Roland looked away somewhat ashamed at her reaction as she continued to trace his wounds. "It's... it's a long story, but we're past it Jordan made it clear he wouldn't tolerate Rep acting like that again..."
He squirmed slightly before relaxing again as she moved to nuzzle at his neck. Little gestures and subtle ways to make him realize it was all okay.
"It looks fine now, it hurt like hell and was a horrible mess when it happened... Jordan and Candace had to haul me to the labs to get it fixed or I might be like Rin right now." Slowly he guided them both back to the bed climbing in and resting his back against the wall as he tugged her into his lap.
"No, not brave, just stupid."

"That's good though..." She whispered and tilted her head. "When we aren't walking around at 4am, you'll have to tell me..."
And awwww, he kept squirming around and stuff and it was making her just want to hug him so much tighter.
So she did.
"Well of course then, and I'm glad they helped you..." She squeaked as he turned them to the bed again, falling on it and then tugged and..Roland Oh my.
"I think its very brave." She straddled him in his lap and took his face in her hands. Leaning down to kiss him. "Sorry to have woken you up..."

Roland settled into the hug happily arms around her, hands rubbing gently at her back and along her neck to help her relax as she twined around him.
"Jordan's a good guy, and Candace is a great girl. They've post helped me out loads beyond that. I wouldn't be half the hunter I am right now without them, and without you."
He smiled softly at her as she apologized.
"Brave, stupid, I'm alive, and right now I'm happy." He kissed her again gently on the lips, pulling back to ruffle her hair gently. "It happens, we can get to sleep again."

Nevada nodded and let her head drop on his shoulder. It was a easy tradition that got them to sleep. Well....maybe got her to sleep faster.
"I'm glad, let's keep you that way okay handsome?" She made a face against his shoulder and pressed him back. "Sleep again..." Was the last thing as she fell effortlessly to sleep in his arms.
Maybe with some careful maneuvering, he could unlatch his leech girlfriend.
