It felt like his loyalty was in question and that hurt. But he held that back, for now, he'd let the feeling s consume him later when home. Once he was home he could lock himself in his room, if only to keep Alois from him, and let himself be consumed. Yes, he would do that. Until then he would hold his tongue and refrain from explaining things, as an explanation seemed to not be wanted by either General King.
Tired eyes, hallow and dull, turned their attention on the other blond in the room. Nodding once he knew he'd have to call in to work and take the evening off. At least he'd have more time to do his homework he supposed, well maybe if spent less time in this meeting than he'd have spent at work. Watching her leave he stood there, silent, his attention again on his own General King. He said nothing, didn't move more than it took to turn his attention on his General King, and he waited. What else could he do in this situation? He didn't see anything else for him to do and it seemed speaking now would be less than appreciated or wanted. So he stood looking tired and rather like a small child.
