Gene thought and thought for a brief few seconds, stumped on what she could actually do to Hel. The Valkyrie was skilled in battle, and while Gene thought herself a good fighter she knew she wasn't skilled. She just barraged and din't think of the consequences. Empty threats wouldn't work on this ghoul.
She could feed Mot lies about Hel, but that was instantly out of the picture. The boil would catch on, plus she couldn't bear to be dishonest with him. Gritting her teeth, the Doppelganger let out a heavy sight of defeat. "Nothing. I can't do anything to make you not tell." He face fell, like a stray dog that had been denied the scraps of someone's meal, as she looked at Hel.
"You really suck."

Hel just grinned something awful. Having someone squished under her thumb felt ******** awesome. Knowing there was nothing they could do to her? Fantastic. Gene was at her mercy, and she loved it. “…Weeeeeeeeell~” The ghoul started. “…How about…I will not tell him…if I can call on a favor from you anytime at my choosing~?” Oh yeah. Blackmail.

Squinting at Hel with crossed arms and a heavy scowl, Gene held up a finger. "Just one time." She muttered darkly, knowing that Hel could easily take advantage of her multiple times. "And the favor can have nothing to do with Mot, you got that?"

“ Deal.” Hel all but purred, utterly pleased with this whole arrangement. She held out a dark hand to the ghoul to shake on it. Hel was a ghoul of her word, after all…and a deal was a Jack Damn deal, so Gene wouldn’t have to worry.

Taking Hel's dark hand in a firm shake with a deepset frown on her face, Gene huffed a "Deal." back, glad to have that affair settled. She'd probably end up regretting this some time in unlife, like if Hel wanted her to do something especially nasty. A deal was a deal, though, and one's word was worth more than silver seeds.

The ghoul shook her hand firmly and then released it, cackling. Well, that was settled…though it appeared that Hel wasn’t done yet. Instead, the ghoul kept her close proximity to Gene, and leaned a bit so that she could lower her voice… Not for the ghoul’s benefit though, but for Mot’s. “Also, Genie…” Hel started. “He is not as innocent or absent minded as you think he may be.” Here she winked, and hoped it was enough of a nudge to get her to realize what she meant.

Gene snorted, almost offended that Hel would even think the boil simple minded. "First, please stop calling me Genie. I've told you already - a Genie is a subspecies of Djin, and calling me that can be racially offensive. I'm a Doppelganger - a Ghost. Djins are Demons." She was being a bit haughty, yes, but she was tired of the nickname. Secondly, I don't find him absent minded, Hel. I've picked that boil's brain often, and I know how deep of a thinker he actually is."
A sigh passed her lips though, and she grounded herself. "Though...I never did question if he was innocent. Not that it matters."

Gene went on a correcting rant, and Hel zoned out. In fact, she was even sticking a pinky into her ear idly as if she was clearing out the wax for something better to listen to. At the end, Hel snapped back to, wiping her fingers on her apron and idly rolled her other hand. “Ya, that is nice, Screecheart, whatever…” Had she been listening? NOPE. “Ya, I am not disagreeing that he is a deep thinker, but on the other hand he can be total oblivious air head too…” She shook her head a bit, amused. “So what I am saying is that scandalous subject ~ might be floating around that fanciful thing he calls a head too.” She slapped the ghoul on the shoulder then, like a foot ball couch would slap a player to encourage them to go out there and play a good game. “Well, good talk, Genie, but you are boring now, and anything that bores me has got to go.” Hel looked like she was about to leave then…but paused, and looked back at the ghoul, grinning. “Also…you might wanna make more of an effort to stay on my good side…” Her grin turned wicked. “Or my favor might involve you kissing Mac’s a** in some shape, way, or form.” Carhop Cavalier No, I'M SORRY THIS IS SO LATE. Gene gasped a little at the shoulder clap, then clenched her jaw to make herself shut the hell up. Then she blushed the bluest of blues, nearly choking on air that she didn't need to inhale in the first place. Mot was thinking about it too? No, no way. He...no. There was no way he'd be thinking about it. They weren't even that far in their relationship...
A small part of her mind told her that she like the thought, though. Mot thinking of sex...with her.... it made her stupidly happy in a certain way. But! She couldn't show that to Hel, no ma'am. "R-right...of course. Have a good day." She forced, trying to keep a cordial smile from becoming too giddy.
That didn't take effort, however, once Mac and his a** were brought up. The only thing she'd ever do to that pig's rear was drop it off a cliff.
Lucyal I think we're done? Sorry that took forever ;; Life kinda just happened.

Hel just stared at Gene. She stared, and stared, and stared…and then she just started to laugh. Because why not. This entire thing was funny. The reaper just clapped the ghoul on the shoulder again, and then ruffled her hair. She then pushed away from the ghoul, and laughed her entire way down the hall until she was gone. She wasn’t sure if she helped, but she could hope she did. Carhop Cavalier Oh gosh, no problem at all! <3 Happy to see you back! This is a wrap for me : D
