"Unfortunately there are," Camelot said, sighing. "They are a common problem in this city. That is part of what we do, as Knights. We're given this power to protect people from monster like that, and from the schemes of the force that creates them. Chaos controls more than monsters, but people like us... Negaverse soldiers. Well, all this is very complicated. I think we'll have to have a bit of a lesson, to catch you up on everything."
He smiled, friendly and understanding. none of this was easy.
"You did well, honestly. I can help you learn the rest, at your own pace. If you want my help, anyway. I'm part of a team, a collection of knights. I do what I can to help gather information, to make awakening into this fight a bit easier.. though it seems to be getting more and more complicated every day."
When he first awakened felt like an eternity ago, and though most things weren't different, it still somehow felt like a simpler time. Maybe he was just being unduly nostalgic. He shook the feeling off.
"I think right now, though, we should calm down a bit, and digest everything... taking it in all at once can be a little difficult."

Part of Falias had really been hoping that Camelot would say ‘no that was it’ – it was the same part that wanted this to be a dream. And it certainly didn’t like finding out that ‘monster hunting’ was supposedly part of his new duties. He tried not to think on where the mistletoe supposedly fit into all of this. It sounded big – especially if you added in the chaos stuff that Camelot kept talking about. He managed a nod at the other’s mention about digesting things. “Yes it is kind of a lot” There was a lot to think on and maybe a beer or two. He didn’t drink that often – but Falias figured that tonight was one of those out of the ordinary times. Then something occurred him “I’m... I’m not stuck like this am I?” Sure he was no stranger to dressing up, but that was for work stuff and the costumes came off at the end of the working day. Falias knew that he’d look pretty strange – pretty quickly stumbling around in this get up all the time.

"No, not stuck."
Camelot smiled and tried not to laugh, though he was pretty sure he had asked that exact sort of thing the first time he powered up, as well. In fact, it was probably something they all asked, regardless of what team they awakened to. He glanced around, using his senses to make sure there wasn't anyone around them, then he powered down.
"Just think of what you were before, and you'll turn back to normal. It doesn't matter if you remember the exact details of your outfit: just think about being in your civilian clothes, and you'll return to them. It gets easier onces you've done it. Then you can summon your item to you, that stick, I think, is yours, and you'll power up again. It's always best to make sure you're alone for either... though since we're on the same side, I ah..."
He had given up his secret identity for the sake of making an example, as he often did. He smiled sheepishly and rubbed the back of his neck.
"You don't have to power down until I leave, of course, I was just... showing it's possible, I suppose."

One minute Camelot was telling him that thankfully he wasn’t stuck this way and the next Falias was blinking as the visage of the knight suddenly faded away to be replaced with a man who was vaguely familiar. Falias thought he may have seen him around the library on the odd occasion that he dropped by that way – usually when (as he had been tonight) dropping books off for Lisa. “No it’s okay” Falias tried to ignore the fact that King Arthur Knight, Camelot, had gone from well – King Arthur Knight to pretty ordinary actually and pay attention to what the other had said. Focus on what I was before. I need to focus on what I was before… the words echoed in his mind as he tried to concentrate, although it took a few moments before the strange garb he’d wearing faded away leaving behind a rather tired Marlin Joanson. Blinking Marlin noticed that the mistletoe seemed to have disappeared to. “Thank you for your help back there um…” Marlin’s voice tailed off as he realised that although he might have thought that he’d vaguely seen the guy around the library at some point – he had no idea what the other’s name actually was – well not unless Camelot covered both forms.

"Anthony Darrow," he said with a smile, offering his hand in greeting. He was not worried about his identity being sold out: he never was. It was a bit reckless, but really, the knight was young and new, and needed the help. It was worth the risk, if there was even a risk at all.
He made a face.
"Well, Tony, most people call me. I'm the librarian over at the Destiny City Central Library," and yes, it was usually required to say the full name. More like a habit beaten into his skull, but he hardly noticed it. It was as easy as abbreviating it to him at this point.
He had been there for a long time. Longer than he'd like to think about. Twelve years? Or was it thirteen? More?
Nope, not thinking about it.
"If you ever need help, you can find me there. I usually patrol the area around the library, as well, so if you need Camelot, you can find him there, too. Him being me. Ah. Yes, well."

“And I’m Marlin, Marlin Joanson” Marlin said shaking the offered hand. He sighed “And I guess this is the point where I head home.” It was late and he was tired and was supposed to be opening the shop tomorrow. And that beer was seeming very welcome right now. Maybe even a little take-out to go with it. His mind immediately nixed the idea – there would be no more going out for him tonight – not even by car. Marlin was homewards bound and homewards bound only. “Thanks again for your help back there Tony” he said with a slight nod, before turning and starting down the route that would end in the flat located above Fancy a Change. Chaos monsters, mystical powers, crystals, a librarian who apparently was also a Knight straight out of King Arthur (name and all) – this night had left Marlin with a lot to think on. But it wouldn’t be done this night. Tonight would be for a drink or two and maybe some toast if he could rummage up the energy for it and then shop in the morning – a brief respite from how weird his life had suddenly become. Lithia_Brandon last post from me, not sure if you wanted to do a final post for Camelot/Tony

Tony nodded his head and smiled, then let the poor younger man head off, knowing he must have felt overwhelmed. No one could blame him. He took a slow breath and waited until he couldn't see the other any more before he turned to head back the way he'd come.
He might as well patrol, since he'd started already and his energy was u.
Sighing softly, he moved back to the library and hoped the young knight would be alright, and would come to find him for advice or just to tell him how he was doing from time to time. Camelot wanted to help them all, to be a part of their lives, but sometimes they just needed to strike out on their own.
Time would tell.
