Such a fun fact indeed my dear lad. *Chuckles* But yes I do agree with a mod purge and give chance to others who may be able to support being a mod of a faction or in the factories.

Archer_Jack Wait what are we researching? Every mobile suit has to start from there first form, as research goes better for a faction, the mobile suits can be upgraded for the form you wish for them to turn into, same with weapons.

Archer_Jack Wait what are we researching? I believe its a balancing mechanism. Its so people don't come out of the gate and crush everyone else with badass mechs. I think that's why.

That clears it up a little more, when you said researching i thought we'd be actually looking something up for the guild, not set up research tiers for the factions.
and TBH running factories in this is quite impractical.

My suggestion of super duper awesomeness is a complete wipe of current factions. Installing an Earth Sphere Alliance as the primary government of Earth and it's space colonies. Some Terra-forming on Mars, having that as another place. And then introducing FTL travel and a single colony planet in another solar system. Probably the Gliese 667Cc planet being a colonized world. Then we have a conflict of the colony rebelling for independence against the ESA. Mars may also take this time to attempt to seize it's own independence during this time of conflict. We give ESA a large naval advantage over the other two in number of ships, but balance it just a tad by giving the others either more mobile suits, or slightly better average mobile suits.
Gliese 667Cc would likely also have abundant resources comparatively to the ESA, being a relatively fresh planet, but having significantly less manpower. Mars might be in a somewhat similar situation, but would likely have been colonized first, meaning it'd be in a state of more balance between the two factions.

Gliese667Cc is looking at a high gravity of roughly 2 times Earth's gravity, while HD 85512 b while about ten light years farther away, only has a gravity of likely 1.4 times that of earth making it a better choice for colonization as the smaller gravity change would be easier to adapt to.
Or we could just make up a planet. ninja
