Not from Galbadia Garden, but his partner turned on them. Claimed to suspect her, but made no effort to warn the group, unless...would he have told Nebulous? Would that information have been withheld if he did? Trying to secretly communicate with the others without Kiyari around might have tipped her off...As much as Nona hated to dismiss something without former evidence, she had to admit she couldn’t see this being a ploy just to deliver Caize to Winhill. That only made it more irritating when Limmari came over to interrupt. Ovelen took the opportunity to slide in another snide insult and make his escape. Nona’s nostrils flared at the frustrating officer, staring daggers after him.
And she couldn’t force anything. She didn’t have the grounds, or the power; she had scanned him, knew he blew her out of the water when it came to brute strength. If nothing else, the fact he held up against Nebulous and this Karas person made that clear. But relative power didn’t make his attitude okay. Nona had a lot of pent-up aggression after the last few hours, and now she had a target. She turned on Taeria with a flat, hard gaze, taking a step closer to her and speaking in a low voice.
”I don’t know where the Hell you got an idea of what ‘fighting’ looks like, but I don’t need you to set me straight,” she informed, golden-brown eyes fixed on Tae’s with a disquieting intensity. ”The guy who just walked away knows more about what went down back there, what got our instructors killed, than anyone else on this ship. I think that’s a pretty important topic to address, because it has a whole Hell of a lot to do with what kind of s**t storm is about to come down on all our heads. I’m asking questions, because answers are what we need. But do either of you give a s**t?” She pointed with her free hand at the other girl. “No; you want to plan for a ‘next move’ that doesn’t exist, and he’d rather make passive-aggressive little comments about what I’m trying to do to without bothering to tell us anything important. And you know what? I can’t make him do anything else, because the a*****e is stronger than any of us.”
Nona puffed air out through her nose, but she backed off. A little. She was gripping the sword in her hand very tight. ”It doesn’t matter if either of you can see it, but I’m the one working hardest to get us ready right now. So, you want to know what our next move is? We sit here, drink some potions, appreciate the fact we’re still alive when some others aren’t, and get a report ready for the headmaster. A report that I am going to deliver, which includes the detail that he is never going to see his grandson again,” she held up the sword where Tae could see it, tip-down between them. ”Then, if he’s a tough enough old man to still run a military organization after that, we’ll do what he tells us to. If we’re lucky, it’ll be another mission to help defend the Garden or maybe sabotage Galbadia’s impending offensive. If we’re not, Galbadia will demand we get turned over as a compromise, claiming we were assassins acting independently so Winhill Garden can save itself and Galbadia can put on a big show of executing us for trying to attack the President, or the Sorceress, or whatever they tell everyone to save face.”
”Does that sound like a good plan to you, Limmari, or do you want to join in telling me I need to be more ******** personable?

Ellale stirred faintly after Tae left, shifting as her brow furrowed uncomfortably. It took a moment, but slowly she seemed to come back to reality, her hand coming up to her chest where her wound was still very clearly visible, but it appeared that the little thing sitting next to her was trying to heal her, and the wound. She seemed lost, looking around with a dazed expression before she saw Tae standing with Nona. It looked like Nona was having a shot of Tae, Ellale frowning as she unbuckled herself and attempted to push herself up, very nearly falling to the ground as she realized her body was not quite ready for moving. She took a moment, holding onto the seat of her chair so as to not fall, while she tried to figure out what she was going to do. Her mind wasn't fully up to speed, and she couldn't remember much. She couldn't remember in that moment why she had a cut across her chest, nor where she was or why. She didn't know where her brother was, and she didn't see Lloyd.
If her mind had been up to speed with everything, she might have broken down on the spot, but instead she only recognized Nona speaking with Tae with a strange look to her eyes. Ellale winced as she pushed away from the chair, nearly stumbling to the ground before she grabbed one of the ones in the isle. Cherro had managed to heal her chest for the most part, but there was a clean scar running across it as she held up her tattered shirt with one hand and used the other to support herself as she moved back to Nona and Tae.
"...matter if either of you can see it, but I’m the one working hardest to get us ready right now. So, you want to know what our next move is? We sit here, drink some potions, appreciate the fact we’re still alive when some others aren’t, and get a report ready for the headmaster. A report that I am going to deliver, which includes the detail that he is never going to see his grandson again,”
This is what Ellale heard when she was close enough to finally pick up what Nona was saying. Ellale finally came to a stop when her hand grasped Tae's shoulder, Ellale watching Nona with an almost dazed expression. Nona had come to a finish, and that had been enough to jog Ellale's memory. She couldn't remember what had happened after being attacked in the hallway, but she wasn't clueless. She didn't see Lloyd, her brother, Lisanna, or Sou-ho. "So if the headmaster tries to hand us over are you just going to give up and go?" Ellale said with a wince as her hand clenched in front of her chest, though her voice gave away that she wasn't entirely there. There was a bit of a distance to it, like she was going through the motions rather than thinking of the motions. Her question was genuine, it wasn't a snide remark from Ellale. It was hard to say if the girl had a snide remark in her body. She was learning heavily on Tae as she looked at Nona with yellow eyes, somewhat lost in gaze. "I don't want to just give up because someone tells me to." Ellale muttered shaking her head.
"Where is everyone...? Nebulous, Kalay, Lisanna, Lloyd?" Ellale had literally completely skipped over most of Nona's discussion with Tae. It wasn't because she didn't want to defend Tae or anything, it's that she was completely scatterbrained. Trying to keep up with what Nona was saying was not within her ability right in that moment. "where are we?" Another good question from the girl who literally had no idea what was going on around her.

