in particular were unhappy with having been parted with your equipment, but we have some top of the line digital cameras for you to use while you're here. The pictures are all uploaded to the main database for the island, and will be mailed out at the climax of the trip."
"So we've heard werewolves, but are their any other creatures that come to mind that anyone would like to see?"

Les and his spiel was music to her ears, and he looked like an angel just then. So, as Melanie turned the corner into Monster Mountain, she paused just long enough to point at herself, make a heart shape with her hands, and then point at Les.
Summer regarded a number of the guests with an apprehensive smile as she leaned back and pressed herself against the car. This was going to be quite a tour. She jerked forward suddenly and shot Mel a startled glance, looking like a deer in headlights. What was she…?
When she looked at Les, it was as if she was staring at her holy savior (which she was). “Thank you,” she mouthed at the technician before clearing her throat.
“Conversely, if there is a general type of creature you would like to see, we can offer suggestions based on your preference.”

There they were again in some useless banter over what seemed to be about comic book companies, because he actually knew about some of these things due to having children who liked to waste their lives on such things. Adler simply rolled his eyes as he found himself a seat. He would have preferred to get away from as many of these people as possible, with their nonsense, but they were tightly packed into a car so that was not going to be possible.
Werewolves. He resisted the urge to snort again, but simply dove into his questions which were more of the boring variety compared to everyone else. "Have these vehicles been outfitted with any special modifications to meet the needs of the park?" Because he wanted to make sure he'd be safe on the trip, and that if there were any modifications they weren't faulty or anything. Thanks.
Guest Name: Adler Green Guest Profession: Insurance Inspector Group: Unicorn Physical Description: A tall 6'5, thin, stern looking man of 42 who looks like he's never had fun in his life (because he hasn't). Tonio was impressed with how professional Mr.Hartfort was, glad now that they had seemed to had gotten the good guides. Smiling to Cora as she stepped in he tried to keep his attention off of the man in glasses, mostly because Antonio had come to realize that there were two types of people who wore sunglasses when they weren't driving, users and posers and he wasn't exactly sure about the man or the somewhat of a smell coming from him. He should warn Cora about him shouldn't he, leaning over he whispered softly for just Cora, "permite no acercarse demasiado a mr. Me pongo mis gafas de sol en la noche, ¿no?" A weak grin as offered to the floor as he settled in and tried to settle his mind.
When Tooly located one of the complimentary cameras his eyes shifted to Cora hoping that his friend would be happy to have the device and a little more at ease. They were around good people it would seem. When the creature question was asked he waited for a moment to see if anyone would speak up, unable to hold back he coughs softly to clear his throat before speaking, "I don't suppose there are any ..Pegasus around here?" They said magic right? Antonio wanted to be stunned so he threw out the most mythical things he could think of at the moment. When a question was asked about the car he smiled a little, glad to see he wasn't the only one that had that back of the mind worry about saftey.

Jesus Christ, Antonio Banderas was talking spanish back there. Melanie almost swerved into a tree.
"UH." s**t. She pulled her hands off the wheel as she stopped the SUV, and took a deep breath. "We're here, Monster Mountain. Eeeverybody out."
She need a minute to cool the hell down and not.. accidentally kill her tour group.

Cora blinks as she is presented with a camera, her smile going wide as she takes it. Looking up at Tooly and Les, she was pretty much giddy now that she had something she could work with "Thank you so very much!" flipping it over in her hand a few times, she turns it on just to check out the settings and see what she was really working with. It look pretty much like her camera, except it had maybe a few functions her own didn't have.
As Tonio lean in to speak to her, she nearly giggles as she shakes her head "Creo que no hay que preocuparse, al menos espero que no?" she glance up as Mel called out that they were where they needed to be.
Super excited, she turns to Tonio as she chuckles "Come on, I wanna get some pictures."

The lab tech actually froze when Zuckermen began hollering at them, the beasts, and the mountain at large. An entire island filled with nightmares and mythological creatures, and all the staff were terrified at another mere human. The irony was thick..
After they'd been ordered to take the new vehicle and get the ******** out, Les moved instinctively towards the driver's seat, pausing only long enough for Mel to slide over into the passenger seat before getting in. He then sat down, buckled his seat belt, and placed his hands at ten and two without saying so much as a word to anyone. Two seconds past, and he finally rolled down his window, forced a strained smile, and point and jerked his head towards the back seat. "You heard the nice man, everyone inside!"
They were leaving, yep. And their first stoop was going to be a visitors center.
Mel had remained even more quiet than usual as they drove out of Monster Mountain, managing to only give very few, furtive glances at the barechested guest in the back. But now, she only looked sullen and disappointed about it. Plus, she'd learned something new about her co-worker that somehow made her even more sullen. She leaned over, as far as she could, and whispered to Les as he drove.
"If you hook up with the hottie, I'm gonna hate you."

Les had maneuvered the SUV very carefully back down the mountain, and they were now headed towards the coast. Only then did he feel comfortable looking sidelong at the woman next to him, as well as in the review mirror at their other co-worker, and their guests.
Of course Hazel eyes snapped to the right once more at Mel's angry whisper, and he couldn't help but stare for a second or two before returning his attention to the road with a very confused loo on his face. "Noted..?" Was his baffled response, as he tried to work out which hotty she meant, and if she was jealous of him sleeping with another woman, or him sleeping with the shirtless latino heat.. He was HOPING for the first, but he didn't really believe that was the case, unfortunately.
Thankfully Summer spoke up, and he gratefully jumped at the conversation starter. "I was thinking the aquatic center, but first the visitor's center near by for a short break from the excitement, and a chance to for poor Antonio to grab a new shirt." For just.. So many reasons...

As they started out he looked rather frustrated, rubbing over his inked shoulder to at least try to cover some of the tattoo. It was a habit not really because he was embarrassed of it but because once he had a more professional job he was so use to having to have it covered. Stiff and tense his eyes trailed to the front of the car as the topic of a new shirt was brought up, "thanks..." Though he appreciated the thought there was a little bit of attitude to the thanks due to his mood.
Sighing he looked to his lap and over the ripped up shirt. At least it wasn't a favorite.
Whatever Les chose, Melanie was going to agree with, at this point. She didn't care where they went, right now. She just wanted to stop hearing the ringing in her ears from the yelling. And to stop imagining Les and Antonio - nope. Not going there.
She blew her hair out of her eyes, and pouted pitifully. It all made sense, when she thought about it. That was why Les flirted with her incessantly without ever making a move. Duh. The pieces were falling into place, now.
She turned her head, and looked back at Summer. Thoughtfully.
...Nope. Not that desperate.

She nodded her head, satisfied with Les’ answer. Curious about the mention of a shirt, Summer turned toward the mentioned guest.
Her jaw promptly dropped. “A-Ah…”
The brunette could feel her face burning and she immediately looked away so she could bury her face in her hands in peace. “I see…” she mumbled through her hands. “That sounds like a good idea…”
Feeling someone’s gaze, she parted her hands to curiously look at Mel. “Yes…?”

Alder made no complaints about where they would be going next. At least verbally. Because so far, this was not at all exciting and he was cursing his boss for sending him on this excursion.
And if this Antonio fellow was getting a new shirt, he was getting a new pen so he could continue in his unhappy note taking.
