Hel was still staring out the window as he spoke, and she mulled over his words. They were really nice, actually. Good, good memories…and holding onto those memories…focusing on what she did have and not what she didn’t…? Uuuugh. Then she thought about that stupid song again, and what little she had salvaged of a good mood shattered once more.
She sighed.
“Your hometown, huh?” Interesting. “Nah…it makes sense, I suppose. It is only natural to go back to someone you also trust.” Hel didn’t have any tattoos…but she imagined having someone go at your skin with a needle did require a good amount of trust.

Kettil was watching her but if he had caught her shifting moods it was unlikely he was going to do anything about it just then. He'd leave it up to her to open up to him if she needed it.
"Truer words have never been spoken," Kettil grinned at her and then as the train ride went on he started pointing out familiar landmarks to her as they zipped past.
It wouldn't take long before they arrived at the station where Kettil's folk made their home and quite readily he lead the way forward. Once in town Hel would notice a lot of trees, a lot of trees with Owls hanging about and people meandering in and out of still living trees that were carved into homes and businesses. It was rustic and calm here.

Going somewhere new was good in the aspect that it was quicker to occupy her mind. Not entirely…but enough. She looked at the new surroundings with interest, and then they finally came to their stop, Hel was trailing behind Kettil…and staring up like woah. More often than not, she’d stop and just stare, and then be skittering after Kettil to catch up with him. She’d never seen a place like this before…and coming from somewhere that was predominantly plains…yeah…
She just whistled her appreciation.

Kettil didn't walk too fast. He had slowed down enough to just let her enjoy the sights and sounds. He hadn't told his family that he was coming home for a bit, simply because he didn't plan on staying long and he didn't really care to be a big crying mess around Hel when they left. It was enough that Freya had to deal with him sulking on the way home.
The boil wasn't in any hurry to leave home straight away either. Moderate pace and he made sure she didn't get lost.
"I kinda hope to live back here one day in the distant future," he said thoughtfully as he stopped in front of a shop front, a sign above was of an owl seemingly made of ink. He gave Hel the pleasure of entering first if she so desired.

“You do, huh?” She echoed, watching as a large owl swooped overhead and then landed in a branch above. “Like after Amity-in-the-future?” As Kettil slowed she couldn’t help but peer over her shoulder at all the reapers as well once again, and the place they lived. Her attention snapped up though when they stopped, and she peered up at the sign before she went in first, since Kettil had not. She held the door open for the Muut after she went in though, and now peered around the shop curiously.

"Yeah! Though I am not completely settled on the thought. I guess some of that would depend on Freya as well in the end," Kettil murmured thoughtfully as he meandered in after her with a quiet humming, he seemed happy to be home again.
Hel had been greeted by tall tattooed figure with dark hair and a rather large grin, he'd been about to greet her when he saw Kettil. The male raised an eyebrow, "Y'comin' in here with a new ghoul each time, eh?"
Kettil froze almost guiltily and shifted a shoulder, "Ain't like that, Takoda. Hel meet Takoda and Takoda meet Hel."
The one referred to as Taokoda gave a hearty laugh, "So defensive," he turned to greet Hel once again, "pleased to meet ya pretty lady."

"Ha, ya I suppose it would...but I imagine Freya feels right at home here so I imagine you would not have to twist her arm so much." Hel paused for a moment. "But you should twist her arm anyways...just because it would bring me joy." She grinned then and turned to the tall man who had come up. It didn't take a rocket scientist to assume that this was the guy. The wingless Valkyrie just laughed and looked back at Kettil. "Oooooh~" She teased as well. "Do not tell my sister that~ She will be back popping some heads!" She turned back to the large man and held out a hand boldly to shake. "Hey your self. Nice to meet you I guess...I am just here to watch though."

"I'll twist her arm just for you," Kettil assured with a small snort, though it was often Freya that twisted his arm more often than not. He wasn't going to talk about that...
The boil smiled a bit as Takoda shook hands with Hel and gave her a wink, "Plenty of sass, I like that in a ghoul. He datin' your Sister or somethin'?"
Kettil offered a nod in the affirmative, "I am, it's kinda why we are here. I wanna get a tattoo done," he said explained as Takoda got acquainted with Hel.
Takoda gave a short laugh, "You know me, give me the spot and I'll put the ink on it." Then he gave Hel a look, "Shame you're only here to watch! Could be real interestin' tattoin' a ghoul with your skin tone~."

