He chose to not really address the first part, because as he loved his parents dearly, his wounds were still fresh. Wouldn't give them up for the world, but wished dearly they better understood him. "HQ was pretty amazing. With all of its rooms, it had a huge lounge area, bathing quarters, kitchen, and even a library." And...sadly he wasn't getting away from the topic of family. The starred pae nodded. "Yeah. My ma, Dad, and younger sister..." Perhaps he shouldn't have mentioned the sister. If they ever met, Cressy could potentially scare Sigurd off.

Sigurd listened with awe. He couldn't believe such a place could possibly exist! Oh, the other seemed sad. It wasn't right for the prince to be sad like that. The pale fae reached out, gently caressing Shage's cheek.

"Would you like to come stay with me? Away from your family?" He offered, concerned about the tone of the starry one's voice.

Shageki smiled at the other, just before Sigurd reached out to touch his face. A pause. Suddenly his face turned bright red, green eyes going wide. W-w-what?! "A-as r-r-roomates?" The blue pae stuttered out, suddenly losing all composure. His hand was soft. How was he even supposed to react to something like this? Why did he like the others hand on his cheek? What in the name of the Guardians was going on?! He cleared his throat, trying to take a moment to rebuild himself. "That, uh, would be something to, um, consider certainly. But, we probably should know each other a little more. For. Compatibility and what not."

"Of course as roommates. What else would we be?" He tilts his head, pulling the hand back. Did Sigurd make some kind of social mistake? Chocolate brown eyes blinked, looking at him.

"Compatibility? What is to be compatible about? You'd be more than welcome to bring women home. We can divide the house in two, it is certainly big enough for such a thing." Sigurd nodded. "It would be like having your own home, with a shared kitchen." He chuckled, thinking that was one thing he couldn't split in two.

Oh. Of course that's what Sigurd meant. Shageki let out a long breath before nodding, the red in his cheeks finally dissipating. "Then, um, yeah. That actually sounds like a great arrangement if you don't mind the company." The orange haired male rubbed the back of his neck, heart rate finally returning to normal. Get a grip on yourself Shage. Really. Like Sigurd would really come on to you. "For the moment though, there's no women. Don't have to worry about that."

Sigurd grinned. "The company would be quite nice. So long as you don't mind the shared kitchen." He chuckled, imagining the other cooking. That was a cute thought. Maybe this blue pae was a princess in his own right.

"No women? You're welcome to bring men home if that's what you prefer?" He offered, rather hoping that that wasn't the case. Sigurd couldn't quite figure it out. "Or perhaps join my bed if you'd rather that?" What was he saying? This blue man was not his princess! He'd yet to meet that one special pae for him. Didn't he?

"Oh, I don't mind. I actually like cook...ing..." It seemed just as his face lost the red, it instantly regained it. But before he could stutter out how there were no men either...the suggestion! There was absolutely no way to misconstrue that. For a moment, Shageki simply stared at the male for such a bold statement. There they had barely known each other for ten minutes, and already he was being offered to snuggle in his bed sheets. He slowly blinked, grasping for words, any sort of response. "Um...uh...thank...you...but, uh...My own bed...will be okay...for now."

Sigurd smiled. "I'm sure you're a wonderful cook." He couldn't help it. He really did enjoy the thought of the other cooking. How was that even possible? Something so fierce, so sudden.. Maybe this was his princess.

"Of course Shageki." He smiled more. "Would you like to see the place?"

Shageki felt completely blind sided. Sigurd was friendly. Really friendly. The male was sweet, but Shageki didn't know what was going on with his feelings. He had crushes on various females, he knew that. But he was finding Sigurd attractive, a completely new field for him. But to jump into someones bed like that? So fast? His face turned beet red all over again. What a forward male! "O...kay." He finally managed, slowly standing onto his feet. Shageki cleared his throat, rubbing the back of his neck still. "Are you...always this friendly?"

He grinned. "Yes, it's only right, is it not?" Sigurd questioned. He wanted to be sure that he hadn't done something wrong. The pale fae held a hand out to Shage. "Come, this way. It is a twisting path to get there." Sigurd had made sure of that. No one was going to wander in without serious tracking skills. Sigurd wouldn't have it any other way.

Great. Another Uncle Tristen. In a way it was nice to know that it was simply Sigurds nature and thus no pressure, in another way it was slightly disappointing because he felt oddly special. The red dissipated, and Shageki wondered if he was going to have a heart attack by the end of the day from all the stress it was taking. Was he supposed to hold his hand? If he pictured Sigurd as Tristen, suddenly the action didn't seem that strange. It actually made sense. With a shrug, he decided to go with it and take Sigurds hand. "Well, alright then. Lead the way."

Sigurd twisted their fingers together, starting towards the woods. "I would have it no other way. No one will walk in on my prince." He smiled, creating a little fantasy in his head. He may not know much of the area, but he knew his way to the home he was building. A home he would gladly share with this Shageki.

Maybe Shageki was the prince he kept dreaming of. The thought was enough to make him blush. And promptly thank the guardians for the brown stripe across his face to hide his blushing.

So...he was a prince now? Why not? "If I'm a Prince, are you a Prince, or a knight?" Shageki asked thoughtfully, keeping an eye on where they were going to see if it was possible to go back if need be. He didn't see Sigurd as dangerous, just a little quirky. Like Uncle Tristen, and Uncle Tristen was his favorite uncle. Still, it would be useful for him to know.

"A knight." Without hesitation. He smiled, looking to the other. Everyone had the potential to be a prince, or a princess depending on their gender. It was whether or not they chose to take that potential that made them the true prince or princess. Sigurd believed himself the protector of his one prince.

"Of course, you could be a knight too. If you wished. You would have to protect your prince or princess without hesitation though?" It was almost an after thought.

He paused thoughtfully. That was a good question. He had always assumed he would be the knight, but then again he never really gave it much thought. "I never was much for fighting. I don't really even know how to fight." He shrugged. That wouldn't exactly make him a very good knight. He couldn't protect anyone. "I guess that would put me in the 'prince' category."
