In their usual grumpiness, neither of them noticed the damsel in distress. In fact, they just stood there, having one of those eye-to-eye arguments again. Until finally, Elvin noticed that she never answered.
"Right, Miss Lady? Miss lady...?" The bunny turned his head to find the Lady flat on her face in the sand, flailing about like a bug on its back. He made a skip into the air and ran right over. "Miss Lady! Are you alright? Berry, what is she doing?" "I think she's being attacked by sandlions." "Do we help her?" "Yes, sandlions are a ladies worst enemies." Elvin was mighty impressed, as he never would've figured that out.
The two dragged her up and brushed her off, just to make sure there weren't any sandlions still hiding in her fur. "It's a good thing you have us. Those sandlions can be real tricky." Berry straightened up all proudly, like a little boy who recieve his first high grades in school. He had now officially saved a Lady. And Elvin helped... A little. Very little. Yes. Like his tree. That thing is tiny. "I think you need to find a better tree." "Do not!" "Do too. It's puny." "It's a baby tree...", he muttered. "Ladies like babies..." Berry frowned. He didn't like it when someone knew something he didn't, so he denied this fact instantly. "They most certainly do not!" "They do too!" "How would you know, you've never met one!"
Silence struck. The two gave eachother one mighty sour look, then turned back to back and refused to speak any further.

Ness just sat on the ground and was pawing at her ears. She was making sure they had all the sandout. She kept blowing her nose and spitting on the ground. She used the bottom side of her paws to brush her tongue out. "BLeh. I need some water I think. I gotta wash my mouth out now. Thanks for helping me boys. I was a little stuck there for a second."
She watched them go into that argument mode again. "Why are you guys fighting? Boys.. don't be like that. Everyone has important roles to play. You're both valuable. Berry... Elvin is your brother and very good friend. I'm sure he needs to feel important and valued too. Everyone likes to be important for something."
She got up then and crawled over to look at Elvin's tree. Her eyes looked over up at him. She looked at it immediately thinking this tree would not in any way be big enough to support a hammock or any kind of sleeping place. Maybe wanting a tree brought here was just too big of a thing. Maybe she'd need to see about if there was a god or goddess who could make such a thing do this.
"Elvin, thanks for trying. I think we should still for now plant this near my house you two built for me. We will see about finding someone who can grow this." She looked sheepishly apologetic at Elvin. "I'm sorry my friend. I can do somethings, but I cannot make anything grow. That isn't the kind of powers that I have." She then went up and gave him a hug. She hoped he wouldn't be angry with her since the tree was actually not big enough.

Berry quickly forgot to be angry with his friend, as he so often would. Only one thing was left on his mind now; growing trees. Who could do such a thing? This is something he had never heard of, and while he usually didn't like information unknown to him, this was the wisdom of a Lady. A new story, perhaps? "Tell us of the Tree-growers, Miss Lady. Please do." He settled down, ready for a good story, his eyes sparkling like those of children about to blow the candles of a birthday cake.
Elvin, however, didn't seem quite so enthusiastic. He was still quite mad, though he'd pretend to be fine. And something was worrying his mind. He couldn't quite put his paw at it.
"Elvin, the Lady is telling us a story." Berry gave him a stern look. "Huh? Oh!" He dropped down next to his buddy, ready to hear the story of a lifetime, but with his mind still rather distracted.

She then made a circuit around the boys, pausing and hugging them from behind. Then circling back around to find a comfy seat, her long fluffy tail swirling around her as she went. Her long bangs fell into her face, and she lifted a paw to move them out of the way. She pressed her paws into the soft sand under them, and she leaned forward with semi relaxed coy expression.
"Well, I'm not sure carousels exist who are necessarily 'tree-growers', but there is one I believe who has that special ability. See, there are some carousels who has some special ability. I'd say talent. We are gods and goddesses. Each of us have certain things we are especially good for. Like for me, mine isn't nearly anything as powerful or grand as making plants grow. That is a power of a different sort."
She thought somewhere in her mind that a well timed touch of affection could actually be almost as powerful as growing plantlife. It helped living souls grow in emotional ways, but that wasn't something as easily seen or manifested as a tree growing.
"Now, I must tell you boys. I've never met him personally. I've heard of him though. He's a black tiger who roams here and there. I heard some rumors that he had taken another goddess as his mate; so it's hard to say if he is still roaming or if he's family rearing these days. Still, if we can send him a message... maybe he'll stop by?"
She got up and flipped her feet in the air. She walked on her hands through the sand pacing back and forth as she was thinking. "How.... could we send a message? We could write it on a note, and send it on the leg of a bird. but... that might take a while... how do you guys send messages to others?"

Shadow is walking about as he stretches a bit and continues on. He hasn't been to a beach before so he thought that it would be fun to go see one and maybe see what he can grow there. Humming a bit to himself in a sweet tone as he is in a happy go lucky mood. Stopping in his tracks as he hears voices. He stays still a moment as he then starts to move forward again. He continues onward until the hears aren't a whisper and can be cleanly heard now as he looks about seeing a few others as he smiles. Today just might be a wonderful day after all.