“He is doing more than dating her.” Hel replied, still just as horribly sassy…and wow, ever since she made it to third year, she just got worse and worse. Tsk tsk. Hel rolled her shoulders idly, and was about to wonder where she should park herself until Takoda spoke to her again. She snorted. “You think so, huh?” She then gave a thoughtful hum. “Well, guy, I was thinking about one…” Hel here pulled up the back of her tunic, three quarter sleeved shirt, and tank top to show off her lower back, turning around. “Right here.” She patted the spot with her other hand. “Mustache rides…five seeds.” Sadly, she sounded rather serious about this (though she wasn’t…hopefully). The ghoul then perked up and turned to Kettil, letting the layers drop as she held out a hand and made grabby motions for something. “Give me your phone!” She demanded. “I need to get a second opinion!” She was grinning widely now.

Takoda laughed boomingly with amusement at Hel's response of a tattoo, "Well if that's what you want voodoo-doll, I'm glad to give you anything you want," he teased lightly.
Then he looked over at Kettil, "More than datin', eh? My-my we became a big boil while out of town," Takoda teased lightly as he watched both Hel and Kettil interact.
Kettil was blushing and rubbing the back of his neck as if that would make the warmth blossoming over his face fade away, "Hey! You got yer own phone," the Muut pouted at Hel as he eventually relinquished the phone in question because he can hardly say no to a ghoul.
"Got a particular design in mind?" Takoda ask figuring this was the best time to assault Kettil with questions, "Or ya want what she's having," he tilted his head toward Hel.
Kettil let out a small cackle, "Maybe. We were discussin' it on the train but I actually want wings that take up m'back."

“I like you, guy.” Hel grinned at Tadoka. “You know how to treat a ******** lady.” Unlike some people. B | Hel kept making grabby motions for Kettil’s phone until he handed it over. “Ya, ya.” She replied. “But I do not have it. It is back in my room.” Hel rarely had her phone on her…rarely. The ghoul first took a picture of the tattoo studio, and then attached it to a text message. As someone who rarely used her phone…it was pretty amazing she knew Mac’s number by memory. That was called stalker dedication. She sent him a text from Kettil’s phone, with the image of the tattoo shop attached. Enoh Love Text to Mac: Hey asshat! At a tattoo shop. Thinking about getting “Mustache rides five seeds” tattooed above my a**. What do you think? She then snickered as she sent that off, and held onto Kettil’s phone. It was hers for the time being.

"I ain't had a ghoul yet complain about my treatment of them," Takoda didn't seem put off by Hel's cursing or rather 'in your face' persona that she seemed to have, instead he fed off of it and basically went with the flow.
Kettil was probably far too trusting about who had his phone but then again it wasn't like she could do anything too terrible with it, "Maybe with a bit of a uhh..." his hands held up as if to conjure the word out of the air, "Nordic flare...Is that right?"
There was a small glance at Hel for assistance but that might be a mistake in the making.
Takoda was rubbing his chin a bit, "Ya, ya, I think I got somethin' I could do." He wandered off to get his sketchbook out and some art equipment as he doodled something out.

Hel kept staring at the phone, waiting, though her attention snapped up towards the Tadoka. “Are you married?” She asked.
As Kettil seemed to struggle for a word, Hel hummed a bit thoughtfully. “Nordic flare?” She echoed…wondering what exactly set her culture apart from others. Well…aside from copious amounts of violence and alcohol. “…Knots, twists…braids…I suppose that is what you are looking for, ya?”

Takoda shook his head, "Ain't found the right ghoul yet, maybe one day. Why? You sendin' in an application?"
It seemed the artist known as Takoda was shameless but respectful flirt.
Kettil nodded a little bit, "Guess so, yeah! I saw some of what Freya had with that sort of look to it. She's like fiercely proud of her lineage," he explained to Takoda who was busily sketching things out in between flirting with Hel.
"Think I am gettin' some sort of a mental image fer it, ya." Takoda murmured thoughtfully as he scribbled in some detail.

Hel looked back down at the phone again, and then back up at Tadoka, who was amusing her greatly for the time being. “Sending in an application? Ha!” She cried. “No need. I am here! Applications can kiss my dark a**.”
She glanced at Kettil as he spoke about Freya and being proud of her heritage, and her gaze lidded and lowered back to the phone, still waiting. Too bad she couldn’t say she was proud of her heritage…or her family for that matter. Oh well.
