Sanji would have gotten away with it, too, if it wasn't for those pesky mermaids and their body language. Sadly, Nadya was a little bit too attentive over how Ariel behaved to not put two and two together.

Still ,she gave the Shenlong a quiet nod of her head trying not to look too amused at the antics of the mermaid currently enjoying her feast upon a living perch. The Handler quietly leaned and got a fish out of the bucket. So far everyone got one, except Ariel who had earned her treat with a trick that had gotten her two.

Nadya usually tried to keep things even. Tried. It didn't always work.

She gave the Shenlong a thoughtful look before she offered the creature a fish, "Here you go, Czar. Thank you for gracing us with your presence," It was respectful and honest, despite the hint of playfulness to her tone but that could be easily taken as happy reverence as well.

Bloodwater caught the fish and watched the others as he ate it. He saw the mermaid's tail flipping at him, but he wasn't sure if she was trying to tell him to go away or not. His tail twitched as more males showed up. Still he wasn't in his area and as far as he knew no one else has claimed this, it was the trainers’ area. He wasn't going to be the one to start any trouble today; he had heard Nadia talk to the other two and didn't want to be the one to disappoint the trainer.

He was a solitary creature and disliked getting close to the other inhabitants of the cove but he wanted more food and Nadya seemed to like it when the others did tricks so he slipped back into the water and swam closer. When he was about a foot away he surfaced for a moment to grab a breath of air then retread under the water. It didn't take him long to make a few bubble which he pushed towards the trainer. These bubbles where strong enough that they could be touched without popping.

Swimming in a spiral around the odd glass tunnel, Rynn hummed a tune as she headed toward the beach. She'd felt disturbances in the water in the direction of the shore, which meant usually food. Or an audience. Or both. Rocketing toward the surface, unable to contain her joy at what a wonderful day it was, she executed a twisting backflip she'd learned from other "normal" aquatic life. Sliding underwater once more, she made a beeline toward the sunning rocks, curiosity and impatience getting the best of her.

Blasphemy! Cordelia stopped eating her fish and stared at the remains, absolutely horrified that her fish was not the best, and her reward was not the greatest. She turned wide, watery eyes up to stare at Sanji, and her lips wibbled, before a sad little bubbly sound escaped them.

{Cordelia wants the bestest fish. Cordelia wants!} Much to no one's surprise, the mermaid's telepathic voice was simple, childish, and a little underdeveloped. This mirrored her personality, and her strong, urgent desire to please the trainer in any way possible. {Give bestest fish to Cordelia..} She whined, making grabby hands at the dragon, who was too far to give her much of anything. Suddenly, she was moving, and her hands had to wrap around Fynn's waist to keep from sliding right off of him.

The others were coming. So much attention on the beach, and Nadya's presence, always called out to the sealife. But Cordelia was always there first; the head of the class, the suck-up. She had gotten her first fishes, and now she had to wait until everyone was fed. Even Fynn, trying to be so sneaky with his desires. She looked away, giving him the chance he needed to be fed.

But she still stared at Sanji pitifully.

Launching herself out of the water just enough to catch the fish, Rynn munched delicately on it while scanning the rather crowded beach. Too crowded, really... She worried about having her fins trampled if she tried to sun herself along the sandy stretch. She then spotted the strategically placed rocks and neatly propelled herself onto one, daintily licking her webbed hands while keeping part of herself in the water. Her two-leg form was rather hard to move around in... how did the fish-giver do it?
Tilting her head with mingled curiosity, Rynn began to run her webbed fingers through her hair in an attempt to tame it... Oh, what she wouldn't do for a decent grooming!

Dancing away from Nadya as she scolded him gently, Fynn let out a deep, throaty chuckle, one of the few sounds he could make that sounded human. His smile was good natured and playful, however, certainly no real attempt at deceiving her in his antics. Even as he lifted the fish above his head, tilting his head back as if he were going to swallow the giant thing whole, his eyes flicked to the aquatic trainer, sea-green eyes glittering a bit before he turned to look at her fully once more, offering her the fish back.

The devious glint in his eye, however, suggested the Kelpietaur was up to no good. The fact that he glanced back at Cordelia with an equally sneaky look promised no good too.

-This fish is best, Cordy- Fynn rumbled, his voice smooth and soothing despite the light, playful tone, -Dragon breath ruined that fish, come play-

"Good catch, Rynn!" She said cheerfully and encouragingly. It was obvious that she felt at home amongst all of these beings. At home and more open. She probably should have been getting ready to greet everyone. She should probably have been standing out with the other staff and guiding groups, but a sense of shyness overwhelmed her to the point that she just came straight here. Nadya chewed on her bottom lip for a second before her head turned to gaze at where Bloodwater was under the water.

The young woman shook her head at Fynn and made a gesture toward him showing him that he could keep it, "You earned it by outsmarting me, Dear One, go on and enjoy it," she gave him a small grin.

Yes. These were good babies. All of them were.

She just ... She wanted to sit with them for forever.

She wanted to stay close to them and talk to them all day even if they didn't understand a word of it. Nadya just ... She was happy. Far more content than she ever thought she would be even if the bosses made her uneasy. The young woman let out a small sigh as she took stock of the fish that were still left.

Nadya hummed a small song under her breath as she did so. "I wonder when everyone will get here?" She felt her nerves roil up inside her gut.

Perform.

In front of others.

Nadya would have to get everyone to behave.

In front of others.

What if it went wrong?

The young woman's smile was still present but a little uncertain now as humming abruptly stopped.
