She grabbed the slice of cake that hadn't been ruined by Jacob's face and laid down on the ground with it in hand. She hadn't entirely thought through how awkward all of this up and down would be while she worked through her plan. She looked over at him, hoping he had kept his eyes closed and hadn't ruined the whole moment. She had to imagine watching her right now would not be the most interesting. But with his eyes closed, his imagination could run wild and imagine all sorts of wonderful things... Things that she could probably never fulfill. Goddess, she should've just kissed him for all of eternity. Why did she have to come up with some weird idea. Something stupid to just ruin it all. Somehow, she kept her smile while on the inside she was questioning everything. She placed the cake down next to her and reached for her shirt and tossed it over once it was off. Then, she leaned back and grabbed the cake to smother across her chest. Oh shoot! Why had she thrown her shirt away? Now her hands were all covered in cake. She tried to rub it off as best she could on the ground and flipped her hair a final time to make sure she was as lovely as possible before leaning on her elbow and smiling over at him. "Okaaay!" She tried to sing it all sultry like, but her voice ended up squeaking with the nervousness she felt. But, she was a trooper and kept a smile on her face as she waited for him to open his eyes.

She had stopped. Jacob only realized a second too late that Zell had pulled back, his first action to check to make sure both hands weren't wandering off without his supervision just in case. But it turned out they were exactly as he left them. Then, why..? He had looked back to her in confusion, but, when she requested he close his eyes, he listened without a question. Because he knew this was coming. Even if they were both on their death bed, kissing Zell was pretty damn stupid. Drunk or not, he should have enough mind to remember when an impulse was a bad idea, but he was notorious for making bad decisions under the influence. He turned his back from where she had left, hearing the clank of a dish. Right, she probably needed something to eat before she left the cage. It wouldn't be smart to abandon him without getting some supplies, after all. He wasn't sure how long he should wait before turning around to see an empty enclosure, but he would have unhappily stayed with his eyes shut until death took him if that would be the only thing to greet him.
Thankfully, as Zell's voice chimed and he jerked back in surprise to look, he was very, very pleased that he had. "Uh," He cleared his throat and wiped some of the cake from his forehead, "Okay? As in -- cool." There was no way anyone could say that this was not a clear sign of consent to his actions. Unless she had fallen into the cake and her shirt had just happened to tear off, but that was ludicrous. As ludicrous as Zell covered in frosting in the middle of some abandoned cage, which he didn't remember having even stepped into in the first place. ..Yeah, no thinking, time for action~

 Ilex had just finished doing rounds at everywhere he remembered people to have been dropped off at. ...Which was a weird process since he saw that most of them had already been rescued! Not to mention one of them had the most.. disturbing sight, but Ilex made sure to clean it up so it didn't upset anyone else. He just hoped that whoever he had set there weren't the cause of it. In any case, he finally came upon - OH THIS WAS THE BEST THING HE HAD EVER SEEN. ILEX WAS SO HAPPY. SO. HAPPY. Jacob and Zelynity were officially the top of his list on great people who weren't actually his! He simply had to stop and admire the scene for all it was worth before quietly sending a friendly Tasmanian devil in to drop a map back to town by their feet. He unlocked the cage door and quietly settled himself on the roof, watching.
