Pinker- a lizard trying to become pinker it was a rather whimsical thought.
Well I can understand the desire to change the color of your scales, fur, or skin but I’m quite pleased with my purple and blue coloration I don’t think pink is my color. I think I’ll leave the sunbathing to you Teamo,” Wen Tian tried to say solemnly as the lizard blinked at him.
Turning to Parfait he smiled warmly. “Yes we are becoming friends.”

'Well, if she wishes to be pinker, I really can't say too much about that, I mean look at me!' Parfait said, giggling a little.
'Although I really do think purple is the best colour, don't you think?' she said, giving Wen Tian a little wink.
'Though what about pink in others? I mean..say there was a mare, and she was pink. Y'know, like me. You'd like her right? I mean..being pink wouldn't stop you liking her a great deal.'
She really was becoming a little taken with Wen Tian, and had to remind herself that she was sure he was just being a friend, and that didn't necessarily lead on to anything else!

“Oh well thank you I’m quite fond of purple.” Wen Tian's face flushed and he turned his head to the side so Parfait wouldn’t notice.
“Pink is a quite fetching color it just the right mixture of a red and white almost between a red and magenta. Pink is often called the color of love and pink flowers can be a symbol of grace refinement and femininity. Over time I find more admiration and attraction to the color pink,” Wen Tain carefully said as he turned to look at Parfait.
He was rather surprised to find his feeling growing so rapidly. Wen Tain was rather unused to suddenly feeling attraction to a mare and was rather unsure how to properly proceed.

'Personally I think purple compliments pink quite nicely.' Parfait said, with a little giggle and then a slightly cheeky wink at Wen Tian. And to think, she'd thought this day would be just like all the rest, one where she spent the day in her own slightly grumpy company.
'Well..good. I mean..well then.' she said with a blush, that meant her face shaded almost to a crimson colour.
'Sooo..were you headed anywhere in particular before we bumped into each other?'
She hadn't really thought to ask before now, and she wondered especially where he called home.

It was rather warm today and the sun seemed especially bright. I was rather wishing I was at the coast; it’s rather beautiful this time of year. The cold bite of the ocean air is rather chilling against your coat. The cold breeze is refreshing and makes me feel more alive. “ Wen Tian sheepishly glanced at Parfait.
“I don’t want to admit but the weather been boiling and it’s too scorching even for me. I was heading towards the coastline to enjoy some of the wind that makes its way here. It’s takes some of the blister out of the early afternoon heat. “

'The coast? I've never been there. I mean I've heard of it, the place where the land meets that big water, but I've never thought of travelling there. It's meant to be quite a nice place?' Parfait said, wondering if he'd been there often himself.
'I mean..if you want to go, we can?' she offered, with a tentative smile.
'If you don't mind me and Teamo tagging along that is. I think, well, I think it would be nice to see it with someone I know..and like.' she said, not sure if that was true, but perhaps it would be more special somehow.

Well it will take a bit of walking but I think I would very much like to visit the ocean with you. The air can be rather nippy and sand can sometimes get uncomfortable under your hooves. However I often feel like all my worries drift away when I’m by the coast.
The ocean is an amazing mixture of blues and grays that are intermingled with sunlight being reflected by the waves. It’s fascinating and dangerous at times like a wild creature that you have to respect.
The sea dwelling soqs temperament is akin to the ocean. They can be both dangerous, exhilarating, beautiful and a sight to behold. I think both you and Teamo would enjoy the sights but I worry the journey might be a little too much for Teamo's little legs.

'Oh Teamo won't have a problem with walking, she'll just ride on me.' Parfait said with a little giggle. She was determined after all that her time with Wen Tian wouldn't be cut short for any reason.
She had listened as he spoke in a poetic and descriptive manner about the coast, to her it sounded like a most romantic setting - though that she wouldn't say out loud.
'So..I mean, when would you like to go there? We could head there now if you have nothing pressing to do.' she asked.

Wen Tian tail swished back in forth in happiness. He was pleased that the cute female wanted to spend more time with him. “ My current plans consisted of finding some pleasing tasting plant life to eat but since I had a few mouthful this morning I’m not particularly hungry.” Wen Tain replied. He glanced around and raised his eyes to look at the sky. His eyes blinked repeatedly as he gauged the time of day and he nodded to himself satisfied at the thought that Parfait and he could make a trip to the ocean and back before the day ended.
Turning back to look at Parfait Wen Tain spoke his decision . “The sun is shining so brightly today that it seems like it will be sweltering day. It would be a nice day to go to the ocean and enjoy its beauty and the slightly nippy air will be a welcome relief from the extreme heat. “

Parfait smiled back at Wen Tian, her heart sinking a little when he spoke of looking for food as his plans but then got lighter again as he said that he could put that off.
'Well, as long as you're sure and not feeling too hungry at the moment.'
She watched as he looked skywards, wondering what he was thinking of at that moment when he did so, and took a glance herself, squinting against the strong sun, and blinking away the dancing spots of light that were in her eyes for a moment after she too had looked away.
'And it will be nice to see it as well, being a touch cooler will be an added bonus.' she said with a pretty smile.
'Shall we set off then..do have a fair idea of which way to head?' she added, not entirely sure of the direction they should travel herself.

“The ocean is to the west of here and you’ll notice the closer we get the more shrubbery and eucalyptus trees. Eucalyptus trees have a very strong scent to them and are good to help clean out your airways when you get a cold. However other plants have a hard time residing next to Eucalyptus I believe the leafs of the tree make the soil inhospitable to other plants.” Wen Tian spoke in an easy manner as both he and Parfait made their way towards the ocean. Turing his head to her he spoke questioningly,“If you get tired just let me know a long walk can be hard on the legs.”

'Yes?' she queried, glancing in the direction he had indicated before following him. Teamo moved around a little as she walked, and she was careful not to move her head too quickly or too far.
She listened as they travelled towards the ocean, nodding a little to show she understood most of what he had said.
'You really know your plants.' she said, her voice tinged with admiration for Wen Tian's obvious intelligence.
'And I'm okay at the moment, but I'll be sure to say something if I do get tired. Are we far from the ocean?'

"It's good to know a bit of plant lore, especially in my case since I often travel alone. Knowing what plants can sooth and what can harm is beneficial to surviving independently away from the safety and security of a herd. " Wen Tian remarked a bit shyly. He didn't want Parfait to think he was a braggart. Wen Tian lifted his nose in the air and noted the salty tang in the air. "Were close, can you smell the salt in the air?"

Parfait tilted her head, sniffing at the air in the same manner as Wen Tian, and then put her head back level, wincing slightly as Teamo tugged on a strand of her mane.
'Oops sorry Teamo. I'll try not to move my head too much again.'
She looked back at Wen Tian;
'I can smell something on the air yes. I think it must be the ocean, I've not smelt a tang like that before.' she smiled.
'Yes, I can see it would be a handy skill to possess. So we're almost there then?' she asked, flicking her tail in some excitement.

"I've always thought that Ocean air is rather fresh and rejuvenating. The closer you walk to the beach line the stronger the scent becomes. The wind also get stronger and it almost feels like the wind is biting, a rather nippy feeling but not uncomfortable." Wen Tian stopped for a moment and tilted his head from side to side. " The vegetation is becoming sparser were almost there. " After a few minutes of walking he stopped suddenly and turned to Parfait. "I know your tired but see that dirt road to the left of that big rock. We just need to walk down that road and it will take us directly to a very nice beach. From here you can already hear the waves and the crash against the shoreline."
