Taking the opportunity, Kat prepped Xedis for their next attack, loosing a few rounds upon the moon hunter's fear shield before she drew further back to get even more distance between the two of them. If this battle was going as it was before, then she needed to make sure that she was on top of this situation.

With the shots fired and the effects of the last attack fading, Ryan rolled over and onto his feet, before he rushed headlong towards Kat. Striking at her with the clawed points before throwing a punch with his other fist.
The attacks were coming on stronger now and both of their Fear shields were wearing down from the constant attacks. The spar wouldn't last much longer and it was impossible to tell who exactly was going to win this fight.

It was pretty obvious that one of them was going to drop soon, and she had a sneaking suspicion, that this person might be herself if she didn't do something about it soon. With her fear shield close to dropping, Kat braced herself for Ryan's attack before quickly shooting at his fear shield point blank.

The shot created a loud 'crackling' noise across his Fear shield and immediately Ryan jumped back and away. The injury from the attack, thankfully was halved because of his Fear shield. But anymore and it was really coming down. He was going to have to be more careful, otherwise Kat was really going to win this spar.

With Ryan's fear shield starting to dwindle, Kat moved in for another shot, taking another large chunk out of his fear shield, in hopes that it would take it out completely. Unfortunately, Ryan appeared to have more luck than she had thought he would.

His Fear shield almost depleted. It was now or never.
When Kat moved in, Ryan seized the opportunity by grabbing hold of her wrist and drawing her in closer, before using his other fist to hit her in the stomach. Which he hoped would either knock her unconscious, or at least stop her from shooting him.
Wishful thinking, but one could hope.

Oh, Kat was far from unconscious. Hell, if she wasn't so drained of energy, she might have gone after him still. The boy got lucky. Real lucky. But she would be sure to pay him back ten fold.
