Al dismissed Nuru just the same, but his totem was a collar-style bracelet placed around Al's right wrist. Al relaxed at the kitten comparison, a smile returning to his lips. "Kinda, I guess. He woke me up and has been helping me out ever since." He pondered the best way to put it before nodding, "Like my mentor."

"Your mentor."
She fought the urge to laugh. It was almost a physical pain, holding back. It was as if this were some grand cosmic joke, and Sasha didn't quite know how to handle it.
"Yes, well. He has been around the island for quite some time now, I suppose. Knows his way around and all that."
Sasha let out a little sniff.
"He's also gotten himself in quite a bit of trouble, so you should be very careful on what advice you take. Then again, perhaps he's learned from his mistakes, and can pass that knowledge on to you, hm?"

"He's not steered me wrong yet at least," Al smiled cheerily. "What about you? Who were your mentors? Do you still have one now or are you... like... top of the top?"

"My mentor is my division lead, the Doctor."
She shrugged.
"He's the top of the top, and so I guess you could say that I aim high, mm?"
Sasha was not leading him directly to the infirmary. Instead she took the rather 'scenic' route - as she was quite charmed by the fact that this cheery Deathie looked up to Rep.
As his mentor.
"So tell me how things have been since you've woken. Have you made any friends other than Rep? And myself, of course," Sasha grinned, a cheshire smile with an impossible amount of teeth.

"Ooooh. Like him then I think," Al looked thoughtful. He didn't recall it taking this long to get to the infirmary last time, but what did he know? He was the one who was lost.
He looked very thoughtful at her next set of questions. In fact, his face may have scrunched up a bit too much, "Well... no... but things have still been good!" Al seemed to skip along at her side a bit, "Amazing food, my own tent, my own sleeping bag, my own weapon, it's pretty awesome!"

"A tent. And a sleeping bag? You didn't get your own room, with four walls and a bed?"
Sasha picked a bit of lint off her scarf as she peered at Al from the corners of her eyes.
"Mm. Who gave you your room? You weren't assigned one?"

"I did, I was, but it has a big flap to get in," he specified. "I dunno who gave it to me but Rep led me to it after I got Nuru!" He smiled a bit more brilliantly. "It wasn't furnished though so he gave me all his furs."

Sasha stopped in her tracks.
"You're telling me that you've got a broken down room and you're sleeping on furs in a tent?"
She almost couldn't comprehend what she was hearing - especially after all the nice things that Al believed about his... mentor.

"Yup! Cool huh?" He flexed at her a bit exaggeratedly, "I feel all rugged and manlyyyy."

One manicured brow slowly arched upwards, and Sasha cleared her throat with a nod before walking onward.
"If you ever wanted a real room, my old room is available. It even has a door, four walls and a bed - lucky, considering a few mishaps we've had regarding the island's security."

"Ooooh... Really?! Wow, moving up in this place already," Al was humming along with excitement at the prospect of a new completed room. With a bed.

"Just let me know when you plan on moving in, there are a few things I need to pick up and I'll need to officially change my room number, but. Sleeping in a mangled room is simply unacceptable."

"I'll be sure to get you new linens and towels, but you're, ah. Welcome to bring your furs, if you like."

"Okay!" Al was looking at the scenery anxiously. "Are we there yet?" He pouted at Sasha.

Al looked sad at the possibility of being ditched... then less sad when she actually got to finish her statement, "I'd like that!"
