Guys. This isn't just about new lines! It's about cleaning up things when all else has failed, and I'm sorry y'all but frankly the shop needs a little help. iZune's is all but dead, and an update of everything is what we really need! We'll have new types of Zunes, TRIBES with ELDERS, and the overall feel of the shop will be new and fresh!
I understand some of you don't like change, and that's fine, I don't either. But we can't keep beating a dead horse! This isn't just about 'oooh new lines', its about trying to restore life and luster and making a better shop!
edit: Also, I just want to re-inforce what Sunny said, and say that the legs are a pain to work with. Skirts look horrible just about no matter how you do them, pants and shorts are impossible to make right, and shoes are wicked awful!

I don't like the fact that new lines seems to be little bit too skinny, almost like it is copying the media and social population's notation that skinny things (pets, humans or whatever) are better than sturdy or regular body frames. What I like the most about the new lines is the comments coming from the people who have to work with them, I think its nice that people are being given a choice in the matter of if this happens or not. However, to me the people that have to work with a product opinions are very highly held.

Now that a few others have opened up I kinda feel more open to do so myself. I'm not a big fan of the old lineart, and from the pets I have seen whenever I HAVE popped into the shop I don't think many do either. Why? Because of the level of edits, I'm all up for new breeds but I feel you should love the lines as they are without having to throw a hundred edits on.
The new lines are cute, not exactly what I'd look for in a shop but hey I'm much more likely to participate and try and win them. The opportunity for new things and other changes to the shop really settle my yes. There has been mention of how clicky this shop can be, most are but this can get a bit extreme. I came here for a few friends and try to make new ones, but the times I have been in haven't received much of a warm welcome if a welcome at all.
I get that the "regulars" like these lines, though I'm not sure if you like the level of edits thrown onto them or how you end up with so many because there are rarely new people. You should be looking and supporting ways to bring in new people, and those of us "You've never seen before" is from what I've seen for the very reasons being asked about here, the lines. Everyone's entitled to their opinion I just don't really understand the "Well if you change it I'm leaving!" Thing... you should love more than just the lines really, I do love the concept and was very excited to RP here, new lines will just give me that final incentive to do so.
Not everyone will end up happy... but the most reason for not wanting to change seem to be sentimental rather than looking at the situation objectively. I vote yes, I want the staff to be comfortable and enjoy colouring, I want the option for new things to be added, and for it to be easier to change the issues already there. I'd like to see cleaner lines, and more options.

The coloring and concept is cute, but the lines never looked very finished/professional. I think the new line art is much better - especially if the artist is (and seems to be) willing to make some minor corrections/crits from the current regulars

I always thought the concept of the shop was adorable. However the art in theory was cute but not well executed. I'm not saying the Artist that did the old lines was crappy or anything.
But if you look at the art that's being created now by people, the current lines are subpar, messy looking. A lot of the 'no' votes, I'm seeing aren't support by anything other then sentiment. And like Sunny said it's about the shop not just the lines. Changing things up and making them newer will attract people and catch their interest. You have the means to have something easier to work with and different stages.
Failing to use new lines could just hurt the shop, it's in a stalemate. People see art a lot of the time before they see a shop. I know I tend to see something pretty and I go and take a look at it. The new lines look cleaner, look more portioned.
I do speak from experience in terms of having a shop that was dieing and needing to make changes and get things cleaned up and active again.
Username: XxLunar RainxX Vote: Yes Questions or comments?: I've visited iZunes for a while now and I have no problems with the current lineart right now, but like a few of the others have said there are a few problems with the lineart especially when clothing like intricate pants are involved.
To be clear, I'm not too terribly fond of the new suggested lineart; however, sometimes a shop has to do a major overhaul to bring itself back up to its former glory when it hits a roadblock in business.
All I can say is best of luck to whatever decision is made and maybe keep the old lineart for special events or something like the minis during the big free zune pet event a while back. smile

