Hi PMS, Ami, Ninji, Starry, Meadow, Glitter, Sandra, Mors, Morigale, Neb and PK! I'm Gob, and I recently turned 23 half a year ago. I have remarkably little writing experience considering I will be graduating with a major in English and Journalism soon. This will be my first time writing a piece of substantional length, so I'm excited about joining this group! I'm also glad I'm not the oldest here x.o I was slightly worried.

I usually write surrealism or magical realism, but I'm trying to explore new territory, like high English romanticism, but, eh, you know. Words. Maybe I'll write a layered novel about a janitor who discovers meaning in life through a shitty Naruto fanfic print he found while cleaning the toilets, kills someone with his emotions and gets on opiates. It'd be like a modern "Picture of Dorian Gray."

Anyway, hello! It's nice to meet you people! I'm excited to read your writing!

Hello! My name is Kai. I'm a freshman in college and an avid reader/writer, if I do say so myself. I have done the traditional nanowrimo challenge for two years and won one of them.

I usually write fiction and sometimes poetry. I've noticed that I enjoy writing short stories as well. I would say my style goes from journalistic to lengthy and wordy. If you ask me, my goal this year is to create a happy medium.

Between this challenge, writing for papers and magazines, and getting ready for uni, I have a lot cut out for me; however, I'm ready to take the plunge, as well as do it with a community as lovely as this. smile

Hey everyone! Most people call me Dumpling, but I'm also called Sparkles (due to my old username, Sparkles the Wolf) or Dumples. I'm by far the youngest here at age sixteen. I enjoy writing young adult fantasy with a romance sub-plot. I'm in the middle of many, many projects. I have no idea whether or not I should ditch a couple, but I would like to get outside feedback first. Outside of writing, my hobbies include reading, watching anime, swimming, drawing, and role-playing. I'm thinking about entering the culinary career.

It's nice to meet you all, and I hope to get to know you better!

Hey guys! My name's Joe and I'm a freelance writer living in the Midwest. I'm a bit of a geek (as if my DBZ avatar didn't give that away) and I just rejoined Gaia so I could meet some like-minded people.

My goal is to write (and hopefully publish) an anthology of 26 short stories before the end of the year called "The ABC's of Geek". It's basically an exploration of "geek culture" that dives into such tropes as zombies, time-traveling aliens and immortal sea monsters.

I'm splitting the series up into three books (that's 8 stories and a prologue for the first book and then 9 stories for the next two). It's a huge undertaking but I'm confident that, by using the Gaian WriMo as a springboard for the first book, it won't be completely out of reach.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Hi there! My name's Delaney, and I'm going into my junior year of high school. I'm so excited to get to flesh out my characters and my stories with you guys~ heart

Hey, all. I'm Misuki. I've been writing fanfic off and on for a very long time. I actually don't have plans to make writing into a career, but I love doing it for fun. I am a recent college grad who's looking for a teaching job. heart

I'm glad to be among my fellow writers to get one of my most ambitious fanfic ideas going.

I'm Supi, but also Nikola. I'm going to be 24 in a few short months in November, and also about to graduate from college, as an English major. This year my genre appears to be drama/sci-fi with a sub-genre in post apocalyptic. But I'm generally more character focused than anything.

My goals in writing are generally diversity representation, because it's a major pain how underepped LGBTQI+ people and PoC are.

Also, in general, I like taking minor characters, especially ones crapped on by canon and breathing a bit of life into them. I write mostly fanfic, if you couldn't tell already.

I also really like writing crack, whether it's shipping crack or just crack in general. I think the last cracky thing I wrote was about this one character imagining another (male and the stoic, brick wall type, only mentioning because it actually was relevant as the prompt was "magical girl, regardless of gender") as a magical girl from a prompt on tumblr. Because why not 'ey?

My interests outside writing include reading, puddle splashing, chatting with friends, and achievement questing in video games. Also swimming, but I haven't swum in years .___.

Aiiieeee; you're all so young!

*takes out her cane and shakes it at you whippersnappers*

Even though it was a couple years ago when you guys introduced yourselves, you're still in your twenties.

However, I'm 35. I'm a single mother, divorced, living off of social assistance because I'm currently unable to work. I live with my mother, sister, and darling son (who is five years old as of this typing.)

I've been writing for myself since I was 12 years old, and it's pretty much been part of my identity since then.

I went to college, but didn't finish due to financial constraints.

My main genres are dark/high fantasy. I very rarely have stories set on Earth.

Hello everyone! Elemental Rhythm here! biggrin

I'm 30 years old, work in retail (although I'm currently off right now, in order to recover from surgery), and love to read and write.

I also love playing video games, listening to music, and watching tv.

I live with my mother and brother (my parents are divorced) in Canada.

I've been reading for as long as I can remember (I seriously can't remember a time when I haven't been able to read), and writing since elementary school.

I enjoy all sorts of genres, but my favourites are horror, fantasy, and historical fiction.

Thank you for having me in the guild. heart

Hi, all! I know I'm kinda late to this thread (by 2 years, haha), but I'll introduce myself anyways. I'm called Ju by most. I'll be 22 before the end of the 2015 SuWriMos. This summer's writing should be interesting as I'll be doing it around work and my daughter.

Outside of writing, I love all sorts of creative things. Drawing, crocheting, sometimes sewing, as well as making a video game with a small group, occupy my free time.

I just came back to Gaia to find a writing community, and I'm super-excited to have found this one!
