Innuendo flew over her head Thana. When he didn't say no to her touching his hair, she ran her hand through it. So much softer and easier then his dreads but...so very different.
She smiled now, a truly genuine smile from all the bad and laughed.
"Yes, I friended you specifically because of your large snake and soft hair. It's not because of how nice and helpful you are. Definitely not for your already charming looks." She moved back in her seat and continued to smile...though it was surrounded by a pink flush. She was never one to flirt but this...was friendly comments to her friend.
That was it.
Then she took a sip of her tea because she embarrassed that she thought of it as flirting.

Now, he wasn't one who would usually find amusement in such things, but the fact that it was coming from Amphi - and how she had no idea that she had just made an innuendo - made her comment thrice as amusing. He would have replied with 'So you think I have a big snake?' if it wasn't for the fact that the mermaid was not going to get what he was trying to imply.
"I have no idea who you're talking about," He feigned surprise, "The only words you used that described me were large snake, soft hair, and charming looks. Everything else, not so much."

She made a face before sticking out her tongue. Tea was dropped in front of her, as she took a sip.
"I really missed you Thana." Amphi sighed, "I know I keep saying it but..." She shrugged and snorted.
"But mostly I miss touching your large snake." She said it loudly enough that had another few customers turning their heads at her. "I miss Biskoto." And you could hear a loud 'is that what he calls it?' from one of the other customers as well. Amphi of course had no idea what even was going on. "Well we did have a talk. Of course I find you attractive. You are very handsome. Always handsome." AND THEN SHE STARTED TO REALLY BLUSH. "Excuse me, I seem to have....um..."

"It seems to me that some things just don't change," Thanatos replied, turning to grin at the other customers when they turned his way, clearly having no intention of clearing the misunderstanding... It's not like he's going to see those people again anytime soon.
"That's a given," He chuckled, "But let's talk about something else other than my dashing good looks. For example, let me give you a list of cafes along this stretch of road that you might enjoy... Great places for being alone or to bring a friend to. How about that?"

"Okay!" Eager to jump off the praise Thana till his ego exploded the room, she got up and held her hand out instead. "How about we walk! Then you can tell me AND show me all the good places."
She smiled, "It'd be a lot better and would really help me get out of this...."