Yes, the old lines are old. Yes, it would be nice for them to be replaced. And yes, the possibilities with new art would enhance the shop.
But given how many no's there are from regulars and owners (compared to yes's from people I have never seen before in the shop... ) I can no longer fully support the new lines in their current form.
I think the biggest problem is the anatomy.
The old lines have anatomy similar to your standard, run of the mill fox. Which is what I think many of the regulars have warmed up to. Here's what I mean:
Thick, long bodies, short but fine legs, fluffy tails. This is what the old iZune lineart is to me.
The new lines, on the other hand, remind me of a maned wolf:
Long legs, thinner, shorter bodies, shorter tails. A drastic change from the originals.
Now, which style of anatomy one prefers is a huge matter of taste (though I kind of agree with Cait that super skinny is a media thing and honestly I do not like that myself). I think that the shop regulars and casual owners would love to see new lineart with the old style of anatomy (though improved in actual flaws).
Tl;dr: Because of what regulars have said (with a preference over random folks who I suspect were brought here by someone), and my comparison of the new anatomy to the old, I cannot support the change.

Yes... the shop may be slow, but I don't think completely changing the art is really going to completely breathe new life into it. Change how some things work over changing what the line art has been. You can always tweak things on lineart without having to completely redo it.
Really... Bringing changes how things work to bring life back around in the shop should be the main priority. Not changing the line art completely. Beside... Yes people can get used to change, but changing what the regs love... That kind of ruins things for them.
And also how people are treated. I know a good few people who refuse to come into the shop after how they were treated. I have even felt unwelcomed in the place that was once my B/C home.... Which is the main reason I haven't been around. Not everyone will like everyone, buuuuut... yeah. I'll just leave it at that.

It just looks off to me x'D I have various reasons for why I stopped getting izunes none of which are super relevant...Just to also clarify the following is from my past experiences I have not actively been a part of izunes since the WOW event because of what occured.
mostly because of how certain staff treated me and being ignored in thread when I did post. Gettin into trouble for forgetting to instantly put an uncert in a breeding form cause I didn't have it on hand etc. Being told You can't edit a form to fix a small mistake : / having messages sent and fearing someone would take your pets because of something minor. Or just being bummed when certain people who happen to know staff or staff themselves did not open customs, run games or events for a long while but, constantly gifted pets to themselves and friends..just general things. I have no problem gifting pets or seein pets gifted it's just when it always happens to the same ten people, plus the pets are so edited..and the shop is just sitting there with nothing going on for us 'not friends with staff'. Sorry orz just how I have felt for a very long time in a shop I used to really really love : ( Sorry for rambling x ox I just looked through my guilds and saw this. As an old reg decided to give my opinion. Sorry if it felt like anyhing else.
ANYWAYS A new OPTIONAL set of lineart could be something wonderful for the shop, and if it didn't work..the lineart could always not be used or only be used a an option like during customs! Put somethin in the form like 'Old line art or new?' Many shops have different sets of lineart, and they do fine! Why not izunes? I do not think the new lines look like EASY lineart but, again thats just my opinion x u x' -flops back to lurking-

The new lines really aren't thinner when you place them with the old line art, the legs are just longer so they look thinner. Only nit picky thing I have about em is I don't particularly like the female cheek fluff, it looks like its packed with acorns like a squirrel xD
Though I wouldn't be opposed to keeping both line arts available and lettin the people chose in customs and such. p=
Username: irishgirl1017 Vote: No Questions or comments?: I bounce in and out of most of the shops I am in, I do love this shop and the lineart. No offense to whomever created the new lineart it just does not appeal to me at all. I understand the shop needs to be re vamped to bring life back in but changing the lineart has been known to completely destroy shops others it has been known to bring it back to life.
Is there a way to keep the old line as a alternative for those who do not like the new lineart? Maybe give a different story to each set of lineart if they are both kept to explain the difference?
I also agree with several other posters this new line reminds me of Easy.
Speaking as someone not in the shop every day, I can honestly say if the lineart is switched I will not be getting any new pretties in this shop.
I also want to say this, I do not feel very welcome in the main shop at all. I feel out of place and uncomfortable. This is the main reason I stay away to be honest.
