He closed the distance between them and reached out to play with one of those glossy red curls hanging around her shoulders. "You seem pretty eager to give me a prize," He quipped.
"I mean I know I'm devilishly handsome, but we're out in public, you have to contain yourself, woman," He couldn't deadpan to save his lie and ruined it with laughter.
"How long ago did this happen, Phina?"

Lyceum rolled her eyes, but laughed no the less. "Well yes, yes you are, but here I thought you had more of a spontaneous spirit." Phina really didn't care they were outside, she'd been down that rode before, but she did realize that probably wouldn't be a good look as a knight.
She thought for a second about how long ago it happened and really she was surprised to realize it'd already been about two months and she would soon be in her third month as a knight.
"Since about early march. It's been mostly uneventful aside from the guy with the bird of prey. Don't really care so much for the fighting part or the weird olive stick that started this all. Really it pops up every time I change and I really don't get why ... it seems a pretty useless item."

Early March seemed like a lifetime ago and he tried to go over all the times he'd seen her since then, which wasn't much. He had been busy, and he knew that, but suddenly put in this context suddenly made it seem a whole lot more serious.
His brain was muddling in that a lot more than the knight stuff, which was why is probably seemed random when his fingers playing with her curls moved up to hold the back of her head as he kissed her. There was a lot of wanting in that kiss, but he couldn't wait until the next time they went out, because when the hell was that going to be?
"Wh- Wait, someone actually attacked you?" Alfheim was still an inexperienced baby. Even though he had cross faction interactions with the DMC, he hadn't been outright attacked by any agents of Chaos. In fact, the only person who did attack him was another knight.

Lyceum definitely wasn't against a kiss, especially delicious ones that said 'I want you.' Yes, she much preferred kissing to talking about this crazy nightlife she had been injected into. Essentially being a super hero, was not high on her priority list and yet she was still out there.
She blinked when he pulled away, but it took a few seconds to refocus her thoughts. Her mind was clearly on more physical interactions, but she nodded anyway.
"Yes some crazy red headed kid threw a empty food container at me, insulted me and it quickly dissolved into a fight. One that i didn't win, but at least he didn't permanently injure me ... and seriously who want to be thankful for that. I'd rather have not gotten injured at all."
She gave a slightly pouting look of irritation, clearly she was still mad over the whole situation. "I'm guess that hasn't happened to you."

"Oh, geez, Phi--... Lyceum," Alfheim sighed and pushed a few curls framing her face around. "No, that hasn't happened to me. Everyone's been pretty nice, Chaos or not. Well..."
He paused and frowned a bit. "A teal haired squire attacked me, but... maybe every side has crazies?"
He would go ahead and leave his sister out of the mix. Zia was definitely one of the crazies but he hadn't figured out what side she was on.
"Do you need help? Maybe you shouldn't patrol alone," Concern evidently edged his voice, but he really didn't know what to do when it came to hostile forces.

Lyceum from slightly, "lucky you. I wish everyone was really nice, it would make excepting this," she motioned to her thick fluffly uniform. "Just a little easier. Seriously this thing is hot, whoever thought this is a good idea was clearly insane."
She had no idea the outfit was designed for Polaris and wouldn't realize how perfectly suitable it as to the temperatures there, for now she just thought whoever decided on the outfits was sometimes clearly insane.
She looked back up to Alfheim and gave a look, "It wouldn't hurt to have a little help. I'm more interesting in finding out the who, what, where and how's. Beside, after being attacked often my patrols consist of the four blocks around my store before I head home."
She gave a smile, "you don't have to worry about me. I'll be more careful. You should worry about you bat wielding, youma bashing sister. We can patrol together now though and maybe you can help me understand the little stick with olives." She pulled it out of her uniform top, "see."

Alfheim smiled, but it was a helpless and pitiful smile. He didn't have answers, he barely knew what he was doing, so how could he help her?
All he could do was be here and try his best.
He held out a hand for her. "The mysteries of the universe will still be there tomorrow," He said lightly. "For right now, maybe I can just walk you home?"
And assure she didn't run into anything hazardous on the way.

Lyceum looked a Alfhiem hand and almost frowned, but after a moment she released her little olive branch. She had to admit that she was okay with mysteries waiting until tomorrow, she rolled her eyes her hand firmly in Alfhiem's and muttered, "sap."
Still she didn't let go and her patrol was totally forgotten, not that she was very good at the patrolling thing anyway.
