She was easily led into the tunnel with less hesitation than she'd had going down the stairs, sticking close to Nahm and looking all around at the tunnel they were in as he spoke. A part of her wondered if any of what he was saying was even a little bit true or if the whole spiel was him being silly.

Probably the latter.

The sudden warning surprised her and she looked over her shoulder back the way they had come from. "Why not? What's down there?" Was Nahm afraid of something? There was no way that could be true. This was Nahm.

Junko just stared.

"We're monsters, Nahm."

Junko laughed and gave him a light nudge in the ribs with her elbow, not enough to hurt but enough for him to feel it through his layers of robes. "You're a dork." She grinned up at him and took his hand again. "So what's in these tunnels? I didn't know these were here." Then again the ghoul didn't explore parts of the school she didn't find she needed to go to.

"Of course not, I knew it the day I met you." Junko replied haughtily, even sticking her nose in the air until she was elbowed right back. She gasped and let him go, both arms curling around her middle as she doubled over as if to be in great pain. "N-Nahm! How could you?!" She cried, stumbling in her step until she suddenly jumped up to try and climb up on Nahm's back. Revenge!

She wrapped her arms around Nahm's neck to keep herself on his back, her chin resting on one of her arms. "Oh, really? Blossilia are cute." Junko slid off Nahm's back to walk beside him again, fixing her dress while he hinted where they were going. Ohhh? Someplace worth seeing? "How romantic~." She teased, pulling some of her hair over her shoulder to begin braiding it while they walked; with the trashbots and minipets around here she had a feeling she would want her hair off the ground and out of reach of grabby things in case of an accident.

Nahm complained she was heavy and Junko feigned offense, pressing a hand against the top of her chest and giving Nahm the most scandalized look. "Are you calling me fat? How dare you!" She scolded him, miraculously managing to keep a straight face and not break down into silly giggles. It was nice to just relax with someone and be an idiot again.

Delicious little..snacks? Junko blinked. "You just eat them whole? You don't prepare them or put them in something first?" Junko wasn't against using certain minipets in recipes, some of her recipes required a specific minipet...usually the ones that were meaty. Piggles, cephalatos..things like that. But his promise not to tell her boilfriend had the ghoul slow down in her steps, her smile falling ever so slightly. Oh, right..he didn't know. It wasn't something she had started shouting from the roof tops or spreading around going 'hey look at me I dumped my boilfriend look guys I'm single now!' She scratched at her cheek and cleared her throat, forcing a tiny smile. "That would be nice of you if..um.." She really didn't want to get into this. Really, really, really didn't. She wanted to have fun today! She was so sick of practically every encounter with a friend becoming a sob story about her breakup! "If I had a boilfriend to tell.." Yeaaaaah.

Awkward.

Junko looked up ahead for something. Anything to run away from that subject.

"Oh! Is that where we're going up ahead? C'mon~!" Junko didn't run but her pace was noticeably hurried.

The question made her stop again, her hair stopping its usual neutral curling and writhing to fall limp around her. "No..." She answered honestly, looking back at Nahm. "I hurt him. He wanted to marry me and I had already made the decision a few weeks before that it would be best if we...ended it. I didn't know he was going to propose..I'm pretty sure he hates me right now." Junko gave a little shrug, pretending as if this wasn't a big deal. "Probably for the best. And it's not like I could really fault him for it."

She hurried back to Nahm again, grabbing his hand and tugging at him. "Come on, come on~!" She really didn't want to talk about it anymore.

"So. You have sisters? I didn't know that~. How many?"

Three..maybe four and a brother?! "So many scarelings." Junko stopped tugging at Nahm to fall in step beside him, swinging their hands between them. How did his parents handle that? She didn't grow up with siblings, she had adopted a few during her years at school instead.

Hmm...she still felt awkward. Light topics, light topics..! She raised their hands above their heads and did a little turn while they walked. "I've never seen you grin like that before. It was kinda creepy." Junko made a slight face at that, unsure how to feel. "Creeper." There, much better.
