Knocked from her feet, Kat rolled back to a crouch, but not before taking one final shot, directly over where she had shot him last in the chest. "Begone!" With the shot fired, she watched as the beast dropped to the ground, the sun huntress stood back to examine her work. "Maybe next time you'll be able to take the couch."
Pulling her pendant out from under her coat, she murmured the words to transport her back home. "Deus Ex Machina."
