(I'm so sorry for not replying, guys. T-T)

Sutar mewled as her mother stood, having already managed to gorge herself some on mother's milk. She bounced up when the carcass landed in the nesting zone and watched the other colours of her siblings move to inspect the thing, as well as her own mother. Curious, Sutar moved forward and sniffed at the animal. The scent was... Curious. Intriguing, to say the least. She prodded it with her nose, to find out if it was dangerous.
It was warm, but not nearly so warm as her nest, and she found her tiny fangs latching into the fur. She tilted her head at it and clamped the strange mouth she still had not quite grown used to in bits of the fur to tug, before long turning it into a sort of game as she tested how much of her weight she could hang from the dead thing's fur and coiled around the patch she pulled at to pull harder.
When it finally came, this weird... Red stuff came loose of the animal. More colors! Sutar was ecstatic and moved closer to test and experiment with the red. She'd seen it before on her mother, but... On mother... The colors didn't move. Her head tilted again, before she glanced at her tail and moved it accross the slowly oozing colour to watch it smear. Little eyes widened as she repeated the process in reverse.
I MADE colour! She squeaked up at her parents and swiped the thin trails of blood accross the carcass again, all but bouncing in place as she explored the more morbid side of art in a childish way, like fingerpainting on the walls.
Mommy! Mommy! LOOK! I can make colour! Her little wings fluttered excitedly while she tried to get the adults attention, and when she noticed that, she was completely distracted again, curling her neck to stare at the appendages she had not noticed until now, stretching and flexing them curiously.
... What are these...?