Lloyd was thankful when Kyrrdis spoke. It may not have been the best truth to hear, but hearing his teacher's voice helped. The grip on Lloyd's knees tightened however, when he heard just what Galbadia could be very well capable of. The imagine of Sou-ho protecting everyone and the mansion being engulfed by lights played over and over in his mind. An eternal memory, one that would haunt him. Suddenly, he was snatched out of his dark remembrance by a firm hand on his shoulder.
"Master..." Lloyd uttered suddenly feeling a swell of emotion. He wanted to cry, but there was no time to go soft, especially not now. Further in, he could hear what sounded like arguing between Nona, Tae, and the outsider. Riyel must have still been out cold. Lloyd heard the Balamb operative, at least he made that much out, speak with Kyrrdis. That's right...they had to tell the Headmaster what happened. Not only that but- abruptly his thoughts were cut off when he heard a small voice speak up. Ellale. Lloyd quickly got up and his expression was alarmed to say the least. No no...why did she have to wake up now? He glanced at Caize as if he wanted to say something but he turned away and entered the back.
"Oye oye you're not suppose to be up and about yet" Lloyd greeted warmly. He moved to support Ellale to help her sit. "We're on a air transport back home Pretty Kitty. On the way out we got separated from Kalay, Lisanna, and Sou-ho but they had another way out. Sheesh it got pretty crazy in there but were all ok!...sorta" He added a light hearted chuckle and ruffled her hair.
"Don't worry, Nona just got a little flustered with all that happened, so pay her no mind." He complained before snapping his fingers seemingly remembering something. "Oh! Speaking of which Nona, Master wants to speak with ya. Best not to keep him waiting, yeah?" the blonde added. Anyone who knew the truth could see that Lloyd was showing mercy and sparing her the pain of truth. It was all he could do for her. For now they had to keep it together and just try to deal with these problems later.

A hidden emotion flickered across her face and eyes before it disappeared. Could it have been disapproval of the very idea of being a leader? Or perhaps it could even have been horror if the idea? Maybe it was plan shock? Whatever it ever it was she seemed to easily brush off the idea as she turned to look back at Nona jumping slightly at how close the girl had gotten to her. She was practically breathing right in her face. She flinched slightly taking a step back from the other girl. Clearly whatever was said between the two she’d only made it worse by butting in. Tae let out a quiet sigh as she listened to Nona rip into her. It almost seemed like she was fine with Nona yelling at her. An odd expression rested on her face as she listened to her. She raised a brow at her when Nona claimed that she didn’t give a s**t. That was wrong, because she did care what was to come. Nona just had a different way about doing things. ”I think having some sort of plan is just as good as getting answers. But he clearly wasn’t going—“ She attempted to say before Nona broke through continuing to rip into Tae. She gazed down at the sword grateful that Nona had back off slightly. Tae looked off to the side her cheeks flushing pink at Nona’s next words. Did the girl honestly think she was the only one doing things? And so what, the guy was an a*****e but if he was stone walling Nona it didn’t matter how strong anyone was, clearly they weren’t going to get any sort of answer from him. So why not try a different route? She was going to say just as much in the same low whispering tone when she heard Ellale and felt the girl’s hand upon her that she broke from that expression and a look of worry formed on her face. Chero had only looked up with its eyes as its gaze followed Ellale as she stood and moved to Tae and Nona. Its gaze then moved to stare at the man meeting his own gaze. Who could say what the creature thought of him. Tae wrapped an arm around the girl to support her almost right away. Perhaps allowing her to wake up wasn’t such a good idea if the girl was going to get up and start walking around. ”Kitten…” she started to say before she heard Lloyd’s voice call out to Ellale. Tae narrowed her eyes at him as he took Ellale’s other side clearly to put her back into a seat. Her grip on the girl tightened. It was clear that even though Lloyd was a good friend she didn’t want to hand Ellale off to anyone. Hopefully though, Tae’s grip didn’t hurt the girl further. ”I’ve got her.” she told Lloyd not allowing him to take her. Tae looked back at Nona ignoring Lloyd for the time being but it was then that Lloyd addressed Nona about the “master” needing a word with her. It was clear something wasn’t settling with Tae. When she looked at Nona her gaze told the girl they weren’t done but it was clear she didn’t want to say anything at the moment. Tugging Ellale with her she moved to sit back down next to Chero though instead of putting Ellale in a seat of her own she pulled the girl onto her lap holding her close. ღ OOC: Blah post ღ

Nona had been too focused on chewing out Taeria to spot the green-haired girl weakly make her way over. Ellale’s question brought out a smirk, even if it seemed a little hollow. At least, the first one did. Nona’s expression soured instantly at the question of where the instructors were. She opened up to reply, but Nipal had beaten her to the punch, rushing up to support the injured girl. His sugar-coated answer brought another full-on glare from Nona who obviously disapproved of the treatment, but Nipal could answer for that when the time came. It seemed she was wanted elsewhere, and the “conversation” between her and Limmari was thoroughly lost in the shuffle of their interaction. She left them to it, starting to make her way down the other aisle of seats.
As it happened, this was where Ovelen had settled down. Nona still maintained her glare from a few moments before, but she paused as she passed him. ”Sorry about that Holy spell. Thought you were turning on us, too. Came in handy,” she offered. Blunt and brief, but sincere. She walked on toward the front without further interruption.
The door to the cockpit came open again, this time admitting Nona. She moved up and dropped into the co-pilot seat, laying Nebulous’ sword across her lap while she peered out the front window. Her glare had somewhat abated by this point, at least. Laine knew her just as well as the other instructors of the Garden, but actually might have had a higher opinion of the girl than most. She tended to discard her academic schedule in favor of personal efforts, but combat training was something she took very seriously. He saw much more regular attendance from Winchester than most of the Garden teachers.
Nona didn’t seem to have the nerve for pleasantries, just waiting for him to speak up.
