Tristam Lockhart C.C. paused, watching her cousin with fascination, mainly because Cuddle, her cat, did the exact same thing! It was so strange to see a phony do that. Giving a quick nod, the red-maned filly ran into the yard until she found a big puddle of mud. "Here!" Her legs were already splattered with big brown spots from running over it. "Think of it like a facial and stuff. Oh! We can have snowfight, but with mudballs!"

The filly gather some mud in her hooves. "They are like snowballs, but dirtier." She giggled and threw the mud upwards so it landed on her head and smear down her face. She laughed and grinned at her cousin. "I was gonna throw it at you, but I didn't think you could handle it."
She gather up more mud and held it out of her cousin. C.C. was used to being dirty with mud or otherwise, with her father's garden, it was just too much work to be completely pristine all the time unless she was running off to a delivery.

Jasmine blinked as the filly made a 'mudball' and proceeded to throw it into air. Her facing catching it. She had to admit, it looked like fun. But her mother's voice about being dirty and always being clean clung to her mind. It was far more difficult for the red filly to be so bold. She was secretly glad C.C. had decided to pelt herself instead of attack her.
But gathering her courage she stepped ever so lightly into the mud puddle. It wasn't quite what she expected. She half expected to step into the puddle and sink into a sticky goo. Instead she felt the bottom quickly and almost slipped. "Woah! Oh my!" she tettered a bit in the squishly, slippery mud.

"Easy there, Jas" She pressed her side against her cousin's to keep her steady and laughed. "Dirt and water, who knew it could become so slippery!"

Jasmine was about to thank C.C. for her help in keeping her up right at least until her hoof came into contact we a very slippery bit of mud. In a suddenly flail the white haired filly slipped and fell with a large splat into the mud. She was not covered in mud spots, her belly flop into the puddle also meant a lovely wave crashed onto C.C as well.
"OH! Oh C.C. I am so sorry!" she looked sadly at her cousin, then back down at her self. She was covered all over in squishy mud. "I....I look like Kit," she giggled a bit. "With his brown spots."

C.C. squealed in surprise and shook herself a bit. Giving an unlady-like snort at the apology, she grinned. "Uh huh, you look like good old Kit" She looked down at herself, mostly covered in mud but for a few spots. "...I look like Bon Bon..."
Trotting around her cousin, she stuck her tongue out. "You look like Kit, 'ow about zoundin' like him?" She tried to do a french accent.

Jasmine had to giggle a bit when C.C. attempted to have a French accent like her oka-san and oba-sans. It wasn't complete bad. But she wanted to play along, it was fun! She stood up straight, trying to look a bit taller.
"Ah say thar," she snickered a bit, "You's look just like my maw!" Jasmine couldn't help but fall into giggles again. Her laughter was just as soft and gentle as she was, like wind chimes on a soft summer day.

"Oui!" Her body shook a bit as she tried to keep from laughing, but it didn't work as she fell to the mud in a fit of giggles. "Ah, you sound just like him!"
She shook herself up and took deep breaths in an effort to drown down another bout of laughter, she was glad to see her cousin finally loosing up. Looking down at both of them, she gave a little smile. "Oh, we are a right mess..." She wrinkle her nose. "Methinks we should go to my house to clean up, or your mother will have our heads."

Jasmine had a fit of giggles along with C.C., enjoying the round of laughter the two of them were sharing. Though she had not counted on such an activity giving her so much amusement. When C.C. mentioned their current state of mess she grinned a bit. "Actually I know a door we can go in. When Ikebana comes from visiting your oji-san he goes in there as he is usually dirty."
She walked her cousin around the back of the house into a small...well...mud room. There was a sink and some towels, which Jasmine used to at least clean their hooves before showing C.C. to the elaborate bathroom where she could clean up. "Once we are done cleaning up we can have some tea. It will keep you nice and warm all the way home," she smiled, "And your Paw will be right happy."

She curiously followed her cousin around the house to the little mud room. It was funny how some parts of her family had strange accents, or quirks in their speech. The way Jasmine used to tittles from another language always made her ears twitch and give her pause to try to understand. She found it intriguing.
"Oh, a cup of tea sounds so nice right now." C.C. grinned as she washed off the mud with warm water, splashing a bit at her cousin. "Thank you, and thanks for coming out to play in the rain with me! It's always nice to have fun with others."

Jasmine also found it interesting how different all sides of her family were. From the French to the Japanese to....whatever it was TACO-sama was. She giggled at the splashing and splashed back a little, careful not to make a mess in the bathroom. Finally she got them some nice fluffy, warm towels and showed C.C. to her room. It was decorated with some of Ikebana's creations as well as traditional Japanese artwork and sculpture. There she made them both some lovely dandelion tea and continued having fun with accents. Over all a lovely way to spend a rainy day.Tristam Lockhart Did you want to end it here with one last post from you?
